Outside one of the biggest conference halls in Dielas City, several reporters were busy snapping photos from their high-definition cameras that could take images from a distance.

Apart from them, there was a group of enthusiastic fans who were holding banners, light bombs, and busy screaming their celebrity’s names.

There were even a few streamers who were broadcasting the event live to their viewers. The place was in full swing and several cars could be seen dropping off celebrities who were dressed to the nines.

As that particular banquet was a popular one, despite having no awards issued to the guests, it was a night of connecting and having fun.

it was private to the public once they were inside, which made the banquet enchanting for the attendees.

However, as long as they were outside, the reporters, fans, paparazzi, and streamers all had a chance to look at their favorite people before they were hidden inside.

Several platforms were broadcasting the event, and many viewers were stuck on their screens as they were curious about who was invited and what they were wearing.

It was around half-past six and in a certain luxurious apartment, two sisters were casually lying on the bed as they held tablets in their hands.

These sisters were watching the red-carpet event but had been waiting for their favorite celebrity to come on screen.

"I am getting tired of waiting. Are you sure that she is attending?" the girl with red dyed hair asked the one with black hair.

The one with black hair looked at her identical twin sister, who was only set apart by the color of her hair, and answered, "That’s what the manager said. Besides, why are you asking me like that? Let’s just wait and see."

The black-haired girl glared at her twin sister and harrumphed, "Humph, can’t you be nice?"

The red-haired girl simply shook her head before shifting her gaze back to the tablet.

Around that time, the broadcast was in full swing, and another celebrity was being introduced.

[Now, let’s welcome our next attendee with her guest!] the female MC, wearing a tight-clad evening gown, coyly said as she looked towards the road where another car was approaching.

When the twins saw the car that just appeared on screen, they were both amazed that they looked at each other.

"What is that?"

"I am curious about who is inside?"

"I think I just saw the Ace Hotel logo."

"I saw it too. Which special guest did our hotel take in this time?" the black-haired twin couldn’t help but wonder.

"I want to see her too!"

As the twins were at it again, the guest finally exited the car and the bullet screen went quiet. The twins went quiet but the reporters became crazier.

The twins looked at each other, astonishment visible in their eyes.

"Precious, is that girl wearing the latest VERTAH Embellished Halter Ombre gown?" the red-haired girl asked her twin sister disbelievingly.

Precious looked at her twin sister and chuckled with amusement upon seeing that.

"Patience, I guess that there are so many crouching tigers out there. That is indeed the gown!" Precious couldn’t help it, after all, she knew how difficult it was to get that gown.

She and her sister didn’t own one, but someone in their family did.

"I can’t believe that I get to see the purple version of the gown on screen!" Precious helplessly said as she looked closely at the screen.

"I wonder how she got it?" Patience skeptically asked with narrowed eyes.

Precious shook her head as she looked at Patience and said, "Dear sister, there are too many rich people out there that we don’t know about."

"Whatever. I will search for her information and see what I can find. I don’t believe that this unknown girl can dress better than my idol!"

Patience wasn’t the only one having a fit.

Even the celebrities that were in front were cursing as Diamond and Kisha had stolen all the attention.

In order to attend the banquet, Diamond had gone all out. She was going to appear on TV and be watched by many. So why bother to be humble?

As a result, she picked a halter dress that the system had ceremoniously rewarded her some time ago.

Her gown had a silver and gold jeweled high neck, so she didn’t wear any necklace. She wore yellow gold diamond drop diamonds, with a matching bracelet, and ring since it came as a set.

The gown was long, so it was not easy to see what was hiding beneath. As she was wearing a long dress, Diamond opted for flat embellished shoes as there was no need to knock herself out by wearing heels that would be hidden throughout the event.

In her hands, she was holding a golden purse to match the outfit as well. As she plaited cornrow a while back, Diamond knew that she wouldn’t look good if she were to appear in such a simple hairstyle, so she opted for a wig which was styled in chignon style, exposing her beautiful neck.

Seeing that the reporters had taken several photos, Kisha as the host looked at Diamond with a smile before hooking arms with her.

Since Diamond was Kisha’s date, it wasn’t wrong for them to walk like that. Besides, she wanted to gain some traffic using Diamond. So, if she were to walk by herself, she was sure that there would be a few photos of her trending online.

So as long as she stuck close to Diamond, she would also appear, even if they were to edit her out.

Diamond was a bit nervous actually, but after seeing how thrilled the cameramen were when taking her photos, and how the fans of other celebrities seemed to be cheering for her as she walked. Diamond knew that she needed to be confident.

She had not been studying the self-esteem-boosting books for nothing. Since she had decided to appear, then she might as well be confident about it and go all out.

With that thought in mind, Diamond let Kisha hook her arms with her and the two of them elegantly walked on the red carpet and the feeling was quite amazing.

Diamond and Kisha stopped several times as they posed for the photos and when the next celebrities were on their way, the two of them went to get a short interview and, at the same time, left their signatures on the wallpaper.

Diamond stood aside as the female MC interviewed Kisha and asked her some general questions.

After a short while, the MC shifted her attention to Diamond and asked a few questions as well.

"How do you feel attending this event?"

Diamond smiled politely at the MC before answering smoothly, "I feel honored," without giving away anything.

"A lot of viewers must be curious to know about you. Do you mind sharing a few words with them?" the MC asked, hoping to get some information about the beautifully dressed young woman.

Diamond looked at the MC before looking at the camera and said smilingly, "My name is Diamond, and please take care of me."

When it came to revealing her personal information to the world, Diamond was no fool. Besides, if she was exposed too much, won’t the same reporters roast her in their posts later?

If they were curious about her, they would have to find her for that. Instead of concentrating more on her, they should do that to Kisha.

Seeing Diamond being evasive, Kisha didn’t know how to react, but she was quite pleased inwardly.

"That’s good then. As we wait for the banquet to start, let me take you around and show you some friends of mine. They are dying to meet you!" Kisha swiftly changed the topic.

When Diamond agreed to accompany her, they had made a deal, and it was time for her to fulfill her end of the bargain.

Diamond smiled at Kisha upon hearing that. Although the feeling of being baptized by camera flashes was good, it didn’t beat the need to make money for her.
