"Are you not eating?" Diamond asked curiously as she licked her lips, obviously enjoying the food that Betty had brought to her.

"Ahem, sorry about that. I will eat," Nancy quickly said as she started serving her plate as well.

Diamond’s lips raised for a second before she went back to her plate.

After eating several spoons, Diamond was feeling much better and decided to continue from where they stopped.

When two people who had met for the first time were eating, it was plausible to have that awkwardness between them, and Diamond wanted to eat comfortably instead of having indigestion because of that.

"Since you have told me more about yourself, I will tell you about myself," Diamond said as she raised the glass of wine to her lips for a sip.

"Please do."

Nancy was very curious about Diamond, especially after failing to find any information that mattered when she was looking up for her.

"I have a few companies in my name and, like what I said before, I want someone who can assist me in running them. I want a personal assistant who knows what she is doing and someone flexible," Diamond said seriously as she looked at Nancy.

"You see, my businesses if you look at them closely at the moment, they don’t seem to be related to each other. So, you need to have wits and be quick-witted when dealing with them."

"I own a charity foundation that is mainly dealing with helping the girl child and so far, it has been involved in a lot of projects and I can say that everyone is doing okay."

"I also own a farm and the produce harvested from there is sold in a shop that is under my third business. The other harvest is sent to the foundation’s restaurant since the majority of employees just eat there more than outside."

"In other words, though they don’t seem related, they are related in some way and there will be more in the future."

"I am not the kind of person who loves being stuck in one place, so as much as I love helping others, I can’t find myself dedicating all my time to doing so. I love exploring, so I know that I will be opening a lot of businesses again. And I need someone to help me with that."

Diamond already knew where the future would lead her, especially in terms of her business empire.

She understood very well that she wasn’t as intelligent as other people out there. She wasn’t a business genius; however, she wanted to earn money and continue doing good deeds even when the system was no more.

She knew that with her body changes, if she really wanted to, she would just study hard and become a genius herself, but studying was something that she didn’t want to hear anymore.

Besides, ever since getting Andrea, Diamond no longer wanted to overexert her brain, especially when all she could do was ask and get the answers that she needed

And if she could hire people to help her manage her business while she does whatever she wants, wouldn’t that be a good choice?

She would also be helping people who needed to make a living by doing it that way. She didn’t want to become a workaholic when she was already richer than most people in the world.

She wanted to spend time with her family and lovers and start her own family. If she were to concentrate on work, where would she find time to find her lovers and be with them?

Besides, there was nothing wrong with what she was doing. The system didn’t say anything and since she was still doing charitable deeds without stealing from anyone; she was clear of getting everything taken away from her.

"Can you do that? Are you confident that you can tackle all the duties that would come with being my assistant? Because I can honestly tell you right now that you will be working a lot in the future. I honestly don’t like going to the visit, so unless there is something serious, everyone will be reporting to you," Diamond calmly told Nancy, as she didn’t want to omit anything important by sugarcoating the post that was currently available.

Nancy was honestly amused by everything she had heard during dinner. She ended up having no appetite to continue eating, as everything was simply so amazing and unbelievable for someone as young as Diamond.

Diamond had not revealed her background, but Nancy could guess that she was loaded. And the first luxury could be seen from the suite she was currently in.

Even her former bosses would stay in standard rooms when they were out. So, seeing a young woman like Diamond staying in a presidential suite that cost A$10,000 per night, she knew that Diamond wasn’t joking.

And since Diamond was honest with her from the beginning, Nancy believed that it would be worth her to try to give the job a chance.

Being pushed to the limits was a good thing, as it was in such ways that great potential was unlocked.

At least Diamond would trust her enough to lead the company on her behalf and that would make her some sort of CEO, wouldn’t it?

"You can think about it and give me an answer before I return to Frin," Diamond said after a while, seeing how Nancy hadn’t responded yet.

However, Nancy shorty responded after Diamond said that, which made Diamond curious as to what Nancy would choose.

"I don’t have to wait and think about it. I will take the job and start at any time," Nancy agreed as she looked at Diamond with seriousness.

When Diamond heard that, she heaved a sigh of relief. She indeed liked Nancy more than other candidates, though she could hire them to take on other positions if they were still available.

"That’s good then. I will draft the contract as soon as I can and have you sign it. In the meantime, let’s talk in detail about some duties I would require you to do," Diamond said with a playful smile on her face.

And that’s how Nancy fully managed to know how crazy her future boss was like. Even when she lay in the hotel room, she had reserved for her stay in Dielas, everything still felt unreal.

As for Diamond, she had Andrea draft a good contract for Nancy that would make her stay and be reluctant to leave no matter who tries to poach her in the future.

Before going to bed, Diamond had a video call with Ruby for five minutes before she called her parents for longer than that.

Since Christmas was nearing, Diamond wanted to spend some time with her family, since the four of them had not been together in a very long time.

Her parents were still on that vacation she had sent them. However, by Christmas, they would be back so she and Ruby could return to Taco and enjoy their time there.

After making all the calls, Diamond finally went to sleep with a smile on her face.

The next morning, Diamond did yoga first before taking a shower. After her shower, she planned to go to the restaurant to have some breakfast.

As she tidied herself, thinking of what to eat, she received a call.

"Andrea, who is it?" Diamond smoothly asked as she applied lip balm on her lips.

Diamond was now afraid of picking up her former classmates’ calls. Ever since she caused drama at the reunion; she didn’t want to be offended by a call and spoil her day.

So, every time someone called when she was nowhere near the phone, she would ask Andrea to look into it before answering.

[It’s Rita. Should I answer?]

"Oh! It’s her. I nearly forgot about her because of Nancy. Sure, answer it," Diamond said as she placed the balm on the dresser.

Moments later, Rita was on the line.

[Good morning, Diamond.]

"Good morning, big sister," Diamond cheerfully responded.

[How are you? I hope that I didn’t disturb your sleep.]

"I slept well and no; you didn’t disturb me. I am changing so that I can go to the restaurant for breakfast," Diamond responded as she revealed her plans for the morning to the other person.

[Oh! That’s good then. I wanted to invite you for some breakfast as well.]

"Really? That’s great then. Should I come out now?" Diamond asked eagerly, as she was happy about having a companion to eat with and a potential client as well.

[Hehe, if you are done, just come out. I will meet you outside.]

"Okay, I will hang up now."

[Hmm, see you.]

The call was then hung, and Diamond cheerfully looked at herself in the mirror.

[Ding! Do you want to sign in?]

’Of course, I do. Sign in!’ she immediately responded.

[Ding! You have been rewarded with a bottle of beauty pills. They have been stored in your inventory. Don’t forget to claim them.]

After dropping such a bomb, the system vanished without giving her a chance to think.

"What just happened?" Diamond asked out loud in disbelief as the system’s mechanical voice continued to play in her head.

[Mother, is something wrong?] Andrea asked worriedly as she sounded through the EarPods that she was wearing.

Upon hearing that, Diamond sighed deeply before a smile emerged on her face.

"Hahaha, there is nothing wrong, son. This mother is so happy!" Diamond abruptly broke into laughter as she finally accepted the fact that she had been rewarded with something magical.

"This will be a good day, trust me!" Diamond chuckled softly as she stood up.

Andrea didn’t say anything again, making her free from being questioned.

Being in such a jovial mood, she took her muff bag before heading towards the suite’s main door.

"I got a feeling.... Mmmmm .... That tonight is gonna be a ....." Diamond hummed a song as she happily skipped to the door.

It was going to be a good day, and she could foresee it.
