She Asks for a Divorce Again -
Chapter 271: His Anger
Chapter 271: Chapter 271: His Anger
Lu Yi felt somewhat embarrassed by what he’d said.
In front of him, he spoke of his intention never to marry, but he indeed harbored inappropriate thoughts toward Shen Heyu.
Even though she was with Pei Yansi, he had never directly shown his feelings to Shen Heyu, at least not while she was with Pei Yansi, never demonstrating pursuit.
But he had to admit that he indeed had other thoughts.
Lu Yi felt he could no longer stay here; he had intended to come today to keep Shen Heyu company, only to discover that Pei Yansi was also present.
He suddenly felt like a clown.
Perhaps there were some things, some people, that he truly needed to let go of.
He stood up from the couch, his voice somewhat hoarse, and said softly to Shen Heyu, "I’m going to leave first."
Shen Heyu had been good friends with him for many years and quickly sensed something was off. She frowned and asked with concern, "Are you okay?"
Lu Yi looked deeply at her, nodded, and without waiting for her to say anything else, he strode away.
Shen Heyu watched his retreating figure, seeing him off at the door, sensing a sort of panicked escape in his footsteps.
Putting herself in his shoes, she realized that Pei Yansi’s words had been somewhat excessive.
She lowered her head to Pei Yansi and said, "You went too far today."
Pei Yansi sneered, a cold frost gradually spreading in his eyes as he looked at her: "Lu Yi covets my wife, comes to see you first thing in the morning; he indeed never pursued you directly, but such behavior is even more disgusting."
"I simply don’t know what you’re talking about," Shen Heyu’s voice also cooled down as she forcefully said, "You know he’s never directly pursued me, so on what grounds do you deprive him of the right to like someone?"
She had always rebuffed Lu Yi because she knew she didn’t have feelings for him, and besides, she was already tied to Pei Yansi.
But she had never said she’d stop Lu Yi from liking her.
She believed that, no matter what, he had the right to like someone.
She was trying to reason with Pei Yansi, but upon hearing her words, his face visibly darkened; he stared coldly at her,
"So according to you, you knew from the start about his feelings for you."
Shen Heyu was taken aback, not understanding why this was something to be angry about; she nodded, "So what? I’ve never accepted him; I’ve always clearly refused."
He was mad about this?
Pei Yansi abruptly grabbed Shen Heyu’s hand and pulled her into his embrace, then swiftly turned and forcefully pressed her down onto the couch.
His hands pinned her wrists above her head, not allowing her to move in the slightest.
He said coldly, "Knowing the situation, you still agreed for him to come here with us?"
"Do you really not like him?"
Pei Yansi was grinding his teeth; he had thought she’d always been unaware but turned out she was fully conscious of it.
He was becoming intolerable; if that was the case, then if he hadn’t been here, would she have spent the entire day with Lu Yi?
What did they consider that, a date, or what?
He bent his head closer to Shen Heyu, looking deeply into her eyes, "Look into my eyes and tell me, who exactly do you like?"
Was it possible that his place in her heart had long since diminished?
Did she still like him?
Shen Heyu clenched her teeth, struggling fiercely beneath him, "What are you going mad about? I don’t like anyone, including you, I will never like you, do you hear me!"
She too was angry, heedless of the consequences, always having to confront Pei Yansi directly.
She knew full well that he hated hearing this kind of talk the most, yet now, she just didn’t want to make things easy for him!
Why should this man always be so arrogant, imprisoning all of her, refusing to tolerate any defiance?
She just didn’t want to indulge him.
It must have been her constant acquiescence to him in the past that had spoiled his temper, making it ever more difficult to handle.
With this thought, her anger intensified as she said, "If it wasn’t for you forcing me to marry you, I wouldn’t have given you a single glance! Do you hear me, not a single glance!"
"Even Lu Yi, even if he’s just a friend, he means much more to me than you, a thousand times more!"
Pei Yansi’s eyes blazed with towering rage.
His gaze fixed on Shen Heyu grew darker and darker, with layers of danger emanating from within.
Shen Heyu’s heart thumped violently in response.
Her anger caused her chest to heave up and down.
Pei Yansi’s eyes wandered down, landing on her chest, his gaze becoming profound.
His body reacted quickly.
Shen Heyu realized the man’s abnormality in a second, and shock turned into real fear as she struggled more fiercely beneath him, "Pervert, let go of me!"
Pei Yansi gritted his teeth, "Don’t move!"
The more she tried to escape, the more excited he became.
Of course, he didn’t want to. But they had been apart for over a month, and he had abstained all that time.
Since last night, he had been barely able to hold back, and now it was morning, not to mention his patience.
Shen Heyu truly stopped moving then, looking at him timidly, "I know I was wrong, I was just spouting nonsense."
Seeing Pei Yansi’s gaze turn dark, she began to admit her mistake.
Pei Yansi let out a cold laugh, now she knew fear, but when she spoke those words earlier, she was clearly serious.
If not for his methods, she would not give him a second look.
He didn’t know if it was jealousy, anger, unreciprocated love, or self-reproach towards himself.
Pei Yansi’s heart was close to the brink of collapse.
Considering that their daughter was still sleeping in the guest room, he didn’t make much noise but simply grabbed Shen Heyu’s wrist, dragging her towards their bedroom.
"Let go!" Shen Heyu realized what the man intended to do, and terror shook her to the core, she leaned back in an attempt to lessen his pull, "Don’t do this..."
Pei Yansi ignored her pleas, pulled Shen Heyu into the room, kicked the door closed with the back of his foot, and then pushed her down onto the soft bed.
The bed bounced three times before finally stabilizing, and when she came to her senses and looked up, she saw Pei Yansi’s tall figure bearing down on her.
Pei Yansi lowered his head and kissed her deeply, blowing a ambiguous warm breath in her ear, and whispered, "You’re asking for this, since without my methods, you wouldn’t spare me a glance, then I should see these methods through to the end."
After these words, he cruelly reached out, stripping off Shen Heyu’s clothes with cool composure but urgent movements.
In a short while, Shen Heyu was laid bare beneath him.
The cold air sent a shudder of goosebumps across her body, Pei Yansi glanced sideways, and pulled the blanket over both of them.
...
This was the first time in over a month that Pei Yansi had touched Shen Heyu.
He was relentless, like a punishment, and when it was over, Shen Heyu was drained of strength, her eyes vacant.
Staring at the ceiling, she said wearily, "So, you’re never going to let me go. Is that it?"
