Chapter 139: Chapter 137

Diamond had Janet settle the twins on the second floor. There were several rooms not being used there.

As Diamond was staying on the third floor, she didn’t want anyone else there, even her sister. So why would she settle them there with her?

The room was spacious and luxurious enough to house the guests and the twins were satisfied with it. After all, they were in another person’s house. Someone they had seen for the first time the previous day in person.

Investigating a person and seeing the person physically was totally different. So, they were simply grateful that Diamond showed them enough courtesy.

While the twins settled down in their room, Diamond was busy in her bedroom arranging some of her trophies.

She had gained so much during her trip and she couldn’t wait to see the rewards carefully.

One of the rewards she gained was the beauty cream recipe. A gift sent from heaven that if she utilized well, she would be able to earn big and make a name for herself.

With the recipe in hand, Diamond knew that she couldn’t be lazy anymore. She had to work hard and make sure that she wouldn’t waste the effort that the system had put into her.

For the cream, she needed to prepare a laboratory and a factory to produce the creams. But before that, she needed to register the company and make sure that she wouldn’t be hindered when she released the products to the public.

There was so much for her to do, but luckily for her, there was Andrea, who would help her to solve most of the things.

Setting aside the cosmetics business, there was also the issue of training herself. She was getting a lot of attention and didn’t have security, though she was sure that she would be getting some good news later that week regarding that issue.

However, training herself and being able to defend herself from any attacks would be good for her.

That meant that she was going to put fan training on the agenda and wait for another training manual from the system.

Another thing was the random news prediction. She had not used it yet, and she wasn’t in a hurry. She was afraid that something bad might happen if she just used it without preparation.

However, so far, it seemed that everything was faring well except for the rain. Thinking about the rain, Diamond was also reminded that she had not finished her discussion with the kids.

She decided that she would finish it when Ruby came. That way, the three little girls can learn together and be better people as they grow up.

"Andrea!" Diamond called for her favorite son after sorting her thoughts out.

[Mother! How may I help you?]

"Help me register a cosmetic company, entertainment company, trading company and a money lending company," Diamond instructed.

[Oh! You are planning on doing it all at once?]

Hearing Andrea’s surprised tone, Diamond felt embarrassed and just wished that she had shown several good sides of her to Andrea than for him to see her that way.

"Yes. I have decided to be serious for once. Is it bad?"

[No, it’s good. I am glad that you are finally having the confidence to do a lot of things.]

"So, will you, do it?"

[Don’t worry. Registering is much simpler than anything else. I will have everything prepared by tomorrow.]

Upon hearing that, Diamond heaved a sigh of relief.

"Any news regarding my security team?" Diamond was curious about that.

It’s been a while since Andrea started acquiring that security company and though she was aware that he promised that everything would be done that week, she felt anxious.

[It’s almost done. I will have all the proper documents sent to you by tomorrow.]

"Really?"

[Yes. I wanted to surprise you.]

"Hehe, sorry for messing up the surprise, then."

[I have gotten used to it.]

"Sorry, still."

[No problem.]

Diamond was happy again after getting such great news. Knowing that she wouldn’t need to continue being scared of provoking others, getting provoked and being helpless about it, she was in a good mood.

As she sat there, her phone started ringing and when she saw the caller, a smile blossomed on her face.

"Hello, dear!" she cheerfully greeted.

[Sister, are you home now?]

"Um, I am. You miss me already?"

[Hehe, always.]

Diamond was all smiles as she chatted with Ruby on the phone. Unfortunately, the call didn’t last long before Ruby hung up. She was still at work, after all.

After sorting everything out, Diamond took a quick shower and changed into casual clothes.

She left the third floor and went to the ground floor, where she began to chat with Janet, who was preparing lunch for everyone.

Later, the twins joined, and everyone had a good chat.

After lunch, Diamond took the girls around Cherry Court and showed them the interesting places that they could visit, though Diamond rarely went there.

It was a pity that she didn’t get to see Kisha. The young woman was probably somewhere working.

Around six in the evening, Diamond was sitting in the lounge, watching the news while the girls were in the sitting room, whispering to each other and laughing another moment.

It was good for her to watch the current affairs as that would show her what was going on in the country or the globe as a whole.

As she sat there, enjoying herself, she heard the door opening. Since everyone was already in the house, she automatically knew who had come and she was jovial.

However, she didn’t stand up but waited for the other to find her.

"Good evening, Auntie!" Ruby merrily greeted as soon as she entered the house.

"Good evening, second Miss."

"Auntie, where is my sister?" Ruby asked shortly after the greetings.

"The young lady is watching the news in the lounge."

"Really?"

"Um, and we also have visitors. They are in the sitting room."

Upon hearing that, Ruby stopped in her tracks as she looked doubtfully at Janet.

"You aren’t joking, right?" Ruby asked as she gauged Janet’s reaction.

Janet chuckled softly as she looked at Ruby. She could understand why she was acting that way.

Diamond barely brought visitors at home. The only guests that came were those ladies who love chicken or the neighbors. So, knowing that Diamond brought people, it was just surprising.

"No, I am not. She will introduce them to you soon."

Hearing that, Ruby was looking forward to seeing the people that made it into the villa. Her sister didn’t like bringing people home after all.

So, she skipped to the lounge while avoiding the sitting room.

If she were to go to the sitting room first, it would be awkward for her and the visitors. They didn’t know each other at all. So having Diamond introduce them would be the first.

Diamond was eavesdropping on Ruby and Janet’s conversation, so she was looking forward to her sister’s arrival.

Moments later, she saw the little girl dressed in a pair of black jeans, a white Diamond of Hope t-shirt with a pair of white sneakers entering the lounge.

"Big sis!" Ruby exclaimed loudly upon seeing Diamond.

Diamond smiled brightly at Ruby without standing and waited for Ruby to start getting mischievous again.

"I can tell that someone missed me!" Diamond said teasingly as she opened her arms.

Ruby dived into Diamond’s arms, collapsing on her lap before starting to rub her face in her neck.

Diamond felt tickled, so she started laughing, and Ruby tickled her more.

The laughter of the sisters was simply so loud that it attracted the twins who were chatting with their mother to the lounge.

When they arrived, they found Ruby and Diamond playing. The twins could only enviously stare at the two while they waited for them to finish.

After tickling Diamond for a while, Ruby decided to stop.

So, the twins witnessed a wave of dog food as Ruby pinched Diamond’s cheeks and scrutinized her face several times before she said, "You didn’t get any thinner. That means you were taking good care of yourself. Well, done, big sis!"

Getting teased like that, Diamond surrendered and allowed Ruby to do as she wished.

The feeling of being cared for and having someone to worry about her when she returns home was special. She didn’t hate what Ruby was doing but loved it completely.

It was only when Ruby was satisfied and seated on the couch next to her, did she remember that the twins were in the room with them.

She turned her head and smiled at the two.

"Come in. I will introduce you to my younger sister," Diamond called for the twins.

When Ruby heard her sister saying that, she also turned her head and was stunned at the spot.

’Identical twins. How do you even know who is who?’ she was baffled upon seeing the guests.
