If it wasn’t the previous owners or Andrea who did this, could it be the system did this? If I was like that, why did it do so?

She was conflicted and a bit silent until Andrea informed her that they had arrived.

When she jolted back to reality, she saw the expansive garage with no car in it. It was understandable. After all, no one had been living here for ages except the people hired to maintain the place.

"I guess I will have to work hard to fill this place up in the future!" she said softly as she observed how big the garage was.

’How nice it would be if the manor was in Frin!’ she lamented inwardly.

Just by the garage, she could tell that this place was going to make her feel complicated.

She didn’t want to stay in the capital city, actually. The roots were quite deep and complicated and she hated complicated things.

Her roots were in Frin, and leaving that place to start afresh here would drive her crazy.

She didn’t want to leave such a beautiful house empty again, so what could she do?

’Let’s take a look around and then think about it later!’ she decided as she alighted from the car.

Meanwhile, outside a huge and luxurious castle which spanned over half of the land, a middle-aged man stood with his back straight and beside him, two neat rows of maids dressed in black and white stood respectfully with their eyes looking towards a certain building which was a few hundred metres from where they stood.

"You are not allowed to make any mistakes. The mistress will be coming any moment soon. you better not embarrass me!" reminding sternly for the umpteenth time, the middle-aged butler stated.

The maids didn’t utter a word, but their gazes were resolute.

While they waited, a figure emerged from the building, which was the main garage. Seeing her appearing, everyone straightened their backs, their hearts pounding as the moment of meeting finally was approaching.

Diamond saw such a setting, she didn’t know what to do, actually. However, recalling that it was her being waited upon like that, a smile crept across her face.

The feeling of receiving such care didn’t sound bad at all. Thinking about at home she had Janet to serve her alone, the comparison made her feel abashed.

After picking up her space as she took around the top of the mountain, her satisfaction towards the place increased.

The manor had a lot of halls, and all of them combined created the castle. It was more of a segmented castle.

She didn’t know what the person who built the place in the first place was thinking, but whatever his thoughts, she kind of liked them right now.

Why? One might ask, but the answer would surely drive other people crazy. But does that matter?

It didn’t actually, and that’s why she was not like other people.

Squinting her eyes happily as she felt the weight over her shoulders lessen and her dilemma sorting itself without much thought, a sincere smile blossomed on her face.

Without her knowing, she soon arrived and the group of people respectfully greeted her, making her smile widen as a result.

After the greeting, Diamond had the butler show her around, starting the tour at that moment.

The castle had twelve halls, courtyards or buildings, whatever one might call it.

There was the main garage, where she appeared from, the sports centre, which was a building where people could do their sports activities indoors, and then the other garage.

With those three, followed another building, which made Diamond exclaim in wonder how rich the previous owner must have been when constructing the castle.

It was more of a relaxation centre, however, this hall had facilities such as the main library, which didn’t have a lot of books and needed filling; theatre, gaming room, sauna, spa and lastly, a massaging parlor.

All activities which can both entertain and relax a person were placed in one space. Thankfully, the halls were quite large, making it possible for all that to be fulfilled.

The next seven halls were living quarters. With each hall having the necessary rooms required to make a house. Which was why Diamond felt that it was indeed a segmented castle with separate houses.

Only if she had taken the manor seriously and looked into more, she wouldn’t have been conflicted when she was enticed by the mountain ride.

The halls were literally the same, and she could tell that when they were constructed, they were meant for families. Rather than letting everyone live in one big house, they could separate and have a breather.

What she loved most about the castle was the main hall, the main courtyard where the owner or master was supposed to live.

It was also the place which she took a look the most. Since it was now hers, then she needed to know it better.

The hall had the main bedroom, which was very huge, with a custom-made four-post bed. It made her think that she was being taken back to ancient or medieval times.

However, the concept was very refreshing. Maybe due to her not having seen such a bed before, which was meant to be hers now, she was quite excited.

There was a huge walk-in closet, and the en-suite was another thing to be proud of as well.

There was a study, library, lounge and an open kitchen, which she didn’t think was meant to be used a lot. After all, there was an annexe which was used as the main kitchen.

Lastly, there was an additional bungalow which made the total buildings fourteen, and that bungalow was the one where all the servants lived.

In other words, so many buildings and yet no one was living in them. How much money was being spent on maintaining them without her getting anything?

Wasn’t this foolish?

After looking at everything, an idea which had struck her when she saw the segments earlier got firm in her heart.

No matter what, she was going to make sure that the plan went as she planned, though it was just an immature plan.

The place was hers, and she could do anything she wanted with it, she reassured herself.
