Chapter 342: Chapter 339: MISSED YOU A LOT

"I am leaving the house now. Just be patient!" Diamond said tentatively as she pulled the suitcase out of her penthouse while talking to Sullivan, who had arrived and was waiting for her outside.

[Um. Take your time!]

"Hehe, as if you mean it!" Diamond said teasingly, a smile blossoming on her face at the thought of how fake those words sounded.

[I mean it!]

"Fine, let’s see that when I arrive. Gotta go now!"

[See you in a bit!] And the call ended.

Closing the door behind her, Diamond sighed as she stretched her back for a second, her gaze fixated on the opposite door belonging to Vivian.

Thinking about how generous the young mother was, a smile blossomed on her face.

She should meet more people like Vivian in the future.

Left with nothing to deal with at home, Diamond pulled her suitcase to the elevator.

Several minutes later, Diamond was leaving the lobby under the curious gaze of many, probably wondering where she was going after just arriving for a few days.

From the building to the road where Sullivan was waiting for her, took her several minutes to reach there.

Spotting a black SUV parked by the roadside, Diamond had an inkling that it was him inside there, though it wasn’t certain.

When she arrived closer to the car, a tall man alighted from the car and saw the familiar silhouette despite the mask covering her face. A smile emerged on her face.

At least this time he got out to welcome her. The first time, he didn’t get out of the car at all. This was quite an improvement and one she liked a lot.

Walking step by step towards her, Sullivan felt his blood boiling. When was the last time he saw her?

Talking to her on the phone through audio calls and video chats was nothing compared to seeing the person he missed in person.

"Baby, I finally see you!" exclaimed happily as he opened his arms wide, ignoring the passersby, said to her.

Diamond smiled at the man she coveted at first sight and let him embrace her in his broad arms.

"I missed you a lot. How have you been?" she asked, her hands hooking around his neck, her eyes seeing only him.

Feeling her heartbeat and accepting that she was indeed there with him, Sullivan responded affectionately, "Been missing you like crazy. Glad we meet now!"

"Me too. Let’s get out of here! It would be bad if someone recognizes you!" Diamond urged, after seeing the attention being given to the two of them.

"Um. I will embrace you more at home then!"

"Hehe, I am looking forward to that," Diamond cheerfully responded as she separated from Sullivan.

With the promise of going home together, Sullivan brought the suitcase to the boot while Diamond stood in place watching him intensely, her gaze never faltering.

When he was done, he took Diamond to the passenger side of the car, opened the door for her like a gentleman, and helped her to get in before he helped himself.

Moments later, the SUV drove away, leaving a few spectators wondering who the couple was.

On their way to Sullivan’s place, the couple chatted merrily. Asking each other about how they had been, how was work and so forth.

After being on the road for more than an hour, Diamond saw the car entering a villa complex, very unfamiliar to her. It was different from the place Sullivan took her when they first met.

"This is my other private residence. The security here is top-notch, so we don’t have to worry about any scandals erupting or having our privacy intruded on," to answer her unasked question Sullivan explained as soon as they entered.

"It’s a nice place. Who else lives here?"

"Celebrities, government officials and business people."

"It looks peaceful, and I hope it is like that in real life!"

"Don’t worry, this place is the one place I am proud of. Nothing can ever get wrong!" Sullivan assured as he turned the car into the driveway facing a stand-alone villa.

"I will trust you."

"And we are home!" he said, smiling as the garage door opened.

Glancing around the place, although it had become a bit dark, Diamond could see that the place was a beautiful one. She couldn’t help but praise sincerely. "It’s beautiful and I think I would love it more when I see it during the day!"

"You will love it. Although it’s not as big as Kian’s place, it has everything that you will love!" not forgetting to compare himself with his brother, Sullivan shamelessly complimented his place.

Snorting at his shamelessness, Diamond said, "Leave that for me to see!"

"Um, you will see it. Just wait!"

Diamond shook her head helplessly, ignoring his words. If she continued to respond, who knows what more things he would say?

When they arrived, Sullivan helped Diamond with her bags as he led her inside the villa.

The villa was a three-story one, big and on par with the other villa of hers in Garden View, the one she hadn’t touched after getting the renovations done.

"The living area is on the ground floor. On the first floor, there are guest bedrooms, a theatre and a game room. And lastly, on the top floor, there is the main bedroom, a guest bedroom, a gym and a spa area," Sullivan introduced Diamond to the place as they took the elevator to the top floor.

Nodding her head as she listened, Diamond said after he was done, "We have enough. At least with all this, I don’t need to worry about anything."

"I told you earlier, didn’t I?"

"Yes, yes, Mr. man, you certainly did!" Diamond snorted as she responded nonchalantly, rolling her eyes once more at Sullivan.

Within a short time, the couple were on the top floor, and Sullivan took Diamond to the main bedroom, which wowed Diamond from the second she walked inside.

"What is this?" as she looked at the wall photo frame, which greeted her as soon as she walked in.
