Chapter 331: Chapter 328: A PEACEFUL DATE

Looking at the never-ending forest, Diamond exclaimed wondrously, praising such a peaceful place wholeheartedly. "I love this place. It’s very peaceful and just makes you want to connect truly with nature!"

Kian smiled without saying a word, enjoying the scenery as well.

It’s been an hour since she ended the livestream, and her mood had calmed down after that.

Only a genuine smile was on her face, her chest no longer heaving, and the murderous aura she was emitting was long gone.

Seeing that she was at peace once again, he found the scenery more beautiful.

At least she had said it out. As for how people would respond to that, that was another issue for another day.

For today, he was going to enjoy this last date and savor it for a long. He wasn’t certain when he would be free to see her, since the workload was crazy. It took him great will to free the days he was with her, but doing it for the second time; he wasn’t certain if that would work.

The couple continued to tour around, from the farm to the garden and then to the ranch, where they saw all sorts of animals, mainly livestock, for eating.

By the time that they were done, it was time for lunch.

Kian piggybacked Diamond all the way to the villa which made Diamond giggle and act playfully, making it the most moment he endured in his life the most.

When they returned to the villa, food was prepared and ready to eat.

The couple dined on the terrace, overseeing a beautiful garden with daisies which provided a mixed-color view for them.

After lunch, the couple took some food suitable for a picnic and left for a beautiful place, which Kian knew.

Staying away from electronics and just enjoying themselves to the fullest without other crazy thoughts, Diamond found this kind of date very refreshing.

From the villa to the picnic spot, it took them an hour. When they arrived, Kian began preparing, while Diamond took photos of the place and even instructed the hard-working drone still following her diligently to record the beautiful scenery.

When Kian was done, Diamond joined him on the ground. Since they were a bit full, they didn’t touch the food.

Diamond lay on the ground, her head on Kian’s lap and her face looking upward where she could see him from the waist going upwards.

"I still can’t believe that time flew this fast!" Diamond sighed dejectedly, thinking about how they would be separated once again tomorrow.

Kian reached his hand for her forehead where he brushed away the strands of hair as he responded, "We meet to part and part to meet."

"But it still hurts. It would be nice to spend more time together!" she said sulkily, thinking of how long it would be until she had time to see Kian.

She could tell that he was busy, so meeting him as much as she wanted was impossible. Sullivan was the same as well.

His job required so much from him and she wasn’t a selfish lover, who would force someone to leave what they love just because she wanted to spend time with them.

They were lovers, and yet they got to meet a few times in a season. How pitiful they were!

"We will make it work in the future. Don’t worry. We still have years ahead of us!"

"That’s true, and we get to call each other nearly daily as well. I guess that we have to endure. One day everything will be fine!" she said, accenting his statement.

Maybe it was for the better. If they stayed together, who knows if they would get bored with each other?

Besides, rather than living together, visiting upon missing each other sounded pretty cool than being together all the time.

After being used to her freedom, could she manage to be with her lovers 24/7? She didn’t think so.

Nevertheless, Diamond wasn’t so heartless to blurt her thoughts out, so she continued with the topic, which later breached into many as time went on.

The food prepared for the picnic was quite nice and smelled pretty fragrant. The aroma kept on wafting to her nose and despite being a bit full, Diamond ended up getting tempted to eat.

They packed a roasted tomato, mushroom and basil quiche, a stuffed rainbow baguette, pork and ham pie, and an epic summer salad consisting of tomatoes, avocados, spinach, mango and cucumbers.

Instead of wine to wash down such delicious foods, they brought an assorted mix of 100% juice, which made their life much sweeter and livable.

Despite having food for a table of six, the couple enjoyed their food wholeheartedly, sweeping everything off the plates without shame.

After stuffing their bellies with so much food, the couple packed the picnic items and left them at the site before walking around to see other places as they teased and played with each other.

When it was around 4 pm, the couple started walking back to the villa, their stories never-ending. And never once did they mention Sullivan.

Diamond found it not necessary to bring another man’s name when dating her beloved. Although they were brothers, she understood their deep jealousy towards each other.

She wanted peace, and she knew pretty well how troublesome it was to have such a big family. She decided to entertain one person at a time. However, that wouldn’t be the case if they were all together in one place.

Nevertheless, something like that hadn’t happened yet. She was going to take one step at a time.

After returning to the villa, the couple didn’t have much to pack, and since they weren’t planning to sleep there, they packed their belongings and received heartfelt gifts from the staff before they left, completely satisfied.

Looking at the gifts they received from the staff, Diamond laughed heartily, finding it very hilarious and cute.

"Dear, could it be that they saw how much we love food, that they had to prepare another share for us again?" she laughed heartily as she looked at the small-sized chicken pizza in the food basket.

Looking at the pizza and several food items in one basket, Kian shook his head helplessly. What was that person trying to do by doing this?

However, he loves the gifts, since he can see how happy and satisfied Diamond was with the gift.

"Their pizza is good. It’s good we received it. Trust me!"

’Um, I will have a taste. Let’s see what else we have here!"

The time spent on the road going back to Kian’s home was spent unwrapping the gifts, admiring them, and eating the food.

When they arrived home, the food basket was empty, with most of the contents in Diamond’s belly.

Was she possessed with a gluttonous spirit?

He couldn’t help but wonder as he followed her inside the house, anticipating how beautiful the last night would turn out to be.

It should be feisty, shouldn’t it?
