Chapter 275: Chapter 273: UNEXPECTED REWARD

After parting with the ladies at the restaurant, Diamond drove to Madam Sawyer’s gallery, a place she hadn’t been twice ever since the last exhibition took place.

When she arrived, she was once again wowed by the luxury taste this lady had when it came to things that she loved the most.

Looking at the gallery, Diamond couldn’t help but recall a few art pieces hidden in her safe back at home and in the storage ring.

If she were to follow Madam Sawyer and open her gallery, wouldn’t all the art she had to be appreciated better than being locked away like now?

It was a normal occurrence for people to admire and be a bit greedy whenever they come across something that they fancy. And Diamond was the same as well.

Just because she had it all didn’t mean that she was content. At times she might be lazy, but that wouldn’t make her a salted fish.

She was ambitious, which was why she was busy taking on more projects than she could chew. Fortunately, she wasn’t making any losses since she was the only investor in her companies.

If she was relying on other people, who knows how deep she would be buried underground by now?

When she arrived, she was welcomed warmly by the receptionist, who took her to Madam Sawyer’s office.

Diamond entered the gallery by herself, leaving Garnet outside who, according to Andrea, was busy dealing with the social media accounts. It was quite a lot of work to manage so many accounts, so she was on her own.

When she walked into the office, Diamond looked at the warm interior and found it very pleasing. It was welcoming and, above all, made one feel very comfortable to just be in.

"Thank you for coming all the way here!" as soon as Madam Sawyer saw Diamond, she welcomed her with a warm smile on her face.

Diamond smiled politely at the woman she didn’t interact a lot with but still respected her greatly and responded, "It’s fine. It was on the way."

Madam Sawyer beamed at her before offering her a seat.

Diamond sat across from Madam Sawyer and placed the gift bag with the order on top of the table.

"Your products are excellent. My friends can’t keep their mouths shut praising them. You really worked with someone good!" Madam Sawyer praised wholeheartedly as she looked at the bag which she knew contained what she had ordered.

Upon getting praised, how could Diamond sit still?

"Hehe. I guess lady luck truly shined on me this time. I am glad that everyone likes it!" with more money entering her accounts, how could she remain quiet?

Madam Sawyer looked kindly at Diamond; her heart satisfied to find such a hard-working rich young lady.

Although she didn’t interact a lot with Diamond, from Clarissa’s mouth and from what she had been following on social media, Diamond was a rich girl. She was probably richer than her and yet she was hard-working and didn’t put on airs like other rich girls her age.

Others would see this marketing and door-to-door service as being low but Diamond wasn’t like that.

She didn’t know who she was selling for, but whoever that person was; she was grateful that it was like that. If she hadn’t met Diamond, back then, would her life be changed?

"Anyway, Madam _"

"Call me by my name, Yolanda. It’s better that way!" as Diamond wanted to say something to Madam Sawyer, she suddenly cut her in the middle with a smile.

When Diamond, who truly didn’t like adding titles to people’s names except her parents, heard that, a genuine smile appeared on her face.

"Then I will not hold back, Yolanda," and she was very quick to act upon it.

Yolanda smiled brightly upon seeing how fast Diamond was at adapting. If it was others, they would be struggling and putting on a façade, but Diamond was different from them.

The more she sees her, the more Yolanda finds Diamond so much pleasing to the eye. Maybe getting closer to her wouldn’t be such a bad thing.

"Um. That’s good!"

Seeing Yolanda in a good mood, Diamond no longer hesitated to say what she wanted to say before Yolanda cut her.

Her like for Yolanda made Diamond who had sold a restorative salve to Kisha that morning to introduce it to Yolanda. And just like how she explained to Kisha, she didn’t do the same for the other.

And by the time she was done with her marketing, Yolanda was hooked already.

Two hours later, Diamond left the gallery with a wide smile on her face and a landscape painting in hand. A gift from Yolanda.

Taking the painting to her car, Diamond suddenly stopped in her tracks when the system appeared, asking her the same question it had been asking her for nearly ten months now.

[DING! Do you want to sign?]

It was such a lame question, but one she really liked. She would be a fool if she rejected such an offer. So, just like every single day from the day she was bound to the system, she responded as she picked up her pace to the car.

[DING! You have been rewarded with a water seed.]

’Heh!’ Diamond exclaimed inwardly as she closed the car door with surprise written all over her face.

Why did she receive another water seed?

She already received one before and the dam at the farm was functioning perfectly, which was something that was making Cain very happy since he didn’t need to worry about the rain, which was obviously not falling ever since Christmas day.

However, that wasn’t a bad thing. Having too much wasn’t a bad thing. Since she had been given another seed, why not find another use for it?

With the drought encroaching on them though other people were still ignorant, if she were to, let’s say, buy another farm and use the water seed there, wouldn’t she be able to solve another problem at hand?
