Chapter 192: Chapter 190: A DATE

Kian, being the gentleman he was, asked for her hand, which she happily gave before the two were hooking arm in arm.

"So, what are we doing here?" he asked curiously as he followed where Diamond wanted him to go.

"I am famished. Let’s pad our stomachs with some food and then have fun!" she responded quickly, without thinking much.

Upon hearing that, he couldn’t help but look at her with raised eyebrows.

"Dear! Aren’t we going to see your parents early?" he couldn’t help but wonder.

Diamond chuckled softly as she raised her head to look at the man who was taller than her.

"It’s not like they will run away! Have a date with me first and we will go! Besides, if we go now, are you sure that you can handle the fire until night comes?" she asked teasingly as she thought of her shameless little sister.

Her parents might take it slow, but that didn’t mean that Ruby would let such a chance pass her by without doing anything.

Her family members had never seen her lovers before, so she could already picture how chaotic it would be later.

When he heard her asking that, he couldn’t help but contemplate.

After a short moment of brief silence, Kian responded, "I think we should have our date first."

Diamond grinned happily upon hearing that. "That’s good!"

With him on the same page as her, Diamond didn’t forget her job as a guide as she happily told Kian all about the mall that they had stopped at.

Diamond picked a less crowded restaurant. It was a bit expensive and probably didn’t get a lot of customers, considering how there were six customers when she and Kian walked in.

As soon as they entered, a uniformed waitress approached them before starting to serve them.

With the waitress’s guidance, Diamond and Kian picked a table in the corner without any people. She wanted some peace and quiet for her morning date. And to avoid others from mistaking Kian for Sullivan, Diamond had to be careful.

Diamond and Kian both ordered their food before the waitresses respectfully left the two of them.

With the other gone, Diamond’s mischief suddenly returned.

"Pose for me! Want to take a few shots!" she instructed Kian as she fished her phone from the small bag.

Seeing her like that, Kian didn’t reject her but did as she wished. Besides, he would also be gaining in this case. The two of them didn’t have a lot of photos together.

Except for the others he downloaded online when he escorted her to the reunion, he didn’t have anything else.

Even Sullivan had nothing with him. So, with her taking such an initiative, it could be said that he had benefited earlier than Sullivan.

So, while they waited for food, Diamond acted without care, being playful as she took several selfies, portraits like an excited little girl.

As for the people constantly being attracted by Diamond’s naughtiness and her beauty, Kian simply pushed it out of his mind.

So, what if he is jealous or overprotective? It’s not like he would be able to lock her up so that only he and his brother could see her.

Diamond wasn’t a golden canary that needed to be caged. She didn’t seem like the kind that would love to be caged. She was a free bird, a woman with her opinions and one who stood firmly with her beliefs.

Otherwise, why would she be so bold to reveal her preferences to the two of them?

And he loved that about her.

If Kian wasn’t interested in her back then, and she had told him about her preferences, he didn’t know actually what he would have done. After all, it’s not an easy thing for a man to accept that his woman would be with other men.

As much as men can go out frolicking with others, for women, it was very rare, though all sorts of relationships were starting to come out now.

As much as the knowledge of sharing affected him a bit, he was still glad that she was honest with him and let him and his brother know about what they would be getting themselves into if they ever wanted to pursue a relationship with her.

Now all that he and his brother needed to do was to leave a deep imprint in her heat. That way, whoever comes in the future wouldn’t be able to shake their positions in her heart.

Fifteen minutes later, the food finally arrived. Diamond politely thanked the hardworking young waitress, making her blush as she left.

With the food spread on the table, Diamond didn’t forget to take a few photos.

Kian watched smilingly without interrupting her fun.

Diamond, who hadn’t uploaded anything on her Ioniq account for a few days now, posted the food without any caption.

She didn’t dare expose the name of the restaurant or show anything that might be traced.

She was afraid of people’s detective skills. If they were to pinpoint where she was exactly, wouldn’t she be in trouble?

after uploading the photos, she logged out and looked at Kian with that, ’Let’s dig in,’ look.

"When we finish here, let’s visit the museum, have some snacks, and then watch a movie before going home. What do you think?" as she dug into her food, she shared the plans for the day with Kian.

"I will follow whatever you want. You know this place much better than me, anyway. Besides, as long as I get to spend more time with you, I can even lie under a tree with you just talking!" he said smilingly as he picked up his fork.

Diamond beamed upon hearing that.

"You said it!"

"Don’t worry. I am not someone that goes back on my words!" he said while shrugging his shoulders.

Grinning happily after hearing that, she told the man, "I know, dear. I know."

The two started eating their food harmoniously as they chatted about all sorts of interesting things. Their table was filled with harmony that once in a while, the others would take a peek at them.

Unfortunately for them, they were unable to see Kian’s face as Diamond had made sure that he was facing the wall and with how there weren’t a lot of tables exposing him that much, only Diamond could be spotted clearly.

The couple were both good eaters, and they didn’t hesitate to show that. After all, food in that restaurant was expensive, though, for rich people like them, it wasn’t that much.

When they were done, Kian paid for the meal while Diamond just watched.

Since she had a lover, why would she pay for a meal?

At that time, Kian had already worn his mask back so the curious people failed once again to identify the man.

The couple left arm in arm from the restaurant, with Diamond giving threatening glares to the two women who kept on stealing glances at her man.

Despite not seeing his face, those lecherous women somehow just couldn’t sit still and kept on trying to look at what was hers.

Kian pretended to not see what Diamond was up to, but he felt very satisfied in his heart.

His position in her heart was indeed special, and that’s all that matters.

If a girl didn’t like a boy, what was the point of being jealous of the other?

After leaving the restaurant, Diamond was literally hanging onto Kian’s body without a care for the world. As for being recognized, at that moment, she wasn’t thinking about it.

She was just openly dating her lover and having a great time.

With breakfast eaten, Diamond didn’t waste time but took Kian to the town’s museum.

Although museums weren’t interesting considering that the place was filled with relics and historical notes on this and that, Diamond wanted Kian to know more about the place where she grew up. And what better place to catch up quickly than a museum which was free to explore?

It took them a while as they stopped there and there while absorbing the information.

For Diamond, who hadn’t visited the museum after finishing primary school, she was also learning alongside Kian.

With the trip to the museum finished Diamond stopped at a TFC driveway and purchased two box meals with juice.

The couple didn’t sit inside the restaurant but enjoyed their box meals in the parking lot of the particular mall they were going to that afternoon.

The two enjoyed their chips and chicken with gusto and when they were done, they got rid of any smell on them before heading out.

To make it fair, Kian forced Diamond to wear a mask, too. As much as he enjoyed being envied by other men out there, the fact that his woman might attract a lot of bees made him feel uneasy.

As a result, Diamond covered that pretty face of hers, although people could still perceive that the two of them were a godly pair.

Some things couldn’t be hidden. That’s how it was.
