Chapter 110: Chapter 108

[Mother, if you don’t leave now. You might end up missing out on seeing a lot of places!]

That was something that startled Diamond and made her move very fast.

After waking up on the second day of being in the capital, Diamond started her day by doing yoga.

After doing yoga, she went to wash up and started rummaging through her dressing room for an outfit to wear for the day.

"Andrea, you really know how to start my day. Don’t you know to wait for a while until I am done?" Diamond complained as she picked an outfit that seemed proper.

[If I don’t push you, I am afraid that you might spend the day in the suite.]

"What’s wrong with that? At least the suite has everything that I need?" Diamond retorted as she started wearing the clothes.

[Oh! Is that so? And here I thought that you were dying to know about Kian’s twin!]

Upon hearing that, Diamond, who was trying to zip her jeans, abruptly stopped and looked at the flat screen mounted on the wall with a glare.

"Andrea, you....!"

On the flat screen, a tiger’s emoticon was busy scoffing, and seeing it, Diamond felt like smashing the TV.

[I was about to tell you about it but seeing how you want to lock yourself in the suite, then I might as well just keep the information to myself!]

Hearing Andrea’s gloating, Diamond felt as if smoke was coming out of her ears.

That was the problem with Andrea recently. He was becoming more human and that sometimes truly enrages her.

"You only know how to taunt me, don’t you?" she angrily complained as she looked at the screen.

[I am doing this for your good. If I don’t look up to you, who knows what you will do?]

Upon hearing that, warmth filled her as she started remembering everything Andrea had been doing for her.

"Fine, you win. Now, my good son, how about you tell your mother something about your second potential father?" Diamond coaxingly asked as she buttoned her jeans.

[Dress first and I will tell you on the way.]

Andrea refused to oblige and gave a condition.

When Diamond heard that, knew that Andrea was at it again, but since she couldn’t do anything to him, she decided to be obedient and get dressed.

After all, she was the one in the wrong in the first place.

Something that should have been finished a very long time ago ended up taking much longer simply because she couldn’t make up her mind.

Since she was dead curious to know more about Kian’s twin, Diamond hurriedly dressed and shortly she was carrying her handbag and, on her way, out.

When she stepped into the passage, Diamond was slightly taken aback when she came across her neighbor exiting the suite.

Since they had bumped into each other, Diamond couldn’t pretend as if she didn’t see each other, so she politely greeted them.

"Hello," as she politely nodded at the middle-aged woman who was elegantly dressed.

The woman smiled back at her before she returned the greeting to Diamond. "Hello to you too."

Seeing that the woman was friendlier than the young woman she shared the elevator with the previous night, Diamond’s anxiety vanished.

"Are you going out?" the woman suddenly asked her as the two of them walked towards the elevator.

Diamond, seeing the friendliness of the woman, didn’t raise her guard but answered honestly, "Yes, I am planning on seeing the city."

"Oh! That means that you must be a visitor and don’t stay in Dielas," the woman said, giving a glance at her.

"Yes, it’s my first time coming to the capital," Diamond didn’t deny it but said truthfully.

"You came here by yourself?" the woman asked as she sized Diamond.

The two had reached the elevator, and Diamond had just swiped the card to let the elevator come to the floor when the woman asked Diamond.

"Umm, I am here by myself. What about you, big sister?" Diamond asked smilingly as she looked at the woman with sparkling eyes.

Upon hearing the young lady calling her big sister, the woman was flustered for a moment before she chuckled softly.

"Hehe, I came with my husband," she joyfully responded.

"He must be a lucky one. I am Diamond, by the way," Diamond said as she introduced herself.

It would be too rude for Diamond to talk to the other without at least knowing what to call the other. One reason why she called her big sister. She didn’t dare call her madam. Something about that title sounded too heavy. And what if the other misunderstood her and felt as if she was trying to make her look older?

The woman smiled sweetly upon getting Diamond’s name.

"That’s a pretty name you have there," the woman complimented before continuing, "You can call me sister Rita."

Diamond smiled shyly at Rita after getting praised. She loved her name so much; it made her precious and made her feel as if she was a jewel.

And it was also nice knowing that Rita wanted to be called by first name. At least when they were calling each other like that, they would get close easily.

"It’s nice meeting you, sister Rita." Without any pressure crushing her, Diamond easily called the middle-aged woman’s name.

"Ding!" as they talked, the elevator finally reached the floor and opened.

Diamond didn’t enter first but waited for Rita to do so before she followed.

"So, Diamond, do you have any plans or where you want to see the most?" Rita asked curiously as the elevator headed down.

"Umm, I made a list, but I won’t be able to finish them in one day," Diamond answered.

"Oh! That’s good then. I thought that you didn’t have a plan. If it was that way, I wouldn’t have minded if you hung out with me," Rita regretfully said after hearing Diamond’s answer.

When Diamond heard that, she couldn’t help but feel touched. It was rare to meet a stranger who would want to take her out and show her around.

Although she hadn’t known Rita for long and the reason why she was so eager towards her, Diamond could tell that she wasn’t a bad person and didn’t have any ill intent towards her.

"How long will you be staying in Dielas?" Diamond asked instead of responding to Rita’s earlier statement.

Rita clasped her handbag securely in her hands as she answered, "Umm, we should be staying until next week. It will depend on how busy my husband will be."

Upon hearing that, Diamond beamed she joyfully said, "I will be leaving on Monday if things go well. How about we hang out weekend? I have a banquet to attend tomorrow, so I can’t be with you," suggesting.

"What kind of banquet is it?" Rita was very curious.

She was a party person and despite not living in Dielas; she was quite famous. And it was surprising to see someone who could freely talk to her without flattering and fawning over her like that.

Seeing how Diamond didn’t recognize her, she found it very amusing, and something in her compelled her to get to know the young lady. Besides, her skin was pretty good.

And just like any other woman out there, Rita was curious as to what products she was using. And only when they were close could she be able to ask about that.

And hearing about the banquet, she was even more curious about Diamond. What kind of family did she come from and from which city?

With a glance, she could tell that Diamond was rich, though she wasn’t sure about the sources.

It wasn’t surprising to meet a rich girl, only to find that she was being sponsored.

"She said it’s some celebrity kind. I will see properly when I go there tomorrow," Diamond answered vaguely as she was still not clear just what kind of banquet she was going to.

Hearing that answer, Rita couldn’t help but burst into laughter, finding Diamond’s actions very cute.

How could someone attend a banquet she didn’t have a clue about?

"The person that invited you, didn’t explain to you?"

"I was in a hurry and since I didn’t want to let her down, I agreed. Besides, I heard that a lot of celebrities would be there and I also get to do business. So, I agreed," Diamond earnestly answered.

If it wasn’t for getting clients and getting acquainted with other people her age, she would have politely rejected Kisha’s invitation.

"You are a funny one!" Rita couldn’t help but chuckle softly upon hearing that response.

"Hehe, just trying to be honest," Diamond shyly said as she rubbed her hands together.

"Ding!" before Rita could say anything, the elevator door opened, signaling that they had arrived on the ground floor.

"I guess that we are here!" Rita regretfully said as she took a step forward, exiting the elevator.

"Yeah, time was truly short."

"Maybe we should talk again and you tell me about the business of yours. What do you think?"

"I would love to, big sister!"
