Chapter 154: Chapter 152

She took in a deep breath as a satisfied smile hung on her face.

Looking at the expanse of greenery in front of her, Diamond felt as if the heavens had finally answered her dreams.

She had been looking around the place for a very long time and what she could say after everything was that this time around; the blessings were abundant.

To understand everything, she would have to rewind back to the moment that she blacked out after seeing the magical transformation of the place she found herself in during meditation.

At that time, Diamond didn’t know exactly what was going on, but after waking up, she found herself sitting cross-legged on the futon.

She was curious as to what had happened to her and by checking her body; she found herself manipulating the abundance of spiritual energy in her body in ways she never knew of before.

As she checked her body, Diamond found out that in her consciousness, there was a sea of spiritual energy and it was so sparkling that it reminded her of the alchemy heart she had absorbed earlier.

The energy drawn from that sea was refreshing, and it made her feel alive. It was as if the energy was filled with life itself and that realization made her jubilant.

That wasn’t the only wonderful thing that happened. After checking the spiritual sea, she began to wonder what happened to that beautiful piece of land she had seen before gaining.

As she thought of that, she found herself seated on a wooden bed, a very unfamiliar place that shocked her.

Worried that something bad would happen to her, she willed to return and she found herself seated on the futon again.

After repeatedly doing the same experiment, Diamond finally accepted the fact that she had been blessed double on the same day.

She got herself a dimensional space, a wonderful golden finger that the most amazing female characters in novels had and had done wonders with it.

The dimensional space, just like the many she had read about, was very cool.

It had a beautiful and big lake. The lake was filled with water that tasted refreshing and sweet. The water tasted the same as the water that the system loved rewarding her with.

Upon seeing that, Diamond’s happiness increased. She no longer needed to save water anymore. As long as the space was with her, all she had to do was fill containers and drink.

Satisfied with the lake, Diamond admired the beautiful fields and hills that filled the space.

The land was not tilled, but she could tell that as long as she did something to the land, she would have a bountiful harvest. Wasn’t that something she had been praying for ever since she learnt that there might be a drought?

With such a space with her. Diamond no longer needs to worry about the supply of grains in the future. All she had to do was farm and hoard as much as she could. She could slowly sell what she has in her shops and distribute food to society.

The farm alone couldn’t solve her problems. Besides, many fixed customers were relying on the little she was having. So, gaining a dimensional space that could help her grow crops and store them at the same time, she felt blessed.

Although her storage ring could store things, it didn’t hurt to have fresh food to eat.

The last place she checked properly was the cabin where she found herself teleporting to.

As she was curious about the space, she didn’t bother to look around the cabin, but after checking outside, Diamond happily skipped her way back to the cabin.

The cabin was a two-storied one. On the first floor, where she woke up. There was a bedroom that had a wooden bed and a closet.

There was also a kitchen with a fixed cooking fireplace, cabins for storing kitchenware, water vats, and barrels to store daily food consumption.

Lastly, there was a hall that Diamond assumed to be the living or dining room, depending on how she would want to use it.

On the second floor, there was a massive library or study room with a balcony where, when she was sitting there, she could see the beautiful scenery and the lake.

The library was a place that fascinated her the most, despite the lack of many books. However, what she found in there was enough for her to praise the heavens for granting her such a gift.

She found a book or more of a diary, probably from the last owner, and in there she found out how the space could be used.

The time flow of the space was different. Everything that was planted in the space matured very fast. However, as long as she wanted to plant something, she was required to do it manually.

In other words, there were no shortcuts for her. If she wanted something, she was required to toil hard for it. And that was quite troublesome for her. She didn’t recall the last time she held a hoe to plough the land. Would she be able to manage?

Anyway, setting aside that issue. The space also had another function, and it was the ability to age things. For example, by keeping certain herbs inside, they would be able to appear over a century old once they were out of the real world.

Not only herbs but wine as well. There was so much one could gain by having the space. So that means that if she didn’t want to plant and become a farmer, she could still do something and earn a living.

The space was also capable of storing items and keeping them fresh. It had the same function as the storage ring, so it was like having another source of storage for her.

The most important thing was that the space could only bind itself to one person. So, unless she was dead, the space would only be accessible to her. So, she didn’t need to worry about someone stealing the space from her.

There were also notes about other things. For example, the previous owner of the space was not an alchemist, but a warrior. So, he loved storing weapons inside the space, though he basically sold most of them before his death.

In other words, it would be a miracle if she found a weapon in the space.

Fortunately, while looking at other books, she found several books on other professions, and one she was interested in was alchemy.

After acquiring the alchemy heart, Diamond understood that the system was bringing her on the path of an alchemist otherwise, it wouldn’t have given her so much like that.

Although she once received body-strengthening potions before and took them, she never received any martial skill that allowed her to fight. It gave her a weapon, and that was it. The weapon didn’t even look deadly on the surface but looked more like an ornament.

Although she was looking forward to becoming a strong woman who could take down enemies with a single kick, Diamond found it not bad to be an alchemist.

Instead of fighting herself, she can let other people do the job for her. Wouldn’t that save her a lot of time?

The alchemy books were quite helpful to her, especially when she was about to start the journey of alchemy. There were introductory books on herbology, pharmacology, and alchemy itself.

As long as she read all the books, Diamond would not be an amateur but a professional. All that was needed was to work hard and dedicate herself to the profession.

There were also books on strengthening the soul. Since a lot of energy would be required to concoct pills or make potions, the soul was likely to be drained, so an alchemist was required to strengthen the soul no matter what.

Lastly, she found a few cultivation techniques that could be helpful, especially towards the security team she acquired.

As long as they learn the techniques, Diamond believed that her team would become very strong and she would not need to fear anyone.

She didn’t know how many crouching tigers were there in the world. Maybe there was someone reborn, reincarnated, or having a system like her.

She needed to be strong enough to protect not just herself, but her loved ones.

So, the moment of being lazy was no more.

After checking the books out, Diamond became more curious about the missing weapons. She couldn’t help but wonder if the previous owner had hidden at least a weapon or two.

Knowing that the previous owner came from a cultivation world, Diamond really desired to find a weapon. Even if she could not use it, she could just look at it and admire it.

Unfortunately, no matter how badly she looked around, she still failed to find anything.

In the end, she started jotting down everything that she felt she needed to add to the space.

Since the space was like another home for her, she wasn’t going to make herself suffer. So, buying the best furniture and equipping the space was the best way to go.

And most importantly, she needed farming tools.

How was she going to hoard grains without farming in the first place?
