Chapter 266: Chapter 264: RUBY GOES TO SCHOOL 2

"You are here, sis! I missed you!" Ruby, unaware of what her sister was thinking about, confessed affectionately.

After not being with her sister for a couple of hours, she had missed the other so much.

"And I missed you too!" setting aside her dissatisfaction, Diamond responded earnestly.

Home wasn’t the same without Ruby. Although they didn’t spend too much time together at home for many reasons, the fact that her presence was no longer there irked her a lot.

She had to work overtime in the Golden Space to make herself forget about that, but it seemed that it was going to take a very long time for her to accept it fully.

The three of them went to Ruby’s apartment and as soon as they entered, the door was locked.

Inside, Diamond wasn’t so surprised to see that the place hadn’t been sorted out. They left late last night, so Ruby couldn’t have finished packing everything.

"Have you had breakfast yet? I just finished cooking!" Ruby asked excitedly as she led Diamond and Garnet to the dining table.

Diamond looked at her beautiful sister, who carried an eager expression on her face. Recalling how long it had been ever since she ate food prepared by Ruby, Diamond, who had eaten a bowl of millet porridge and side dishes before leaving the villa, shook her head with a straight face.

Garnet, seeing that, simply maintained her indifferent expression. It was unprofessional to expose her mistress. So, keeping quiet was the best way to go about it.

Seeing that her sister hadn’t eaten, Ruby, who had been fooled, smiled brightly as she urged the two to take their seats before serving breakfast.

For breakfast, Ruby, who didn’t like eating porridge much, decided to make a westernized breakfast. Some cereals, bread, scrambled eggs, bacon and smoked Vienna’s.

On the side were milk and juice. The table was filled with food, and Diamond could see the effort that Ruby had placed when preparing the food.

Taking in the food her baby sister had prepared, Diamond’s stomach started grumbling, cementing the lie she had stated that she hadn’t eaten.

So, in the following fifteen minutes, the three ate the delicious breakfast after taking a few snapshots of the food, of course.

Diamond wasn’t stingy with her praises and complimented as best as she could when she was eating. Ruby’s talent for cooking was much far greater than hers. That was, however, before she received the advanced cooking skills, making her far superior to Ruby now.

But if she had eaten Ruby’s food before her advanced skills, she would probably be sulking, wondering why she was always inferior to Ruby in everything.

Thank goodness it wasn’t the case any longer.

After breakfast, Diamond stopped Ruby from doing the dishes and let Garnet do them. Meanwhile, Diamond dragged Ruby to the suitcases and made a mess out of everything as she searched for outfits she could dress her baby sister in.

Attending a university which didn’t force you to wear uniforms every single day, how could a student not take advantage of that and stand out?

"Sister, you ... you don’t have to worry much about this. I have thought hard about it and am planning on wearing a uniform in the future!" seeing her sister being so serious about picking clothes, Ruby could only reveal her plans to her sister, though she wasn’t sure how Diamond would take that.

Surely when Diamond heard that, she stopped what she was doing and glared suspiciously at Ruby before asking, "And mind me asking why?"

She just couldn’t get it. With so many clothes to spare from well-known brands, why would her baby sister want to wear a damn uniform?

Ruby chuckled softly upon seeing her sister’s expression and responded, "sister. I have decided to not hide and expose myself out there. Rather than competing with others in expensive clothes, which I am sure I will beat them, blue and black and leave no competition. I want to show another side of me. So, I will wear the uniform. Wouldn’t that make me different from others!?"

Just thinking about it made Ruby so excited that she couldn’t stop once she started as she revealed her plans to Diamond.

And the more Diamond and Garnet the newly appointed manager heard of it, they both looked at Ruby with surprise and satisfaction.

Ruby’s plans were so good and very calculative as well. No one loved wearing uniforms and, in such schools, those who wear the uniforms tend to get bullied or looked down upon.

Everyone would think that they were so poor and didn’t have money to keep up with the trends. But what if it’s a student who drives a million-dollar car, wears luxurious jewelry and then the school uniform? Wouldn’t that raise flags and make people curious?

As long as that plan worked pretty well, by the end of the month, Ruby would probably be a department belle or campus belle. And rubbing on Diamond’s heat, Ruby would also become famous in her own way.

Since that was what she wanted, Diamond didn’t have any energy to denounce the little girl. So, she ended up agreeing, however one thing wasn’t changing.

For example, "I don’t care about what you plan to do next week but this week darling, you better dress up to the nines from head to toe. It’s allowed, so go out there and show it. Show them that we are sisters and leave a great impact while on it. Don’t make me lose face!"

As a result, by the time Ruby was done changing into the new outfit, she was helpless, but the satisfied smile on her face betrayed her.

Diamond sized Ruby’s new look and smiled with satisfaction.

She had done her extra best to make that happen, after all.

"Now darling, I can send you to school!"

With how she woke up early to dress beautifully, how could Ruby try to mess that up for her?
