Chapter 143: Chapter 141

She wanted to move the company to Frin, and that would take a long time. Not only did she need an office, but a training ground for the guards. Luckily, she had set aside four floors at Greenbay’s apartments, so it would solve accommodation problems.

The company had ninety guards plus ten employees who worked in the administration department.

It was considered a small company when comparing it to other security companies. The previous owner was just picky and didn’t hire just anyone. So, despite being in operation for ten years, there weren’t a lot of guards.

And the number was just perfect for her. She didn’t want her guards to serve others when she and her family members didn’t have a single person to guard them.

As long as they were willing to move to Frin, she was willing to spoil them and change their lives. But for those not capable of doing so, she was going to compensate them well.

After all, there was no way she was going to operate two offices when she could base all her companies in one place.

Before going to bed, Diamond sent an email to the general manager, who was currently in charge of running the security team. She wanted to have a video meeting with him first before she made more plans.

It was unfortunate that she didn’t receive a normal response, as it was around eleven at night.

After dealing with everything, Diamond went to wash up, changed into her pajamas and went to sleep.

The next morning, she woke up naturally and stretched her arms as she yawned while looking around.

Diamond climbed down from the bed, wore her flip-flops and went to the bathroom, where she washed her face and brushed her teeth.

Five minutes later, she exited the bedroom wearing her exercise gear.

Just like every single morning, she went on a jog and returned to the villa sweating.

She was so used to seeing Janet alone, but she was surprised when she saw that Nancy was also awake.

After returning Nancy’s greeting, Diamond went upstairs where she took a shower and found an outfit for the day.

Since she wasn’t planning on going to the office as she needed to help Nancy pick up some furniture for the house, she didn’t find any formal clothes.

She picked a short white tulip skirt with a black sleeveless tank top and a pair of black and white sneakers. The outfit was perfect for the weather. She wasn’t going to make herself suffer with all the heat.

After spraying some cologne, she was ready to go.

When she reached downstairs, all eyes were on her.

Seeing the twins’ exaggerated expressions, Diamond burst into a peal of laughter.

"Good morning girls!" Diamond cheerfully greeted the girls as she was very happy with their reactions.

"Diamond, you ..."

"What the ... You can actually dress like that?"

Ruby stifled her laughter as she enjoyed how the twins were reacting.

Even Nancy didn’t know what to say as she looked at the youthful Diamond. As most times these three had seen Diamond dressed seriously, they even forgot that she was young and roughly around their age.

Diamond twirled around, showing off her good figure before winking at Ruby, who was still trying hard to stifle her laughter, and said, "I am still young. Both the heart and body."

"Yes, yes, you are!" Ruby said playfully as her laughter escaped from her.

Diamond, under the stunned reactions of the girls, sat down at the table, joining everyone for breakfast.

Janet shook her head helplessly as she listened to the girls playing around. At least she was used to seeing Diamond stunning her once in a while, and it felt good seeing others suffering as well.

Breakfast went very well and the five of them departed in two separate cars.

Ruby went to the twins, and Diamond took Nancy with her. The two cars went separate ways after being together for a while.

Sitting with Diamond at the front, Nancy was anxious and nervous.

She didn’t think that Diamond would give her an apartment that others were paying A$30,000 monthly to stay in.

Although her monthly salary was exaggerated and ten thousand higher than the rent price, she still felt that she didn’t deserve to stay in such a place.

However, when she recalled how the contract, she had signed specifically outlined how the company would be in charge of her accommodation; she didn’t have anything to say anymore.

Not only did Diamond give her such an expensive place to stay, but she was also going to buy her furniture. Although it wasn’t full of furniture for the whole apartment, Nancy felt that she didn’t deserve all of it.

She had not done anything for Diamond and yet the other was already treating her so well like that. What if she were to disappoint her in the future?

She was truly nervous, but she knew that showing it would be completely useless as Diamond seemed to be the kind of person who wasn’t willing to listen as long as she made up her mind.

Diamond had an inkling of what Nancy was thinking and feeling. However, there was no way she was going to allow her to disrupt her plans.

She planned to make Nancy so grateful to her that no matter what happens in the future, she would not be willing to betray her.

As long as she treated her employees well, Diamond understood that they would stick with her till the end unless they were too greedy for what didn’t belong to her.

If she were to let her PA, who came from afar, worry about where to sleep and what to eat, would she be qualified to call herself a proper human being?

So, she didn’t allow Nancy to argue or persuade her to do otherwise.

The place they were going was just a few kilometers away, and she was relieved that they were nearly there.

After passing two traffic lights with a bit of traffic, Diamond finally drove through the mall’s parking lot and found an empty lot for her SUV to park.

Apart from the small bag she carried from home, Diamond didn’t have anything else with her.

The two of them got out of the car and, like an obedient kitten, Nancy followed Diamond.

As Diamond was more knowledgeable about Frin, she didn’t hesitate but began to tell Nancy about the mall that she had picked to purchase furniture.

The mall was thirty minutes away from Greenbay apartments and it was the reason why she picked it in the first place.

Nancy observed her surroundings carefully and also listened to what her boss was telling her.

There weren’t a lot of people in the mall except for several employees who were working there. Since most people would be at work in the morning, it wasn’t surprising for the malls to not be full.

And that was another reason why Diamond chose to go in the morning. It was a good time when there wouldn’t be too much traffic and suitable for leisure purchasing.

There was no need for her to hurry when picking what she wanted. She would just take her time and pick what she truly wanted in the end.

After walking and taking several turns in the mall, Diamond finally led Nancy into a furniture shop. It was one of the best and most famous furniture brands in Frin as well as Athary itself.

When Nancy saw the shop that they entered, she knew that there was no way she was going to stop her boss anymore.

To be honest, who didn’t love living in luxury?

Now that she had found someone willing to treat her well, why should she mess things up and try to act like a saint?

Since Diamond was willing to treat her so well, Nancy vowed to herself that she was going to work hard and make sure to repay Diamond’s generosity. She was not going to let the other down.

And that vow became intensified as she witnessed how rich people shopped.

Ever since she received the villa, Diamond had never gone furniture shopping. Even the villa for her parents came with the furniture, so the sensation was thrilling for her.

Nancy didn’t know whether to laugh or cry as she watched as Diamond happily shopped. If it wasn’t that Diamond’s style was good, though it was on the expensive side, she would have found a way to stop her.

Whenever Diamond came across a fluffy bed that looked comfortable, she tested it several times and dragged Nancy to do the same with her.

It took a while for the two of them before Diamond picked a bed, which she thought was the best and it was pricey as heck.

Nancy hypnotized herself repeatedly and told herself to not look at the prices and just go for what she thought was the best.

In the end, the two became a wonderful scene to see. As whatever they liked, they added it to the shopping cart.

It quite shocked even the saleswomen and men when they saw the degree of shopping done by the two. They became even more enthusiastic and introduced the other products as best as they could.
