"I will keep that to memory, sister. Don’t worry about this. I promise you!" Ruby promised her sister earnestly, knowing that if she didn’t, Diamond wouldn’t calm down.

Diamond heaved a sigh of relief surely upon hearing that.

"Good then and also, you might be implicated in today’s matters. So do what you think is the best for you. Whether to let the world know about you or to hide. I can make it so that no one would find who you are, but you are young and definitely wouldn’t want that. So, think about it and see what you want!" Diamond felt her temples throbbing as she recalled the issue of Ruby being implicated in what happened today.

As many people had shot videos and snapped photos of them, it was inevitable that her face was already known by a lot of people by now.

If Ruby were to be harassed by other people because of it, her fans would surely taste fresh blood. She was scared about that.

Ruby, however, smiled at her, her expression at ease.

"Don’t worry, big sis. Rather than hiding, I might as well just let myself out there. Didn’t you say that you will have people protecting me? Besides, with everyone knowing that I am your sister, I don’t think that anyone will harbor any thoughts about me. With how rich my sister is, people will think twice!"

Ruby understood some rules of society. People tend to bully the weak and fear the mighty.

Diamond was known for being rich and offending such a person, whether she is old or new money, wouldn’t be wise. Who would dare try that?

Besides, once people see her with Clarissa in the future, wouldn’t tongues be wagging again?

When Diamond heard that, a smile blossomed on her face. Relieved to see that Ruby wasn’t disheartened or burdened by what she had brought on her.

"Hehe, that’s true. This big sister will hold the sky for you. So just enjoy your time at school, okay?"

When Diamond left the studio apartment, Ruby was left to herself.

Rather than going to sleep right away, Ruby began to unpack a few suitcases, which she would be using that week.

Since most of the time that day was spent doing other things, she no longer had any time to spare for seriously packing and assorting her clothes and other things.

By the time she was done, it was around eleven at night, but she wasn’t sleepy yet.

So, after a night shower, Ruby lay on her bed with her phone in hand as she browsed the internet, or rather Ioniq, where the most fun was.

Ruby’s joy on Ioniq was brought by checking her sister’s page and seeing what was happening. Her sister’s fans were truly something else.

After all, their enthusiasm and eagerness towards Diamond were unexpected. Her sister’s presence online wasn’t as magnificent as other socialites she always sees on the net.

Ever since her sister started on the journey of being an e-celebrity, it was probably a month if they exclude the time when she went a bit viral after her photos of walking the red carpet spread in the capital.

She had done around two broadcasts and the rest’s been her posting photos and it was something done now and then and not frequent.

Of course, there was the issue of her giving away money before, which probably attracted a lot of fans. But apart from that, if she were to really think exactly what these fans like her sister for, it still remained a mystery.

And that was even more so when she saw the posts about that day with the fans who managed to get selfies and autographs blowing the page.

While scrolling through the page, Ruby came across the pinned links, which were probably done by Garnet.

She was literally surprised when she found out that Garnet was now Diamond’s manager.

No wonder why her sister did that surprise fan signing event. Garnet had taken the role of a manager and, as a manager, she would do everything to let her star prosper and fly higher.

Knowing that Ruby was certain that she would be seeing so much of Diamond in the future, which would be good. Even her parents wouldn’t have to worry just in case Diamond gets so busy that she wouldn’t have time to check on them.

The pinned links were quite interesting. Ruby didn’t have a single clue that her sister’s social media accounts would increase from roughly two to nearly ten in just one day.

Seeing the variety of accounts there, Ruby became busy once more until two in the morning.

Ruby, as a huge fan of her sister, was always supportive of whatever her sister wanted to do.

So, since her sister was going to try her career on other platforms, she also followed long and registered her own accounts and immediately followed.

She was surprised and baffled, however, when she saw the number of followers on the numerous accounts which didn’t have any content except Diamond’s photo, which was set as the profile.

To think that even the gaming account, which she doubted her sister would be using much since she had never seen her before playing any game, had more than ten thousand followers. Who does that?

And as for Acebook, that was even more hilarious. Her sister’s Ioniq account had nearly six million followers, with hundreds of thousands of followers gained in just one day. Or in a few hours, to be exact.

And yet on Acebook, a global social media platform which untired people from all continents and countries without a single ban imposed on individuals, with only a profile picture and a cover, the account had amassed over one million followers in just one day,

Seeing all that greatness, Ruby was once again awed by her sister. And somehow was tempted to follow in her steps.

After all, who said that getting fame was so bad?

She wasn’t a child and didn’t mind attracting attention here and there.

Besides, didn’t her sister promise to hold the sky for her?

Rather than having other people use her to gain fame, she might as well strike first.

With that thought in mind, Ruby went to sleep that morning, with a bright future painted brightly in her mind.
