Chapter 108: Chapter 106

’Alas, I am going to miss her so much when she starts school!’ Diamond mused as she waved goodbye to Ruby, who had successfully managed to send her off at the airport.

Earlier, Ruby had followed Diamond home from the foundation. Although she had regretted her little sister dodging work to send her off, she was still grateful to see that.

At least before going to an unfamiliar place, Ruby was there to send her off in person.

She also didn’t need to allow Aunt Janet to drive her to the airport or hire a taxi or Uber to go there.

In the end, she just felt gratified, as she loved the feeling of being sent by someone. It somehow reminded her that she wasn’t alone anymore and that her family was very close to her.

One hour later, Diamond was sitting comfortably in her first-class cabin as she read a magazine to pass off time.

There weren’t a lot of people in the cabin, so she was freer and enjoying the wonderful process of traveling.

The flight was three hours, and she prayed for safety.

Seated alone on the flight was quite boring, but with her reading magazines and newspapers, the boredom halved in some way.

The services provided on the plane were quite amazing, and Diamond enjoyed her flight greatly.

when she arrived in Dielas, the capital city, Diamond couldn’t help but be wowed by how magnificent the city was when compared to Frin.

She used to see Srad as a big city, a place where all dreams could be achieved, but when she saw the magnificent huge airport upon arrival and the several skyscrapers that filled the city, she knew that she was in for something wonderful.

For her stay in Dielas, it wasn’t going to be the same as it was when she went to Srad.

She didn’t own a house or a car in the capital city, so she was forced to book a suite at one of the best hotels in the city to stay in.

With billions lying around in her bank accounts, Diamond was no longer going to pretend as if she was poor, but she wasn’t going to act as if she was too rich as well.

To fully enjoy the luxuriousness of fancifulness of the capital city, Diamond booked an unexpected suite that came with so many benefits.

One of those benefits was a personal chauffeur who was currently at the moment helping her into a white stretched limousine outside of the hotel.

Since she didn’t have a car, she opted for a driver who could drive her everywhere during her stay in the city.

The limousine service was one of the best, and Diamond enjoyed a variety of snacks and champagne as she was driven to her destination.

Diamond’s choice of hotel was Ace Hotel. The hotel was part of a chain that was popular in Greatia, but throughout the continent of Orkney as well.

Ace Hotel was one of the five-star rated hotels and it provided its guests with so much luxury that was worth its price.

Of course, that was all from testimonies and reviews left by satisfied customers, as Diamond was looking forward to experiencing the hotel herself without relying on others.

Since it was the best, she went for it since she was capable. And with Andrea, nothing was impossible, especially when technology was involved.

When the limousine arrived at the hotel, the chauffeur kindly opened the door for her and helped her out of the car before dealing with her bags.

Diamond was welcomed warmly, and a porter helped to carry her luggage to the presidential suite she had booked.

The hotel assigned her a personal concierge who would assist her during her stay at the hotel, so everything was made simpler for her.

The presidential suite was gorgeous, and it provided her with a glamorous and expansive lounge, a wonderful lounge, a chic dressing room, and a state-of-the-art gorgeous bedroom. On top of that, there was a fully equipped kitchenette, which could be used for private meals.

Her concierge was female, and the woman was named Betty and she looked very friendly, so Diamond liked her at first sight.

When Diamond finished touring the suite, another female room attendant was already in the room waiting for orders.

Diamond had packed her belongings neatly in the suitcase instead of packing a few and keeping the rest in her storage ring.

Since there would be people serving her, she didn’t want these trained people to see something amiss about her. And found her suspicious if she were to wake up with new clothing that wasn’t there before when she didn’t go out.

The room attendant followed her instructions and sorted the clothes nicely and in an orderly fashion, for that matter.

As Diamond had left in the afternoon, by the time she was left with sorting the clothes and everything, dinner time was nearing.

"Miss, do you want to have your dinner brought to you or you will be eating in the restaurant?" Berry asked respectfully as she looked at Diamond.

Diamond rubbed her lips as she pondered.

She was a bit lazy to go anywhere, but if she didn’t go; it meant that she would be locked up in the room. And that would be bad for her.

She was still on a mission to make some friends. So, keeping to herself wouldn’t do her good. However, when she thought of freshening up and dressing up to go to dinner, she had mixed emotions.

However, a decision still needed to be made, so she went with one that was vital to her.

"I will eat at the restaurant. Help me reserve a table in the public section. I will be there in one hour," Diamond said as she looked at Betty, who was wearing a black suit that hugged her nicely, showing what a beautiful and voluptuous woman, she was.

"I will get that done. Is there something that you need?"

"No, I am cool for now," Darica said as she shook her head.

"Then I will see you later," Betty said as she dismissed herself.

Diamond waved her hand at her and watched as Betty confidently stepped out of the suite

With Betty gone, Diamond began to work in a hurry. With an hour remaining until she was needed at her table, she didn’t have time to play around.

Diamond first took a quick shower and washed away the sweat and fatigue. After bathing, she went through her hanging clothes in the dressing room for a fitting and suitable attire for the night.

Ace Hotel was a high-end hotel and Diamond didn’t want to embarrass herself. Money attracts money, and maybe with that, she would be able to make a few rich friends from the capital.

So, she picked a black off-the-shoulder sequin lace trumpet gown with a pair of slingback shoes.

Since it was a dinner for one person, Diamond decided to not exaggerate a lot, so apart from the storage ring she wore on her left thump, she didn’t wear any jewelry.

Feeling very satisfied with her look, Diamond instructed Andrea to take several selfies for her before she was on her way to the restaurant.

There were only two presidential suites in the hotel, and both of them shared the same floor.

So, Diamond couldn’t come across a lot of guests unless they were from the other suite.

Talking about the presidential suites, Diamond couldn’t help but recall the neighbor she failed to see in Srad. It was still a pity that she couldn’t see that young wife, as she was very interested in seeing her.

She couldn’t help but wonder as she looked at the opposite door whether she was going to see the occupant or if she would be as unlucky as she was back then.

She shook her head as she waved those thoughts away and headed for the elevator, where she scanned the card given to her by the concierge earlier

After that, she waited for the elevator to come to her floor. Diamond waited for a minute or so before the elevator doors were opened.

When the doors opened, a smile spread across her face as she saw three guests already standing inside. Everyone was dressed beautifully and handsomely.

With a polite nod at them, she stepped forward and entered the elevator as well.

The presidential suites and the penthouse suite were separated by one floor. The elevator she was taking was the one that was coming from the penthouse suite.

The three suites shared the same elevator, so apart from the guests staying there, she wouldn’t be sharing the elevator with other guests from other suites in the hotel.

It was a bit awkward in the elevator since no one was talking. However, Diamond was adamant about not talking at all. And that was more set-in stone after sensing the hateful glare from the other female who was with her in the elevator.

It wasn’t like she stole something from her. Why was she being so hateful when they weren’t acquainted with one another?

Luckily, the elevator shortly stopped at the restaurant floor, and Diamond stepped out of the restaurant, sending another nod at the three before leaving without looking back.

However, as she walked away, she couldn’t help but sneer as she overheard the three talking before the elevator doors were shut closed.

"Do you like the young type?"
