"I will have your contracts made and then email them to you to sign. However, for today, Kiara, I have a job for you," with that, Diamond began to tell Kiara about the issue regarding the buildings she purchased but was still waiting for the lawyer to finish the remaining procedures.

Since she was here, she might as well just work hard on those.

Getting assignments on the same day, Kiara was happy rather than upset. Seeing Diamond assigning her a job meant that she was hired and also trusted. So why grumble?

After dealing with the ladies and welcoming them to the family, Diamond was ready to make a move.

It was the day where she was going to do a broadcast and satisfy her fans, so she wanted to get ready as soon as possible.

However, before she rose to her feet, her phone started ringing.

Diamond looked at the caller’s I.D. and, seeing the name on it, something rang in her head.

’Could it be that?’ she pondered before she tapped her ear pod to answer the call.

[Hello, is this Ms. Diamond Perry?] A male voice sounded respectful and polite from the other side of the phone.

"Um. It’s me!"

[That’s good. I am Mr. Daniel Perez from Universal Law Firm. I was wondering when you can come to the firm to finalize the transfer of shares?]

Upon hearing that, a smile dazzling to the eyes blossomed on Diamond’s face, making the three other people in the private room wonder what kind of good news Diamond had received.

"That can be done today. I am near your place. Just give me like thirty minutes," she responded.

[Okay. I will get everything ready. Do you need me to set a meeting with the management?]

"Um. Get everyone ready. I do have something very important to announce later."

[I will do so.]

The two didn’t chat for long before the call ended.

With this call, Diamond’s plans had to be changed once again.

"You two, follow me!" Diamond instructed as she stood on her feet.

Hearing that command, Nancy and Kiara both knew that it was them who were being pointed at.

So as soon as Diamond was on her feet, they followed along.

The four of them left the private room, smiles pasted on their faces.

Diamond didn’t have to pay at the till. Her bill was automatically settled since she had an account with the café.

And before leaving, she left with a cake which the team had prepared for her earlier.

As soon as the four of them were out, a crowd, though a distance away, could be seen in the parking lot.

Seeing such a commotion and a group of bodyguards looking very ferocious as if they could tear a person with bare hands, both Nancy and Kiara wondered which big boss was in the area.

After all, having such an entourage, the person shouldn’t be too simple.

"We have parked the car on that side. What about you, Miss?" Nancy said as she looked at Diamond who was also looking at the crowd.

Diamond turned her head upon hearing Nancy’s question and sighed. "My car is nearby. Just head for Universal Law Firm, first. We will follow behind!" and instructed.

Without waiting for Nancy to respond, she began to walk towards the crowd and the two seeing that looked at each other.

"It can’t be?" Kiara exclaimed as she looked at Diamond, who was now guarded by four other guards who were once in the crowd.

Nancy, seeing that, sighed helplessly before chuckling subtly, "The more time you spend around her, you will understand. It should be her. Let’s get out here and wait for her there!"

What more could Nancy say after witnessing that?

So, although Kiara was curious to know why Diamond was being guarded that heavily, she could only follow Nancy to the car and curb her curiosity.

On the other hand, Diamond was helpless as she was being led to the car. Who could have known that people would still spot and recognize her purple car despite being surrounded like that?

However, since it was already done, there was nothing more she could do. At least, Andrea seemed to have controlled the situation, otherwise the crowd could have been bigger than the one she was seeing.

While ignoring the enthusiastic people snapping photos from a distance since they didn’t dare come closer, Diamond safely entered the car.

And the spectators, seeing such a young female entering the car with those scissor doors looking elegant as they always did even on TV, went crazy as they snapped more.

As soon as she was in the car, Diamond rubbed her throbbing temples.

{Mother, I seemed to have underestimated human beings. Should I continue to block?}

"No, don’t block them anymore. As long as they don’t track us home, I am fine with anything. The more we do this, the more people get curious, and if this goes on, we might end up exposing you. I don’t want that happening."

"Um. Now let’s leave. I have a meeting to attend!" with a relieved expression on her face, she instructed.

Soon after that, Diamond and her entourage left the parking lot. The purple sports car zoomed into the streets and fifteen minutes later, she was in another parking lot.

Seeing the purple car which had already been parked, Kiara finally understood why there was drama before and why Diamond had to be guarded.

"Damn! Nancy, this boss of ours is filthy rich. Is that her car?" Kiara swore as she recognized the purple car.

Seeing Kiara’s demeanor, Nancy had an inkling that Kiara knew more about what was going on.

"Do you know that car?"

"How can I not know it? It came out on the 1st of January this year and in Athary so far, only five of these cars had been brought here. And yet our Miss owns one. How did she do it?"

"You are telling me that she owns that car?"

"If she didn’t, why would she have it?"

"That’s true. But that shouldn’t be surprising. She bought another car last week, the Cagda CV15, which was over A$10 million."

"Damn! How many cars does she own?"

"Too many to count!"

In the end, the two friends felt sour the more they talked about their boss’s wealth.

Nevertheless, they still had to follow their boss inside the firm, so they could only wear smiles on their faces as they followed.

"Miss has been working with this firm for a long time. Maybe that’s why we are here."

"It’s a good place. Not too big and not too small."

"Um. They are very professional and don’t have such things as partners. This place should be owned by one person."

"That should be good. Having a lot of people with opinions can be detrimental."

"That’s why Miss is the sole owner of all her businesses."

"She did well. We don’t need to go public. Even private enterprises can soar higher without pressure."

The two friends whispered to each other as they followed Diamond and Garnet, who were in the front.
