Chapter 266: Swear in Person
Chapter 266: Chapter 266: Swear in Person
He reached out his other hand, gently caressing Shen Heyu’s cheek with a soft and slow motion, so slow that it was a bit eerie, "Why run? Where would I let you go? I am your husband, holding you like this, isn’t it very normal?"
His words were grand and imposing.
And they were logical and well-reasoned, leaving no room for rebuttal.
He lifted his leg and covertly nudged Shen Heyu, who emitted a hum from the nudge, her brows furrowing tightly as she could no longer bear it and shouted, "What on earth do you want to do!"
Where he nudged was excessively over the line, and there were others around, yet he dared to deliberately prod her stomach.
Lifting her head, she saw the jealousy in Pei Yansi’s eyes—thick, like a raging storm.
Internally, she was speechless. This man was already prone to jealousy, and yet he had insisted on having Lu Yi follow along, wasn’t he just asking for trouble?
And now, he was using her to make a point.
Marking his territory on her.
"What am I doing?" Pei Yansi smiled slightly, earnestly saying, "Didn’t I say, your leg is numb, let me rub it for you?"
As he spoke, his hand moved to her knee, gently massaging.
He turned his head to look at Lu Yi, "She doesn’t need you."
Lu Yi watched the two of them, who appeared affectionate and inseparable, seemingly oblivious to the presence of others and intent on public displays of affection.
He sat back down beside Shen Jiangli, and didn’t speak again.
Shen Heyu was trapped in Pei Yansi’s arms, unable to move, but she could feel the burning gaze of Lu Yi and the others on her, as if trying to sear a hole through her.
She shifted slightly, only to meet Pei Yansi’s more forceful restraint. His gaze swept the room—a three-bedroom house. He asked, "You live in such a big place alone, do you usually stay by yourself? Or, does someone come over?"
Could it be that some stray man occasionally came to stay at her place?
Although Pei Yansi knew that during the time he kept her under surveillance, no other man had appeared.
But seeing how spacious the room was, and those two men were still on the other side of the sofa, their intentions towards Shen Heyu were clear as day; he felt insecure.
Not for her safety, but his own.
After all, she was married to him, those men could only look on. The important thing was, Shen Heyu didn’t want to be with him; she was being forced.
She might leave him at any moment.
The thought alone was unbearable to him.
So he held Shen Heyu tighter and tighter in his embrace.
She almost couldn’t breathe and didn’t dare to provoke him further, suddenly realizing that this man, when jealous, was even more frightening than when angry.
She quickly assured him, "No, there has never been anyone else."
Her words seemed to clarify for him that, besides him, no one had ever been by her side—not even in her heart.
Pei Yansi felt somewhat more at ease inside. He still held Shen Heyu, but he pressed her even tighter against him, shielding her face as he then turned to address the two men opposite, "You’ve had your visit; now you can leave."
Shen Jiangli frowned, well aware of what he meant, and said, "We want to spend more time with Heyu."
Lu Yi added, "We’ve come a long way; we can’t just leave after merely taking a glance."
As he finished speaking, he couldn’t help but criticize internally. Pei Yansi was indeed playing word games with them, all to assert his dominance.
Pei Yansi lowered his head, looking into Shen Heyu’s eyes, "Do you need their company?"
She uttered an "Ah."
How did it come to be that the problem landed on herself again? On one side was her good friend, Shen Jiangli aside—he hurt Shen Fanshuang—but as for Lu Yi, he had been by her side all these years.
How could she explain?
Friendship and love are inherently different, but to Pei Yansi, the only thing in his eyes was the same sex competing with him for a woman—he was jealous.
Shen Heyu didn’t speak, and to Pei Yansi, it seemed as if she was hesitating. The light in his eyes dimmed; he lifted her chin, and in front of the two men, he asked, "It seems you are in need."
His tone was light, but the light in his eyes was dangerous.
Shen Heyu knew he was losing patience, and even though she did not have such intentions, her hesitation, to him, was as good as an affirmative answer.
A jealous man’s thoughts always operate this way.
She sighed, "No, that’s not it."
"Then you don’t need it."
Pei Yansi directly answered for her, and after saying so, he lifted his gaze to look at the two men opposite him, his eyes now carrying an air of danger and warning, "Did you hear that?"
"She doesn’t need it, you can leave now."
Shen Jiangli got up from the sofa without changing his facial expression, bid Shen Heyu farewell, and really left.
Lu Yi looked at him, thought for a moment, and followed suit.
As soon as their door closed, Pei Yansi almost couldn’t restrain himself. He grabbed the back of Shen Heyu’s head and pressed her down, then tilted his own head back and fiercely kissed her lips.
He kissed her deeply and wildly, sweeping away Shen Heyu’s breath and everything she had, as if he wanted to plunder her completely.
She was nearly suffocated by his kiss.
Feeling her breath weaken, Pei Yansi came to his senses as if awakening from a trance and hurriedly let her go, "Can’t you breathe?"
He asked, reaching out to lift her shirt, and his broad palm lightly covered her.
He caressed her waist and back, his movements exceedingly gentle. Yet it was also tender, with a strangely affectionate touch, Shen Heyu felt her entire body soften instantly with his stroking.
Her whole body relaxed in his arms.
"You’re too bullying..." she complained softly.
Shen Heyu’s voice suddenly grew soft and coquettish, because Pei Yansi had softened her body, she was completely curled up in his chest, her face buried in his chest, speaking as if she was whining with a slight coyness.
Pei Yansi was taken aback, his body immediately reacting.
His breath grew hot, laden with intense desire, spraying onto the side of Shen Heyu’s ear, tickling her incessantly that she kept shrinking back.
"How have I bullied you?" he asked knowingly.
Meanwhile, Pei Yansi pressed her down, preventing her escape, and continued to deepen the kiss.
As she sensed the changes in Pei Yansi’s body, she became a little alarmed. She put her hand on his chest and pushed him away.
She backed away slightly, widening the distance between them, and gasping for breath, she said, "Don’t move, you promised you wouldn’t force me..."
Hearing this from Shen Heyu, Pei Yansi indeed stopped, which gave her some relief. This man still had a bit of conscience.
The man raised his hand, gently touched her cheek, and said, "Let me stay for a few days, to keep you company, is that okay?"
Shen Heyu shook her head, "You need to go back and be with your daughter."
They had come out without bringing their daughter, and at home only bodyguards and housekeepers were there—of course, he couldn’t always leave them to take care of his daughter.
Pei Yansi said, "I’ll go and bring her back, the three of us together, how about that?"
