Garnet, on the other hand, was very touched. She was an intelligent being and just because she had been created a while ago, didn’t mean that she was still a child.

Her memories were intact and finding a family who were so warm and accepting like that, she felt that the new change that happened to her wasn’t bad after all.

Only if her brothers and sisters could have had such a chance to meet such an open-hearted mistress to serve. Wouldn’t their calamity be solved like that?

Diamond had no idea that her super bodyguard had her own mind and simply introduced Garnet and Ruby to each other.

Since the two were in the same age range, they quickly got close to each other. Something that made Diamond feel at ease.

With the girls both catching up, she chased them both to the kitchen, where she ordered them to prepare a hearty meal.

At least while cooking, they would be doing something meaningful.

Seeing her sister doing what she loves the most, delegating instead of doing her work personally, Ruby patted Garnet’s shoulder in earnest.

"You need to get used to this. Unless there is a special event happening, sister won’t even lift her fingers!" Ruby said complainingly, but Garnet could hear the doting in her tone.

"She is the big sister, as the young ones, we need to serve her!" Garnet smilingly said as her hands moved fast while chopping the vegetables.

"That’s true. And when I am gone, serve her well!" Ruby reminded.

"Don’t worry, I will do so," she promised.

With Ruby and Garnet in the kitchen, Diamond left the living room and went to her bedroom, where she automatically vanished into the Golden Space.

It would take a while before the food would be ready for serving, so she decided to use that time to harvest some of the crops that had matured.

With time flowing differently from outside, Diamond worked diligently inside like a master farmer.

If anyone had seen her working so hard like that, they wouldn’t have known that she had never done such tiring work before. Especially the kind that would require her to play with mud. How could her doting parents allow her to play dirty like that?

However, there she was, looking at the corn that was not only big but sturdy. And seeing all that, she couldn’t help but smile genuinely, happiness filling her to the brim.

Inside her space, she had planted not only corn but potatoes and other kind of vegetables.

She spent quite a long time inside harvesting and when the whole field was clear; she took a bath using the lake water before exiting the space.

When she returned, she wasn’t surprised to see that it had been an hour and so minutes since she was gone.

Diamond changed her clothes since the ones she was wearing were stinking and unsuitable to wear any longer.

After a change of clothes, she checked her phone and replied to several messages before heading back downstairs, where she couldn’t wait to have her first meal with Garnet.

She was looking forward to seeing an artificial human being eating.

And as she watched Garnet eating her naughty side couldn’t help but ponder whether Garnet could also do number two.

Was it really possible?

Sensing a probing gaze from Diamond, Garnet couldn’t help but have an inkling that whatever Diamond was thinking about her wasn’t good.

However, she couldn’t ask her superior why she was looking at her like that. As a result, Garnet concentrated on her food and let Diamond do whatever she wanted.

It wasn’t like there was anything she could do at that point.

Dinner passed not so peacefully since Garnet was a bit disturbed by Diamond’s unending, probing gaze.

However, when the meal ended, Diamond didn’t linger with the two young girls, so Ruby and Garnet were once again left behind to finish the chores for the night.

After finishing the dishes, Ruby took Garnet to the room Diamond had told her to settle Garnet.

And just like any other bedroom in the villa, the room was furnished, and all that was missing was a set of changing clothes and daily necessities.

Fortunately, Diamond had promised to buy Garnet what she needed the next day when they would be out to purchase furniture for Ruby.

Having a new friend in the house, Ruby didn’t go early to sleep but chatted happily with Garnet.

On the other hand, Diamond was at ease knowing that Garnet was with Ruby, so she was free to continue with her hard work.

Diamond changed into another set of overalls and flashed into the space where she resumed where she stopped before.

For the next few days inside the space, Diamond was busy planting a new round of crops, watering them and making sure that everything would be fine once she was out.

It took a lot of effort, however, as she personally dug and planted every seed, she also appreciated the hard work farmers always put in for everyone to have food on their table.

Besides, with her working diligently like that, her character was also being sharpened.

Every time she raised a hoe and dug into the land; she was reminded that she was just like any other people out there. She has a lot of money and yet there was nothing she could do except use her hands to work so that there would be food for her to eat.

With all the hard work done, she observed the barn where all the harvest was generously stored.

Seeing so much food that had yet to be consumed, Diamond felt like an achiever.

’No one will be going hungry with me around!’ she swore with a solemn expression.

Diamond got refreshed and flashed back into her bedroom.

Seeing that it was around two in the morning, she yawned helplessly before dozing to bed as soon as her head hit the pillow.

She was so dead tired, and a good night’s rest would suffice.
