Belinda sighed helplessly as she hung up the call.

She looked at her husband, who had the same expression as hers and couldn’t help but wonder whether she was dreaming or not.

"Husband, our daughter .... Do you think that she is pulling our leg?" after struggling for a while Belinda asked her husband.

Richard sighed deeply as he turned to look at his wife, the mother of his children, and the only woman he had loved so dearly and wouldn’t do without.

"Dear, I don’t think that Diamond has time to joke around," Richard dejectedly said as he recalled how changed his daughter had been ever since she returned to Taco and produced those miraculous pills that changed their lives forever.

Belinda also knew that her question was not necessary. After all, she knew her daughter pretty well, but she just didn’t want to accept what she had just heard.

"I am just worried. If that’s really the truth, how will she handle them? Won’t they be jealous? What if they get angered one day and attack her? The world is not a peaceful one. Husband, I am worried!" Belinda poured out her worries to her husband.

She loved her daughter so much and wanted only the best for her. She understood that Diamond was very rich. Although she and her husband had not yet seen the place where Diamond and Ruby were living, she had seen the photos of the villa and could tell that it was expensive.

Back in Taco, Diamond had purchased them a villa without blinking as if it cost peanuts, but they all knew that it was worth millions.

Diamond owned an eleven-story building, which was where the foundation was operating. Although they hadn’t seen everything with their eyes, they both understood that all the money that the foundation was using came from Diamond.

Sleeping on a chaise lounge chair, a beautiful woman seemingly to be in her mid-thirties was busy smiling, chuckling and laughing softly as she read something on the phone that she was holding.

"Dear, what is interesting?" a rich male voice sounded, making her look up with a smile on her face.

"Hubby! When did you arrive?" the woman exclaimed as she looked at the man with stars in her eyes.

The man, seeing the love in his wife’s eyes, beamed as he joined her.

"A while ago, but you were preoccupied, and I didn’t want to disturb you," he explained to her as he affectionately caressed her arm.

The woman closed her eyes and showed a satisfied expression as she felt her husband’s touch on her.

"So, who is making you smile like that?" the husband asked, his eyes filled with curiosity.

The wife opened her eyes, which were sparkling like diamonds, and carried a glint of mischievousness in them.

’What is she up to again?’ he wondered fearfully upon seeing that.

"Who else can me smile like that? How about you take a guess?" she teasingly suggested as she winked at him.

He chuckled softly when he heard that. His wife was indeed in her playful mood. If he was a crazy and unreasonable husband, he would have thought that she had found some younger men to entertain her since he was always busy working.

But he knew his wife very well. She had always been supportive of him from the day they first met. It wasn’t love at first sight for them, but their love was strong.

They have cleared all obstacles that came their way and managed to be where they are today.

They had been married for thirty years and had three children in total. Their oldest was twenty-nine years old, and he was helping the husband with running the family business.

The other two were girls, twins, and they were born after a long struggle. After giving birth to their son, the couple had trouble conceiving and after eight painful years; they were blessed with twins.

They spoiled the girls so much and those naughty girls always managed to bring a smile to everyone’s faces. And thinking of them, the husband couldn’t help but think that maybe they were the culprits making his wife beam like that.

"Is it the girls?" he asked with a smile as he looked at his wife, who was staring at him while waiting for his answer.

When she heard his response, a smile widened on her face as she nodded her head affirmatively. "Um, it’s the girls."

"I hope that they aren’t complaining. They are the ones that wanted to work at a stranger’s place," the husband said dejectedly.

When he thought of how his pampered daughters were slaving in someone else’s workplace when they had never cooked their cup of tea from birth, he didn’t know how to feel.

When the wife saw the husband’s dejected and defeated expression, she burst into a hearty laughter.

"I am afraid that you are mistaken. With the rate they are going, I am afraid that we might have to bring them by force for the holidays," the wife laughed as she recalled what those girls had been busy sending to her.

"They are doing what?" his wife’s words shocked him.

"Calm down, dear. Don’t worry, they will definitely come back."

"No, buts. They are complaining. They told me that the foundation will be closing its doors on Tuesday."

"Oh! That’s good news, and when are they opening again?"

"That’s where your daughters are fuming. Hehe, they are saying that the foundation will start its operation on the 10th of January. So, the girls are completely pissed," the wife chuckled as she recalled how angry the girls were.

When the husband heard that, he sighed with relief. To him, it meant that the girls would have no choice but to come home.

After all, who would allow strangers to remain in her house when she wouldn’t be there?

"Then the girls are definitely going to come back?" he asked eagerly.

"They will be coming on Wednesday, if everything goes well."

"Why Wednesday? Isn’t it a bit too fast?" he asked doubtfully.

They close on Tuesday and the girls would return the next day. Was that girl chasing his daughters away or what?

When the wife saw the husband’s gloomy expression, she hurriedly explained.

"The girls are saying that the host will be going to her hometown on Wednesday. She hasn’t seen her parents in a very long time, so she is quite eager."

When he heard that, he exhaled with relief.

"Since the girls aren’t here yet, how about the two of us go inside and have the time of our lives?" the husband’s rich and seductive voice sounded in her ear.

The wife raised her head as she looked at her husband with a playful smile on her face.

"Is that all you think about?"

"Hehe, how can I not when I was blessed with such a beautiful wife?" he teasingly responded as he pinched her nose.
