SIGNING IN: BEING SHOWERED BY HEAVENLY BLESSINGS FOR FIVE YEARS
Chapter 186 - 184: PROUD LIKE A PEACOCK

Chapter 186: Chapter 184: PROUD LIKE A PEACOCK

"This .... Mrs. Perry, your child, it’s a girl?" one of the three couldn’t help but ask baffled.

Belinda turned to look at the three she had somehow gotten close with. With just the five of them remaining inside, the best they could do to forget what was happening outside was to get along together.

"Um. My babies are both girls!" Belinda said proudly as her heart was overwhelmed with warmth and sweetness.

The three were quite surprised. They weren’t expecting that at all.

"Dear, let us all go inside. You wouldn’t want to keep darling waiting for long, would you?" Richard suddenly cut the conversation before it went elsewhere.

From the way his wife was acting, he could tell that the other was about to spread her feathers like a peacock. As much as that was something that he also enjoyed watching, the timing wasn’t right.

Belinda turned to look at her husband and gave him an apologetic smile.

"Okay, you heard him. Let’s go!" Belinda added as she placed her hand in her husband’s hand.

Richard nodded at the three people behind him, and shortly everyone was leaving the building.

Richard held his wife’s handbag over her head so that her hair wouldn’t get wet. As for the bag, they would just buy a new one.

As for the other three, they simply covered their heads with their hands as they followed hurriedly behind the two.

As they were arriving, the door to the bus suddenly opened, folding itself and revealing Diamond who was sitting on the driver’s seat wearing a grin.

"Darling!" when Belinda saw her daughter looking just fine, she called happily.

Diamond smiled brightly at her mother, her eyes sparkling with happiness.

"Mom! There you are!"

"Um. Did you travel safely?" Belinda asked as she scanned her daughter after entering.

"Mom, let’s talk about that later. The others still need to get inside!" Diamond could only helplessly dismiss her mother upon seeing how the other three didn’t have room to get inside.

When Belinda heard that, she looked at the three apologetically before moving a bit so that they would also enter.

Diamond smiled knowingly as she saw that. While the three entered, Diamond turned to her parents.

"You two, just go and chill in the bedroom. Keep yourself warm there. We will talk more later when we are in the clear!" Diamond instructed her parents.

"Oh!" upon hearing that, Belinda exclaimed in surprise.

She hadn’t looked around the bus when she entered it. Her focus was on her daughter, so how could she know that the bus was different from what she was expecting?

"You can explore later!" Diamond hurriedly chased her parents, especially after seeing the inquisitiveness in their eyes.

"Hehe. Okay, we will talk about this later!" Belinda sternly said before she started walking towards the back.

As she walked around, she couldn’t help but admire the luxury that she was seeing.

With her mother and father gone, Diamond looked at the three people who had followed her parents.

"You guys, where do you stay? I will do my best to drop you off as long as the roads are fine!" Diamond smilingly inquired.

"This .... Thank you for doing this for us!" the elderly one expressed his gratitude as he looked at Diamond.

Diamond nonchalantly waved her hand and said, "This is nothing. As a youngster, I should be doing this."

After a few pleasantries, Diamond finally knew where she would be dropping the three. Fortunately, it wasn’t far, and the roads were better and buses could use them.

She settled the three in the lounge. As for their awkwardness, as they sat on such comfortable sofas with their wet clothes, she didn’t take it to mind.

With everyone on board, Diamond left the driving to Andrea once again. There was a shield that hid the driver from the rest of the bus, so she wasn’t worried about the strangers at all.

When the bus started moving, Belinda was still in awe as she felt amazed by the level of luxuries she was seeing.

"Dear, where do you think our darling got this bus from?" Belinda asked curiously as her toes caressed the fluffy carpet that was on the floor.

"Does it matter where she got it from? Once she is ready to reveal it all, we only need to wait!"

Belinda sighed softly upon hearing that.

As a mother, there were several things that she was fully aware of. Their daughter had a lot of secrets and whatever she was hiding was probably very serious.

She had heard so much about cryptocurrency. In fact, she took an interest in it after hearing how her daughter earned so much from it.

But the more she listened and saw the riches that her daughter had, the more she felt that things weren’t as simple as Diamond was saying.

However, at the same time, she knew well that her daughter wasn’t someone who would do anything illegal.

So just as what her husband had just said, she would wait until she was ready to tell them.

Nevertheless, as a mother, she couldn’t help but be proud as she thought of how successful her daughter had become.

Those that had mocked and laughed at them for birthing two daughters and spoiling them rotten, weren’t they hurting now that she and her husband were bathing in luxury?

So, what if they had sons? Her daughter was comparably much better than them?

Her daughter alone already was giving her two sons. Who knows how many more sons, Diamond would bring in the future?

With the way Diamond was adamant about getting herself a harem to the extent of being open to them from the beginning, Belinda was very confident that her daughter would be stopping at two.

She was the kind that wouldn’t stop until the number was just big enough. She had the capital to do so and as a mother; she was going to support.

She was going to be the first Atharian mother to have several sons-in-law. How beautiful that would be?

Diamond, on the other hand, checked the news article online as Andrea continued to drive.

The rain had already caused a lot of damage, and it was quite disheartening. Especially when she thought of how this rain would be the last one for a while.

If it was going to rain for a long time, then the news of the drought wouldn’t have been published.

Knowing how much people would be suffering in the next two years, Diamond felt complicated.

For those farmers who would rejoice that rain was finally coming and waste their seeds to plant only to be slapped by the harsh reality and hot sun, Diamond’s intestines were already churning.

But it’s not like she could do anything. The only thing she could do was continue farming and hoarding food and once things started getting awry, she would step in and do her best to contribute to society.

It didn’t take long before Diamond dropped the three people that had tagged along. After receiving their endless gratitude, Diamond resumed her journey once more.

After driving for nearly an hour, the shopping mall was finally coming into view.

Diamond called Ruby who hurriedly answered. After telling Ruby where to go, Diamond let Andrea continue with driving.

As buses weren’t allowed in the nearby car park where Ruby was, Ruby had to go around and use another exit where a nearby filling station was.

So, when Diamond arrived, she waited patiently for her baby sister to arrive. As for the cars, they would come to fetch them the next day once the rain had subsided.

While she waited for Ruby and her friends to come, Diamond chatted with her friends on the Chat Line App.

Her circle of friends wasn’t that big, so it was manageable for her.

There was Richard, the annoying older guy who acted like a child and didn’t really show that he was from an affluent family. There was Selena, the young woman who loved acting shy and like a baby. She was a bit clingy but Diamond didn’t hate it.

Then the last was Clarissa. Although Clarissa was much closer to Ruby in terms of age, she was much closer to her than Ruby. It seemed that friendship couldn’t be forced.

In the middle of chatting, Diamond’s screen suddenly lit up and an incoming call appeared.

Diamond swiped the screen to answer shortly after seeing the call on the screen.

"Um, where are you?" Diamond asked as she looked around.

As she had not been paying attention to her surroundings as she was busy chatting, she didn’t see where Ruby was.

[I am at the resting area just outside the exit **. Where is your car parked?]

When Diamond heard that, she looked around until she found the place that Ruby was talking about.

"I see you!" Diamond smilingly said as she spotted a shivering Ruby with her group of friends looking around.

[Oh! That’s good then. So where should we come?]

"Come to the filling station. I am on the bus that you see there. Be fast or the cold will kill you!" she teasingly said before hanging up.
