Chapter 172: Chapter 170

Srad City

Clash~~~~~~~~~~~~

Madness filled the room, as several porcelains shattered and scattered all over the room.

The white and blue shards could be seen all over the room. It was a mess, but the mess was even better compared to the trouble-causer doing all of this.

"How can you tell me that you don’t know where she fu***g lives? I have seen that b*** on the internet and you are telling me that you can’t find her!" the person yelled angrily on the phone.

[Miss, even the number that you have given us. We can’t seem to trace her at all. There is nothing that we can do about this.]

Upon hearing that, the fury lady sitting on a chair got infuriated more.

"That b*** knows that I am looking for her and she didn’t bother to block my number. If I can get through her number, then why are you failing to find her? Are you sure that you guys are even legit?"

[Miss, don’t push it. We have been working together for a long time. Don’t let your anger cloud your judgment. We are not so desperate for work that we have to listen to you insulting us like that!]

When she heard the other speaking like that, she knew that she had let her anger take control over her. But could that be helped?

Not only did she fail to find that b**** when she was in Dielas, but that person was even so daring to taunt and humiliate her when she called. How could Alaine tolerate being treated like that?

She was the one who bullied other people and not the other way around.

However, the opponent she used to look down on and had forgotten if it wasn’t for that call a few months before was proving to be difficult to deal with.

"Then, tell me. Is there a way we can find her? I need to meet that b*** face to face, no matter what!" she said with gritted teeth, with her fist clenched.

[For now, the best we can do is go to Frin and snoop from there. It seems that she is basing there. And as long as we look in the right places, I don’t believe that we won’t be able to find her.]

When Alaine heard that, she heaved a sigh of relief.

"Then, please, find her as soon as possible!" she implored.

[Just leave it to us. We will do our best to find her.]

She didn’t know whether they were up for the task or not, but for now, she could only trust them. After all, they have worked together on several occasions and they were very good.

Otherwise, she wouldn’t have chosen them when she wanted to find where Diamond was. Diamond was like a slippery loach and one that needed to be dealt with before she grew up.

Alaine hung up the phone and looked at the page that was glaring at her, poking her in every part of her body and filling her with anger.

Back then, Diamond trended after attending a banquet, but who would have known that she would trend again and all of that happened in just one month?

And as if she was out there to spite her, Diamond created a page and the rate at which the page was gaining followers. It was to the extent that Alaine wanted to get rid of Diamond as quickly as possible.

As far as she was concerned, the page was created on Monday, or was it Tuesday? And in just one day, the page gained more than ten thousand followers because of one photo that was a photo grid.

And as if that wasn’t enough, that attention-seeking b*** just had to lure people with some free gifts. How could she have thought of something like that?

Alaine watched the page as if it was hers as it continued to gain followers. It wasn’t even Friday yet and yet the following count had doubled the target.

At the rate Diamond was getting popular, wouldn’t it be a matter of time before she was truly an internet celebrity?

Why would she allow that nobody who relied on her body to climb over her head?

If she couldn’t put Diamond in her place and failed to find her, she was going to dig into every single dirty thing that Diamond did in school. When she gets exposed, Alaine wants to see if these ignorant fools praising Diamond would still continue to do so.

Alaine looked at her phone and for a second, thought of calling Diamond, but when she thought of how Diamond humiliated her on the phone that night, she decided to keep her peace.

When she taunts others, she loves doing it in person. And she was going to wait patiently for the time when Diamond would be in her hands, finally.

Alaine looked again at the page that was frustrating her and closed her tablet with frustration.

She took in some deep breaths and slowly calmed down.

She began to look around and when she saw the mess in the room, a headache started consuming her.

Without much to do to change what had already happened, she picked up her phone and made a phone call to the housekeeper.

Several minutes later, the middle-aged woman walked into the study and cleaned the room without asking anything.

Shortly, the room was spotless, as if nothing happened earlier. With the room clean, Alaine took back her tablet and went to check her emails.

From that moment going forward, she started working.

Alaine was someone who knew how to take advantage of what she had.

The very second, she decided to snatch Diamond’s rich boyfriend back then; she knew the path she was going to take. And no matter how difficult it was going to be for her, she was determined to walk on fire or pins as long as she got what she wanted.

She didn’t stop working hard just because she had gotten herself a rich boyfriend. In fact, she worked even harder. She didn’t want to be seen as someone who relied on her man.

Even though what she had wasn’t enough to put her on the same level as her husband, at least it should be sufficient for her to not be pointed at and be called a gold digger who relies on a man.

Her results were very good and instead of working for others, Alaine, whose pride and ego had gotten into her head, decided to start a business for herself. Of course, she wouldn’t be so bored to try something that would be hard for her to manage in the future.

Instead, she chose a business she was passionate about or at least something that she was knowledgeable about.

At the moment, Alaine was a proud owner of three cafes in Srad and all of them were faring well. They were not just popular, but they were bringing in a lot of money and she was proud of herself.

And all these three cafes were businesses she got in the years she graduated. When she got married to her husband finally, she was already owning one café.

Although it wasn’t something to be compared to her husband, who was the current CEO of the family business that dealt with electronics, it was her self-dependence that his family liked about her.

Of course, she knew what she wanted the most and to get it; she made a perfect persona that didn’t make her look like someone who seduced her husband for his money.

All she needed to do was make it look like they were head over heels for each other and that Diamond was a home wrecker and a gold digger who only wanted nothing but his money. And that plan worked very well.

But now that person was emerging again. It seems that she needed to work fast before her husband recognized Diamond and became interested in her.

After all, the truth be told, Diamond was in love with him back then. If it wasn’t for her interference, she didn’t want to imagine what the present would have been like now.

Alaine spent her afternoon checking the emails and responding to her staff members.

Her trip to Dielas wasn’t only about looking for Diamond, but it was also about business.

Her recent café was more of a bakery café, where fresh cakes, biscuits and other confectionery products were prepared on the same day.

Some of these products would be sent to other cafes since cakes and biscuits went very well with beverages.

She wanted to poach a certain confectioner who got her attention in Dielas but who would have known that after getting pissed off by Diamond, everything just went down for a bad turn.

Not only did that confectioner tell her a ridiculous amount that she wanted to strangle the other.

No matter how popular the confectioner was, the amount of money she wanted was too ridiculous for her. In the end, what she went for to Dielas was for naught again.

And Diamond vanished to never be seen again. And the next time she saw her, she was posing on the red carpet as if she was some celebrity.

What a joke!
