Chapter 341: Chapter 338: NAME CHANGE – RADIANCE MANOR

After the tour, Diamond sat in the gazebo with a table full of dishes as the butler respectfully reported to her how the manor had been in the time he took over.

"After looking around, I have decided what I want to do with this place. I can’t sell it after investing so much in it, so I have decided to ... first, I will change the name. I don’t like my properties being called other people’s names."

"When that is done, I will register for a business. Rather than let this place collect dust, I am going to turn this place into a family guest house of some sort."

"Since we have six houses, excluding the main one. I will keep that to myself and unoccupied for the whole duration until I am tired of the idea. Let’s open the manor to the public."

After so much thought, Diamond, who had plans to live at the manor since she couldn’t let go of the mountain elevator, found herself saying that.

After seeing that the manor wasn’t really to her liking, the way it was built and all that, and how it seemed to separate the family which wasn’t so bad but yet didn’t seem to sit well with her, she was no longer interested in living in it for a long time.

Next time, she would just buy a piece of big land, build her dream home and stop being envious of other places.

This decision made her heart lighter, as she didn’t have to force herself to move to Dielas for business. Frin for her was still the best, though it didn’t hurt to travel to the capital city once in a while.

After so much thought, she decided to open the place to the public. Let people enjoy the beautiful scenery of the mountain and manor, and at the same time, let her earn something.

After hearing the bill being paid monthly, she nearly choked. That was too much being spent without any returns. Even if she has money, she shouldn’t waste it like that.

A business idea was formed and thinking about it, she couldn’t wait to see how will be the response.

Even if the business will be slow, as long as it’s something, she wouldn’t stop.

However, all that will happen after the manor goes under a name change. There was no way she was going to uplift that family’s name for whatever reason.

The butler was a professional man who had a lot of experience under his belt. Not only did he attend one of the best butler schools in the world, but she was surprised to know that he has a master’s in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

In other words, the man could do anything, both manage the manor and the business as well.

Why bother hiring more people when she had a bunch of them?

She and the butler talked for a long time before everything was straightened out.

There wasn’t much for her to do. As the authorities had recently checked the manor less than a month ago, the manor was good to go.

In other words, the business could be started at any time and everything would just be left to fate.

"Let’s do it like that. I will take charge of the name change and registration. Meanwhile, you help me find what we talked about earlier!" as she walked towards the main hall, she said to the butler whose name was Hillary.

Hillary nodded his head solemnly. "I will not let you down!"

She sure hoped so as well.

After returning to the main hall, Diamond took another look as she pondered over the name she would like to use.

Ring. Ring. Ring.

However, her phone started ringing at that moment.

"Help me answer it. Who is it?"

{Its Sullivan!} Andrea responded.

Her eyes lit up upon hearing that and she responded, "Answer it!"

And Andrea did as instructed.

The two lovebirds chatted for around ten minutes before the call ended.

"I guess it’s time to go now. I will be too busy to come back here in a short time!"

{Don’t worry, I will continue to communicate with Hillary. Just leave everything to us!}

"Um, I will do so."

{Have you thought of the name, though? I need it to process the registration.}

Rubbing her chin as she left the main yard, Diamond was in a dilemma.

"At first, I wanted to name it as Diamond Manor or Hope Manor, but after thinking about the business, my thoughts became jumbled. Now I am thinking about these names; Radiance manor, Jewel Haven Manor and Diamond Oasis Manor. What do you think?"

{I think the first one would do. It has a meaning which can attract people. Besides, your name is just like that. You radiate, so let’s go with it!}

Hearing Andrea’s points, Diamond’s smile widened on her face. "Then use it. Once the name change is approved, help me find someone reputable to make a plaque for the manor. The sooner that gets done, the happier I will be."

{I will have everything sorted out before you return.}

"I believe in you!"

Done with the plans, Diamond left the manor respectfully, being sent off by the staff.

No longer fazed by the majestic manor, Diamond’s thoughts were finally clear and a bit anticipatory about how the business would go in the future.

Diamond returned to the Lotus Palace since Sullivan had agreed to come and pick her up later.

She didn’t want to expose the existence of the manor to anyone yet, which was why she told him to come and pick her up later at the house.

Besides, when she came out, she didn’t pack, so she needed to go back home and do so.

Knowing Sullivan, he would be keeping her at his place, something that she didn’t disagree with.

Since she decided to make her backyard bigger, she needed to know how to share the favor and not favor one over the other.

With that thought in mind, Diamond reached home and spent the next hour picking what she wanted to bring since her luggage had increased after leaving Iwarim.

With an hour to go before Sullivan arrives, she received a call from Vivian.
