Diamond cut Kisha off before she could even continue and said, "Since I will be benefiting from your connections. I think it’s better if I pay for myself. Besides, I might be leaving for the capital early and staying after the banquet is over. I wouldn’t want to impose."

Kisha, upon hearing Diamond’s explanation, decided to not push much. It was already great for her that Diamond had agreed. If she were to force more, Diamond might end up refusing to go with her. And that would be bad.

Several people were already looking forward to meeting Diamond, and Kisha didn’t want to lose the opportunity to be associated with people she was dying to know before.

"Okay, I will communicate with you further."

After exchanging a few more pleasantries, the two ladies separated, and Diamond returned to her villa.

When she returned to the villa, Aunt Janet was busy as usual and Diamond went upstairs, where she took a long shower.

After showering, Diamond began to sift through her closet once again as she looked for something to wear.

Before she was planning on staying at home, watching some TV, and relaxing, but after getting the car before midnight, Diamond was planning on bringing the car back home.

She also wanted to road-test it and see what the car was capable of.

After sifting through the closet, she ended up picking up a pair of baggy jeans she bought alongside Ruby’s the previous day and a t-shirt.

She quickly put on her clothes and carelessly tied her hair into another bun.

As she tied her hair, she suddenly recalled how she was planning to go to the salon to get her hair done.

Maybe she could do that too after collecting the car instead of going on a drive and returning home to relax.

After changing, she packed her stuff inside the back pocket bag she bought the previous day as well.

With everything packed, Diamond left her bedroom, which was being cleaned by the smart robots diligently once again.

On her way to the ground floor, she came across a drowsy Ruby who was wearing her pajamas.

"Good morning, sis!" she greeted groggily upon seeing her.

"Good morning to you, too. Why are you up this early?" Diamond curiously asked, seeing how sleepy Ruby was and yet she was awake.

"I need to meet up with someone later. Where are you going?"

"Me? I need to go and pick up something and get my hair done," Diamond responded.

Upon hearing that, Ruby was no longer interested. She thought that her sister was up for something interesting, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.

"Okay, enjoy your day then."

Diamond chuckled softly upon hearing that. Wasn’t Ruby being a bit too direct in showing how uninterested she was in what she wanted to do?

Anyway, that was still fine for her. Since she didn’t want Ruby to be with her when she collected her car. It was better that way.

After seeing Diamond, Ruby returned to her room instead of going downstairs. In the end, Diamond was the only one who went to the dining room.

As she ate her breakfast, Diamond asked Aunt Janet for a favor. Since she was going to collect another car, Diamond didn’t want to drive another car, so she wanted Aunt Janet to drive her to the nearest bus stop.

Aunt Janet didn’t reject her but quickly prepared herself.

After filling her stomach, Diamond left the complex in Aunt Janet’s car. On the way, Diamond told her about the menu change that she thought of previously but went to bed without mentioning it.

Aunt Janet was quite clever and Diamond didn’t doubt that the woman would be ignorant to not know what to do.

The nearby bus stop was ten minutes away by car, and that’s where Aunt Janet dropped her.

after getting dropped there, Diamond waited for Aunt Janet to disappear from her view first before she summoned Andrea for a talk.

"Andrea, can you check if any cameras or any vehicle are approaching?" she asked.

After a while, Andrea replied, [there are no cameras but two cars are coming this way from that side.]

When she heard that, Diamond deflated, but she still asked, "Okay, how long would they take?"

[At the speed that they are moving, probably in five minutes.]

When she heard that, her mood brightened up, so she excitedly said, "That’s good, then. Just block anything with signals just in case I will be done in a second."

[Okay, already jamming the signal.]

With Andrea’s confirmation, Diamond quickly instructed in her mind, ’Collect the reward.’

Moments later, a light flashed, and a red car appeared right in front of her.

When she saw the car in person, Diamond was thrilled. It looked so damn good, and what she really loved was how the car was painted in one of her favorite colors.

Diamond didn’t waste time and went straight to the driver’s side, where she opened the car door with ease.

When she was entering the car, the sound of a car approaching at a high speed sounded.

She sighed with relief, knowing that she had managed to take the car out before the cars approached. Since those cars had nothing to do with her, Diamond closed the door and began to scrutinize the new car.

"Andrea, connect yourself to the car!" she instructed as soon as she started opening the several drawers.

[Already on it.]

Diamond managed to find the car keys and the blue book of the car. There was another document of purchase, which she found very interesting.

When she read it, she found out that the car came with a private home charging station that would be installed for her in two days at her villa.

Seeing that, she was relieved, as she truly didn’t intend to rely on public charging stations all the time.

"Can the car be modified?"

[I will look into it and see what changes can be made.]

"Okay, that’s enough for me. Just make sure that the battery lasts. I don’t want any funny situations to occur to me on the road."

[Okay, I will put more emphasis on that.]

"Sure, I will look forward to your modifications."

After talking to Andrea, Diamond switched on the ignition and began to drive the car away.

"This is a good one!" Diamond was very satisfied with the car, the more she drove it.

Since she was driving manually, she didn’t have time to store them in her storage ring. So, she just continued to drive, testing just how good and different the Pia was from her other cars.

Their next destination of hers was the saloon. Since her hair was too long, Diamond knew that the hairdresser would need a lot of time to make something beautiful out of it.

And she knew the right saloon to go to. She saw the saloon when she was shopping at the Treasure Mall the previous day.

There weren’t a lot of customers in that saloon since the prices were ridiculously high.

Ever since she earned some money; Diamond was taking the highway route. Whatever was expensive was worth it. There was a reason why it was priced that way.

Besides, she didn’t need to sit with a lot of people thanks to that price.

So, being familiar with directions, Diamond soon found herself parking in the underground parking lot once again at Treasure Mall.

After parking her car, she stored all the creams in her storage ring and picked up her bag from the seat before exiting the car.

With a push of a small button, the car automatically locked and Diamond started walking towards the elevator.

The saloon was on the ground floor, so she didn’t need to go that far.

After brushing shoulders with several people, Diamond finally arrived at the saloon that she had targeted.

"Welcome to Grace Hair Saloon. How may we help you today?" a beautifully dressed young woman politely welcomed her and asked.

"Umm ..." Diamond pondered as she looked at the huge poster behind the young woman that had several hairstyles that she could choose from.

"I want to plait cornrow," she said after some thoughts after seeing the few choices she had since her hair was ridiculously long.
