SIGNING IN: BEING SHOWERED BY HEAVENLY BLESSINGS FOR FIVE YEARS -
Chapter 324 - 321: POLYGLOT
Chapter 324: Chapter 321: POLYGLOT
The next morning, Diamond yawned as she stretched her arms, her gaze on the man sleeping soundly on the bed.
Recalling how well the two of them were, she couldn’t help but flush a bit. Thank goodness her physique was strong otherwise; she would have been an embarrassment.
Since she was no longer sleepy, she rose from the bed and tip-toed to the bathroom where she vanished into the Golden Space and appeared once again a few seconds later.
Diamond felt refreshed after not just a bath but after doing a lot of work in there. It was more of an exercise session. However, in real life, she loved doing some as well.
She wore the sportswear she purchased yesterday and took her phone and earbuds before she left the house.
Going on a jog, Diamond was supposed to be listening to music, however that morning she wasn’t.
On the phone, Andrea was busy doing something that she had never thought she would hear from him in this life. The good son of hers was confessing his sins.
Honestly hearing what Andrea had been up to, she was angry for a second before she burst into laughter. To think the viewers saw all that mess. Where was she going to put her face?
Fortunately, Andrea deleted the live record from the platforms. However, he couldn’t touch all the records made by others, since by doing so he would risk exposing not just himself but also making people suspicious of Diamond.
"Fine, it’s already done but I don’t think that it’s bad. At least they weren’t that repulsive to it!" after hearing how the viewers reacted, Diamond felt relieved rather than gloomy.
{There is an issue though, that I wanted to talk to you about!} Andrea continued and his tone didn’t sound so pleasing.
Hearing that, Diamond had an inkling that this good son of hers might have more upsetting news, and she couldn’t help but wonder which kind.
"What is it? Could it be that I revealed things that shouldn’t be?" recalling how unrestrained she was with her words, she asked.
{No, it’s not like that. It’s just sometime earlier, it’s been four hours in fact, those marketing accounts made their move!}
Stopping in her tracks, Diamond exclaimed in wonder, "They did what? What did they say about me? How is the response?"
{Um. That’s where the problem lies. Somehow, details of your past emerged. Especially university.}
Upon hearing that, Diamond sneered as certain individuals popped into her mind.
"Do they have evidence?" she asked that first before trying to understand what exactly had been posted.
{I got rid of everything. So, it’s now just talk but nothing to show!} Andrea responded smugly.
Diamond hearing that, a smile blossomed on her face. "Hehe, then let them talk whatever they want. Without any physical evidence to back their accusation, I can play with them slowly."
{I have been collecting evidence on all of them.}
"That’s good then. And the response on the internet?"
{The majority doesn’t believe a single word. They are standing up for you but a few keep on cropping up!}
"Um, like who? My former classmates?"
{There are those and your former colleagues. I deleted a few photos of you as well! They came prepared, unfortunately; they don’t know I exist!}
"Heh, they dare!" Diamond was furious when she heard about former colleagues more than classmates.
Her classmates and she didn’t have a good relationship, which was something that didn’t bother her. But her former colleagues, what did she do to them for them to come at her like that?
"Who are those people?" she asked, her eyes narrowing and jaws clenching.
{I will send you the list!}
And at that moment, a message entered, and she looked at what Andrea had sent.
Looking at the list of people she used to work with, talk with and play with, Diamond’s veins popped.
"Heh, this is why finding friends is very difficult. It’s been less than a year and these people are already like this? Tsk, tsk. I will remember them!" as she glared at certain names, she declared solemnly.
If she had wronged someone, she was the type of person who didn’t mind being attacked. As she would know that she sinned against that person, whatever was coming her way was well deserved.
But what about people she used to help and considered being at least close before?
What did she do to them for them to come at her with these ghost’s accounts? Did they think that she was a pushover?
Irritated by these people, she was no longer in the mood to go on a jog anymore, so she started returning to Kian’s house.
[Ding! Do you want to sign in?]
’Sign in!’
[Ding! You have received a language skill set.]
[Ding! Please pick ten languages excluding your vernacular language.]
’What the?’ Diamond stopped in her tracks once more after hearing the reward she had received this time.
What was this about being multi-linguistic?
That was a very strange reward, very unexpected and at the same time, a very good one!
After the shock came the happiness.
Clutching her stomach as she laughed like a lunatic in the middle of the empty road, the sight was quite memorable.
{Mother, are you feeling, okay?}
"Haha, never been better, son. I am just happy!" Diamond dismissed Andrea’s words with a statement.
How could she not be happy when she was about to become a polyglot?
She who knew the Atharian language and the universal language which she wasn’t that fluent in, suddenly received such a gift when these people were busy calling her names. How can she not be happy?
Just thinking of slapping their faces and showing them how good she was pretty soon; she was over the moon!
"Don’t forget to create the links I promised those fans yesterday. Since I am in a good mood, make them six. I will sell an extra two!" she said in a reminder.
{I will work on that!}
Filled with so much energy, she ran back home, looking forward to how good the day would be.
