Chapter 194: Chapter 192: MEETING THE FAMILY

After watching the movie that scared Diamond in the final moments, Diamond still braced herself as she drove Kian to her home.

On the way, to make Kian feel at ease and not show too much effect the movie had on her, Diamond didn’t forget to resume her tour guide duties.

Around six in the evening, Diamond drove into the villa’s yard with a smile on her face.

"Welcome to my humble abode!" she said smilingly as the huge villa kept on nearing.

Kian smiled relievedly when he saw that they were finally at home. When he recalled how Diamond had been acting weird after watching that part of the movie, he had been worried.

Although that part didn’t resonate well with him as he still didn’t understand what was special about it, he knew perfectly well that it had left a great impact on Diamond.

And all he wanted to see was her being happy. Now when she was smiling, he could finally be at ease.

The couple exited the car and while Kian was busy getting his suitcases out of the car, Diamond stood by the car as she looked at her man with a smile.

While the two were in their world, Ruby who had been keeping a lookout waiting for her sister to return and see finally the lover she had adamantly refused to say anything about back then, ran out of the villa with a grin on her face.

Although she hadn’t seen her brother-in-law’s face, she had this inkling that the man was quite handsome. Her sister was definitely picky. She had seen a lot of men hitting on her and yet the gaze she gave them was very disturbing.

She didn’t know how high her sister’s standards were but considering how rich her sister was, Ruby believed that the men that Diamond chose wouldn’t be ordinary.

"Sister!" without caring about how her sister would scold her for being impulsive Ruby called out cheerfully as she skipped towards her sister’s car.

Diamond’s attention shifted from Kian who had finished taking the suitcases out of the boot to her sister who just could sit still inside the house with a smile on her face.

"I see you!" she couldn’t help but say before shuddering a little as she recalled that horror movie from earlier.

’Is it really going to torment me?’ she wondered while maintaining a smile on her face as she looked at her baby sister.

"Hehe, I have been waiting restlessly!" Ruby said shamelessly as she took a peek at the man wearing a mask walking towards them.

She couldn’t help but wonder just what was special about him for her sister to agree to let their parents see him.

Diamond chuckled softly at her sister before looking at Kian who was now standing by her side with his suitcases by his side.

"Dear, meet my baby sis, Ruby! And Ruby, meet your brother-in-law, Kian!" she made the introductions simply without adding any spices.

With the first phase of introductions done, Ruby excitedly stretched her hand towards Kian who still was wearing a mask.

"It’s nice meeting you finally, brother Kian!" she genuinely said as she was happy to meet one of her sister’s famous lovers.

Kian stretched his hand towards the small hand and politely shook it with a smile on his face.

"It’s a pleasure to see you in person, Ruby!" Kian felt blessed to be the first to see Diamond’s family.

"Hehe. I am glad that my sister didn’t forget about me!" she said grinningly as she winked at Diamond who shook her head helplessly.

"Let’s go inside!" Diamond urged before walking away.

Ruby looked at her sister with disbelief.

How could she just walk away without even giving a hand? But that was her sister again.

"Let’s get inside. Mom and Dad are waiting!" she politely told Kian before walking together as they followed Diamond.

"Thank you."

"It’s nothing big and don’t think too much. My sister is ...."

"Hehe, I know her, she can’t be stressed and definitely doesn’t like heavy lifting!" Kian chuckled softly as the image of a lazy Diamond emerged in his head.

Ruby felt relieved hearing that. She didn’t want Kian to misunderstand her sister or think that she wasn’t caring. Diamond was the best sister ever. At the same time, she also didn’t want to misunderstand that she was a green tea b*** who wanted to cause harm to her sister.

"I am glad that you know that."

With Ruby accompanying Kian, Kian was at ease as he entered the house.

When Belinda and Richard saw Diamond entering the house alone, they began to wonder what was wrong with their child.

"Darling, where is he?" Belinda asked curiously seeing no one following.

Diamond flashed a grin at her mother as she threw herself on the couch.

"Relax Mom! He is with Ruby. Let him get acquainted with her."

"Oh! Why are you ditching your responsibilities to your little sister?" Belinda couldn’t believe her daughter at all.

Wasn’t she supposed to bring her boyfriend to them instead of letting the little one does the job?

What if ....? She didn’t want to think that far.

However, before she could reprimand her daughter again, Ruby’s laughter echoed as she walked in with a tall man behind her.

Diamond looked at her man who seemed to be getting along well with her sister and felt at ease. She couldn’t keep on sheltering him. He should be at ease to be alone with her parents or her little sister.

Unlike other sisters who would be wary of their little sisters snatching their boyfriends and scheming behind their backs, Diamond wasn’t worried about that.

If her lovers could be tempted by her little sister and cheat on her, then they weren’t meant for her.

If he was meant to be hers, then even if a naked succubus or siren stood in front of him, nothing would happen.

Instead of being wary of her siblings and living with stress and suspicions all the time, being carefree was the best.

Besides, she wasn’t at that stage where if a man cheats on her she would go crazy. If he gets tempted and gets taken away, she will just replace him with another one.

However, for her sister, she would just strip her of everything she had given her. Why would she raise an ungrateful wolf or a two-headed snake?

In other terms, it could be considered that Diamond was testing those two. She just hoped that they wouldn’t let her down.

"Mom! Brother-in-law is here!" Ruby cheerfully informed her mother with twinkling eyes.

Belinda looked at her youngest with a smile before looking at the man, who still wore a mask but standing respectfully and politely.

Seeing that everyone was present, Diamond turned her head to look at Kian and her parents.

"Dear! Meet my mother and father!" she coolly introduced in a relaxed manner before continuing. "And dear parents, that’s your son-in-law, Kian," with a smile on her face.

Belinda and Richard looked at their daughter helplessly.

Was that how introductions were done nowadays?

Kian stifled his laughter upon seeing how Diamond was relaxed and acting nonchalantly like that.

However, he didn’t want to make his in-laws feel uncomfortable, so he hurriedly spoke, covering for his woman.

"Mom and Dad, it’s nice to finally meet you. I have heard so much about you!"

As they say, if you aren’t shameless enough, you won’t get to eat a bite.

That was what Diamond felt as she looked with a stunned expression upon hearing what Kian had just addressed to her parents.

"Haha! Young man, I like you!" However, Richard seemed to think otherwise as he looked proudly at the man that her daughter had chosen.

Kian felt relieved seeing that his gamble had worked. Calling them Aunt and Uncle was doable. However, who knows if they would ever get married so that he might address them more intimately?

So rather than going in a roundabout way, he would rather go straight and just hit the iron whilst it’s hot.

Besides, he only has Diamond in his heart, so calling them like that was only right.

Even Belinda had a smile when she heard her daughter’s man calling her like that. At least it showed that he was taking things seriously and wasn’t playing.

"Welcome to our home. Please take a seat and don’t mind Diamond. She can get a bit lazy at times!" Belinda cheerfully exposed her daughter.

Since it had already come to this, what would be the point in hiding her daughter’s true colors?

When Kian, Ruby, and Richard joined Diamond where she was sitting, she was still in a trance wondering what had just happened.

Kian, as soon as he was seated, removed the mask. He didn’t want to be seen as being rude by wearing it when all the danger was no longer there.

Ruby was waiting eagerly for that moment, so when he saw the face that she had been curious about, she exclaimed loudly in excitement, shocking Belinda, who was stirring the last pot in the kitchen.

"OMG! You ... are you ... you look exactly like Vanlli!" Ruby stuttered as she looked at the familiar face that resembled one of her idols.
