Shen Heyu stood still, looking down at Pei Yansi’s hidden features in the darkness, remaining silent.

Lu Yunlan noticed something was off and walked forward, also seeing Pei Yansi beneath the villa.

Lu Yunlan, being a pampered heiress, had grown accustomed to speaking her mind without filter, though she meant no harm.

With that harsh statement dropped, Pei Yansi moved to go upstairs to find Shen Heyu.

But when she looked at herself, that indifferent gaze held hints of pathological obsession and possessive compulsion.

This possessiveness, seen in Shen Heyu’s eyes, filled her with dread.

She knew that going back tonight would surely be inhumane torment.

Shen Heyu stood there, motionless and silent.
