SIGNING IN: BEING SHOWERED BY HEAVENLY BLESSINGS FOR FIVE YEARS -
Chapter 267 - 265: RUBY GOES TO SCHOOL 3
Chapter 267: Chapter 265: RUBY GOES TO SCHOOL 3
Quarter past seven, the door to apartment 605 opened and in the front was a young girl wearing a pair of jeggings fit jeans and a button-up shirt with several buttons undone.
Her long hair was tied into a high ponytail showcasing her beautiful neck, which made her look like a swan.
The black and white sneakers complimented the shirt and silver jewelry she was wearing.
If a smile was on her face, then everything would be perfect. Unfortunately, she was wearing a business smile.
Following behind her was a slightly older girl wearing a pink convergence ruffle one-shoulder sheath asymmetric mini dress which made her look younger than her age.
She wore a gold phoenix crawler on her right ear and a pink diamond stud on the left ear.
There was no sign of any pendant, or necklace around her neck, but her arms were different.
Like a goddess from the myths, she wore a golden armlet on her left arm with a matching bracelet on the right wrist.
On her left wrist was a D&H watch adorned with sparkling diamonds and enough gold to make people envy for generations.
The minidress showcased her long flawless legs all the way down to her feet, which were wearing a pair of gold stiletto peep-toe pumps. The peeping toe was painted with pink polish, finishing off the gorgeous pink and gold look.
In her hand, she held a clutch and with just her appearance; it seemed as if she was headed for some red-carpet event.
Behind this one was a young girl fully dressed in bold and confident colors.
Ruby wore a sleeveless skirt overlay jumpsuit which was neither too short nor too long and a shawl to cover the shoulders from the heat.
The little girl had to be comfortable first for her to survive the day wearing the clothes.
It would be useless to dress her up and yet become the reason why she wouldn’t smile on her first day at school.
This was why Diamond eliminated some choices and ended up picking the KL jumpsuit, which was part of the new line which was released around October last year.
It was one expensive piece of clothing, which was enough to stop people from talking too much.
Being a student, Ruby didn’t need to stress herself by wearing uncomfortable shoes. As a result, a pair of white KL sneakers matched the bucket bag which had her daily essentials and accessories. And on the other hand, there was a back laptop bag which students couldn’t do without nowadays.
As for jewelry, she had red diamond studs, and that Bormuga watch survived.
With that, the three Perry sisters left the apartment only to bump into Eugene and her friend.
The first thing that came to Portia’s mind as soon as she spotted a familiar face was to scream with excitement, but her personality didn’t allow her to act in such a manner though the inner her, was saying otherwise.
However, the sparkle and twinkle in her eyes were enough for anyone who saw her that Portia was facing someone she truly liked at that moment.
"Big sis!" Eugene, being herself, called excitedly as soon as she saw the pink-dressed lady.
Diamond flashed a helpless smile at Eugene, wondering inwardly just what kind of energy bars she eats daily for her to be that way.
"Eugene!" she nodded in greeting without stopping.
"You look beautiful today, sis!" Eugene couldn’t help but praise sincerely as her mind struggled to calculate how much Diamond’s outfit was worth.
"Thank you and so do you!" Diamond responded to the compliment with one of her own sincerity in her eyes.
Eugene flashed a happy smile at Diamond, happy to be praised. Since it was the first day, she had done her best. She didn’t want to lose to others, though her financial situation wasn’t that good.
With Eugene and Portia joining, the chatter became loud and thanks to Eugene’s enthusiasm, Diamond finally got to know Portia, who was a hard fan of hers.
Facing such a cute and shy girl, Diamond took a selfie and a group photo with her before entering the cars.
Portia and Eugene were going to the bus stop to take the bus, which would send them directly to school since they didn’t own a car but with Diamond and Ruby having two cars, the girls ended up hiking a lift.
They took Ruby’s car and, on the way, Portia, who was now calmly bombarded Ruby with questions and Ruby did her best to answer as much as she could.
Meanwhile, Diamond inside the car was busy taking selfies and taking Garnet’s photos to pass the time.
Thirty minutes later, the two cars following each other plus several dozens of others entered the university’s massive gates.
Ruby stopped shortly after entering the gates to let Eugene and Portia off before continuing driving in the direction which led to her faculty.
Garnet drove, following behind and, on the way, the two Cagdas attracted too much attention, especially for those people who were well acquainted with cars.
To make and leave a statement, Diamond picked up the Cagda from the garage and decided to drive it for the second time ever since it was purchased.
Instead of using these SUVs people would assume look the same, going in style was what she was aiming for. And surely, the trick seemed to have worked, as she could see a lot of students with their phones aimed in her direction.
With just one move, not only was she going to become famous, but her sister was going to benefit as well.
It seemed she would have to inform Admire to increase the number of people shadowing Ruby.
Who knows if what they had done would attract robbers and kidnappers?
People weren’t to be underestimated, after all.
In the face of money, what can a woman or man not do?
Life wasn’t going pretty well for everyone. So, taking extra precautions would harm anyone. Besides, didn’t she spend a lot of millions to buy Admire’s company for the sake of safeguarding her family and herself?
The more people who are put on the job, the calmer she would be.
So, without wasting too much time, Diamond sent a text to Admire to inform him of the new instructions since procrastination wouldn’t give her anything productive results but only disappointments and regrets in the end.
Having a chance and the ability to do something, Diamond was now a person who would go all out.
She had learnt her lessons and wasn’t going to digress.
A person should learn and commit the lesson to memory, after all. Otherwise, what would be the point of having such a system and yet remain a dimwit?
