Chapter 300: Chapter 298: IWARIM 2

After checking herself and the people she had gotten acquainted with in the past nine months, Diamond could see that her affinity with mature and older women was much higher compared to the youths.

Fortunately, apart from that lady in Dielas, Ruth, whom she thought they were clicking pretty well, who ended up infuriating her with her moral thoughts, all of them were very good, which was comforting.

"Are you sure you don’t want me to introduce you to my son?" the older lady asked sulkily as she looked at Diamond.

Diamond chuckled helplessly at the lady who had been trying to match her with her son for a while now.

She wasn’t offended by what she was doing, instead; she was quite pleased with herself.

It is very rare for mothers to find partners for their children nowadays. To get such approval from the mother before the meeting, simply meant that she was satisfied with her, which was an appreciative thing on her side.

"Aunty, I really like you a lot, but I don’t want to deceive you. You are such a nice person and you deserve a good daughter-in-law!" looking at the woman who seemed chatty on the surface but somehow warm the more she looked at her, Diamond didn’t want to be cruel.

"What do you mean, you are not good? I have always had the best judgement among my siblings and relatives!" the woman boasted with pride, a genuine smile pasted on her face.

Diamond choked upon hearing that. Wasn’t this lady listening to what she was saying at all?

"Aunty. I really can’t meet your son. I have two boyfriends, brothers and in the future I might have more!" since the lady wasn’t listening to reason, Diamond decided to come clean.

However, when the lady heard that, she chuckled heartily instead, looking at Diamond as if she was seeing something very funny.

"You know, you don’t have to use such a trick to reject me!"

"Aunty, I am for real. If you don’t believe me, how about we meet my boyfriend together?" Diamond suggested helplessly as she looked at the lady.

If she was being pestered by the son, she would have kicked him several kilometers away by now. Unfortunately, the mother was so sweet and nice to talk to.

She wasn’t someone who loved lying to elders. They reminded her of her parents and the pain that they must have gone through because of all the deceit she caused them before.

The lady scanned Diamond once again, trying to gauge if she wasn’t playing tricks on her.

"You are really serious?"

Diamond hurriedly nodded. "Yes. I am not lying to you. I swear!"

Seeing her swearing, the woman went silent for a while before she opened her mouth once more. "If it’s true, why are you telling me this? Are you not afraid that I will judge you?" and asked curiously, confusion written all over her face.

When Diamond heard that, she couldn’t help but smile brightly at the lady, blinding the lady in the eyes that a certain determination unknown to Diamond sprouted.

"Aunty, if I didn’t like you, I would have ignored you. After all, I am not obliged to entertain you. However, you reminded me of my mother. She is very outgoing and if you guys meet, you can become good friends."

"Is it really so? Then your mother should be nice!"

"She is the most loveable woman I have seen on this planet. It’s because of her that I didn’t want to waste your time. Besides, since I am doing this openly, why should I worry about being judged?"

"You .... So, you are serious that you are dating brothers and might date more men in the future?"

"Um. It’s a dream of mine. To have a big family and have people who love me so much. And since I have money, I told myself, go out there and gather as many lovers as you can manage. So, at the moment, I have two."

"And they don’t mind this?" the woman asked, a frown appearing on her face.

"They don’t mind. Even if they do, they will be the ones walking away and not me!" with a smile on her face, not caring about what the lady was thinking, she responded nonchalantly.

The woman went silent after hearing that, and Diamond finally found peace. The woman didn’t say a word and everyone went through the screening.

Since the woman wasn’t saying anything to her again, Diamond assumed that she was just like Ruth, probably judging her, but unlike Ruth, she didn’t say anything out loud.

And since she won’t be meeting the woman ever again, Diamond simply took it as sharing her lifestyle with a stranger before walking away.

As she walked towards the exit, her eyes were busy scanning for her lover. Where was he? She couldn’t help but wonder.

{Mother, he is on your left waving at you right now!} Andrea probably feeling sorry for Diamond, provided Diamond with a clue which made her life easier.

When she looked to the left, she immediately saw Kian, and a smile blossomed on her face.

When Diamond exited the plane, she was no longer wearing the mask. Even the visor hat was nowhere to be seen. And because it was like that, her face was out in the open, making it easy for other people to look at her.

So, when she smiled at Kian, who was standing with other people waiting for their family and friends, her smile blinded a lot of people.

And maybe it was because her aura was just too noticeable, a certain someone lifted his phone and started recording silently.

Diamond’s eyes were on her lover, who was wearing a mask covering half of his face. When she thought of the reason why he needed to hide himself like that, she wanted to beat Sullivan so badly.

If only he wasn’t a celebrity, only then would Kian move freely without risking exposing too much on Sullivan.

Unfortunately, people can’t always get what they want, can they?
