Chapter 214: Chapter 212: GARNET

"My lady!" Garnet greeted respectfully as soon as she appeared, her head bowing lightly and her voice very pleasing to the ear.

"Garnet, welcome. And be at ease, just call me big sister," Diamond affectionally said as she looked at Garnet who she had created.

If she were to think too much about it, Garnet would have to actually call her mother, since she was the one who brought her to life.

However, she already had Andrea as a son and having such a grown-up girl as her daughter would arouse suspicion.

Garnet raised her head and looked at Diamond with confusion before it sank in.

"Yes, Big sis. Garnet will follow your instructions," Garnet responded with a faint smile on her face.

Diamond was happy to see that Garnet was very fast to adapt to situations.

"That’s good then. Let me take you home and on the way, I will fill in with what you will need to do for me from here going onwards!"

"Yes, sis!"

Looking at the obedient Garnet sitting on the passenger seat as she drove, Diamond couldn’t help but be proud of her achievements.

If only Ruby was obedient like Garnet, wouldn’t she be more at ease?

On the way back home, Diamond told Garnet everything that she should know about her and her family.

She even introduced Garnet to Andrea. She trusted Garnet since she was the one who created her in the first place. And just like Andrea, Garnet was bound to her, so being wary of being betrayed was not a thing.

Andrea and Garnet got along perfectly well. Maybe it was because somehow, they were both from out of this world and advanced beings. But listening to them as they discussed some things she could barely understand, she decided to just be grateful that everything was going perfectly well.

It was around seven at night when they arrived home. After honking at the security guards on duty, Diamond drove in with a smile on her face.

When she arrived home, she parked the car in the garage and urged Garnet out of the car.

As soon as she was out, the door to the garage, the one that connects the garage to the house, opened and an excited little girl emerged.

"Sister, you are back!" Ruby enthusiastically exclaimed upon setting her eyes on a Diamond she hadn’t seen the whole day.

Seeing her little sister like that, Diamond smiled dotingly at her.

"It seems that someone missed me!" Diamond said teasingly as she opened her arms.

Ruby wanted to scoff, but for a second, she hesitated before she plunged herself into her sister’s embrace. She was going to miss a lot once school started.

"Um, you just left without saying a word!" she said complainingly as she raised her head.

Seeing her sister sulking like that, Diamond ruffled the other’s hair as she said apologetically, "Sorry, dear. I didn’t want to disturb your sleep!"

Ruby grimaced for a second before she said, "I forgive you and _" However, she stopped halfway as the sound of the boot closing attracted her attention.

"Bang!"

Ruby’s gaze shifted to the car. With her sister standing here, who would be closing the boot? She wondered as she looked that way.

However, when she saw a girl similarly her age with a familiar appearance, she couldn’t help but pull away from Diamond as she scanned the two.

"Sister, this .... Could it be Dad had a child out of wedlock and you found her?" Ruby asked in a whisper, afraid of being heard by the young girl wearing a black suit.

"Pft~!" upon hearing that, Diamond laughed heartily, finding Ruby’s thoughts to be very wild.

Seeing her sister laughing at her like that, Ruby felt indignant. How could she laugh at her like that without clarifying what was going on?

"Sister ... you .... Why are you laughing?" she angrily asked.

Diamond wiped her teary eyes, her jaws painful from all the laughing.

"Darling, how can you suspect Dad like that? If he hears you, he will be sad!" Diamond tearfully said as she looked at Ruby with disbelief.

Upon hearing that, Ruby heaved a sigh of relief. As long as it wasn’t her father’s illegitimate daughter, she didn’t mind if Diamond laughed at her.

"Then who is she?" Ruby ignored her sister’s playful expression and asked curiously.

Diamond wiped the tears streaming down her cheeks with a smile on her face and answered, "Help her carry the vegetables inside. I will formally introduce you inside!" before walking away.

Ruby disbelievingly looked at her sister, who literally walked away, leaving everything outside for them to bring, and felt her temples throb.

Can’t she also carry one bag and go?

However, she couldn’t say that out loud, as her sister might overhear her. So, she smiled sheepishly at the newcomer before walking over to carry the remaining bags on the ground.

Looking at the young girl, who looked somehow familiar to them and yet didn’t at the same time, Ruby urged the other as she walked away.

"Please, follow me. Sister will complain if we are late!" Ruby told Garnet.

When Garnet saw Ruby walking away, she also started following behind. As a bodyguard, she needed to ensure her mistresses’ safety first. Which was she waited for Ruby to go first before she did?

Inside the house, Garnet followed Ruby and placed the chickens in the kitchen just like Ruby before following her to the living room where Diamond sat cross-legged on the white carpet, holding her phone.

As soon as the two girls were seated, Diamond raised her head to look at the two.

"Ruby, that’s Garnet Perry. Your new sister and also my personal bodyguard. She will be responsible for my safety when I am outside and for our safety when we are home. We are her family, so treat her well. If you have other things you don’t understand, don’t hesitate to ask her. She is very intelligent, even more than your sister. She ....." Diamond decided to say everything at once lest she was asked again.

The more Ruby heard about Garnet, the more curious she became about her.
