Chapter 131: Chapter 129

The morning was different from any other morning she had ever had in her life before, and the burst of courage and self-confidence she showed earlier made her feel rejuvenated.

At the same time, she felt as if she had just gone through a nirvana. She had never been so forthright and confident in her entire life. Even when she was with her employees, she wasn’t that bold.

However, when she recalled the pep talk, she had with Andrea the other day, Diamond understood what she needed to do the second she overheard Kian and Sullivan talking about her on the phone.

Besides, she was very confident that no matter what she would throw at them, the twins wouldn’t budge and leave her.

They had expended a lot of effort to have her, so why would they easily give up after getting her?

That was also why, before making her scheme known to the twins, she slept with Sullivan first.

It would be impossible for him to evade responsibility. Even if they agreed to be with her just to exact revenge on them for tricking them, Diamond didn’t believe that they would continue to think like that after being with her.

She was going to spoil them in her way and provide them with goodies they had never seen in this world. With so many treasures on her, would they dare even think of ditching her and finding someone else?

She didn’t think so.

So, she was very happy after the twins vowed to be with her, care for her, pamper and spoil her. Although those promises sounded iffy since words weren’t that meaningful as it was easy to go back on one’s words, she still found the moment lovely.

She had never been told something like that except by her family members, which didn’t count.

That ex-boyfriend of hers never said any sweet words to her. Even when they were intimate. It would be shocking if he didn’t call out the name of his white moonlight during the deed.

Sometimes she wondered what made her so thick-skinned to continue being with him back then.

Anyway, after the morning conversation, Sullivan had to reheat the food since it had gone cold as they were having a family meeting.

Once in a while, Sullivan would look at her and chuckle helplessly, but she just shrugged her shoulders in response.

After breakfast, Sullivan did the dishes, and the two went for a cuddle.

Just when she thought that they would be having a great afternoon to themselves, Sullivan received a call from his manager.

Apparently, there was an emergency, and Sullivan needed to go to work. He received a job at the last minute, which was more of a favor being asked of him.

Diamond knew that she couldn’t keep him, so she reluctantly had to part with him. There wasn’t too much time for them to spend together, as she would be leaving the next day.

However, work was also important, and she knew how much Sullivan loved his job, although she still hadn’t watched any of his works. She was too busy and needed to rectify that when she returned to Frin.

Sullivan drove Diamond in his Laserati out of the neighborhood and dropped her off at the hotel before he left with unwillingness written all over his face.

Seeing him like that, she felt much better, as that showed that she wasn’t the only one who felt sour about the separation thing.

After returning to the hotel, she returned to the suite where she soaked her body in some warm medicated water for thirty minutes and witnessed as all the hickeys vanished into thin air.

After getting a bath, she changed into a classy black and white short jumpsuit with a pair of black gladiators.

She took out a bucket bag from her storage ring and threw a few necessities inside before she was satisfied.

"Perfect!" she complimented herself as she checked herself in the mirror.

After finishing everything, she made a call to Betty and informed her to prepare the car for her. She was going out and wanted to buy a few souvenirs since she would be leaving the next morning.

Diamond left her suite and looked at Rita’s door before harrumphing and making her way to the elevator.

She wiped the car on the screen and waited patiently for the elevator to arrive. Unfortunately for her, the elevator went all the way to the pent-suite first before it came down.

Noticing that it went upwards, Diamond became curious about the person with whom she would be sharing the elevator this time.

When the elevator reached her floor, it opened, revealing the person that was inside.

’Is my luck that good?’ she couldn’t help but wonder as she walked into the elevator.

The person inside the elevator happened to be the man she saw the previous day when she left the hotel to meet Sullivan.

Because of all the drama that had happened, she had nearly forgotten that before meeting Sullivan; she had seen a man that suited her type the most.

He was devilishly handsome, and she couldn’t help but be greedy. However, it wasn’t time for her to chase foolishly a man. So, the best she could do was send a greeting and hope that he would remember her.

Just because she was pretty didn’t mean that every man out there would be enchanted by her.

"Hello, we meet again!" she smilingly said as she looked at him, her greediness masked without a chance of spiling it.

"Hello! We met again, it seems," he chuckled softly as he looked at her.

"Hehe!" she chuckled softly as she looked to the front.

The man inside the elevator sized her up and Diamond could feel his gaze on her. However, she refused to turn around and look at him. What if she lost control of herself in the process?

At least before getting fully acquainted with someone, she needed to look as decent as she could be.

The ride to the ground floor took like forever and when she exited the elevator, she heaved a deep sigh of relief.

’Damn! That was another deadly blow!’

Fortunately, when she entered the lobby, the professionally dressed Betty was there to welcome her, making her feel energized and throw the handsome man out of her mind.

Diamond left the hotel in the sedan that Betty had arranged for her and she sat in the backseat with her eyes closed.

However, what she didn’t know was that the moment she entered the car while talking to Betty with a smile on her face, someone was looking at her with a playful smile seated in a luxurious sedan.

’Interesting as always!’

Diamond had informed the driver where she wanted to go, so all she needed to do was wait until she reached there and do what she wanted.

On her way, Andrea suddenly sounded in her ear.

[Mother, how about you check the friend list I made now that you are free?]

Upon hearing that, Diamond opened her eyes. Without arousing any suspicions, she opened her bag and took out her phone.

After unlocking the screen, she found a blinking email icon, which she clicked open without hesitation.

The email’s contents were very intriguing, and it was the list that Andrea had meticulously prepared for her.

There were not just names but photos of every candidate that Andrea had picked.

The full profile of the girls was available, and all she did during the trip to the mall was read fully and grasp what these girls were like.

There were five of them in total. Two of them were around her age, twenty-five years old, one of them was two years older than her, and the remaining two were around twenty-three years old.

These five girls came from prominent families in Frin. Their backgrounds were good and so were their educational background. They were much better when compared to her, but did that even matter?

Her net worth was grander than their families combined, so why fear them?

However, just because they were chosen by Andrea, didn’t mean that she had to befriend all of them. She needed to observe them first and see if there were girls she could get along with.

For them to become friends, the liking needed to be mutual. She might like them, but that might not be the case for them. So, she decided to wait until she was back in Frin before pursuing the girls.

While thinking about that, she couldn’t help but thought of Clarissa. She was a good girl and they haven’t talked that much. She didn’t mind becoming closer to her. Her honesty was much to her liking.

Thinking of the measures she would be taking once she returned to Frin, Diamond enjoyed herself and lost track of time.

After a while, not sure how long, she finally found herself at the mall that she wanted to visit.

The driver opened the door for her and she gratifiedly nodded at him before informing him of how she would contact him once she was done.

As she entered the mall, the driver left to find a parking space.

Looking at the majestic mall in front of her, Diamond knew that she would be having a good harvest.

Unknown to her, a few people were heading towards her way and the day was about to get crazy.
