After them came Ye Lingxia and Lang Yuxuan. While Lang Yuxuan was a new face in the industry, Ye Lingxia had already been around several years and already gained herself a popular fanbase.

Over the years, the three seniors had been honing their skills at captivating others with their charisma and appearance.

The two groups thus outshone the weakest group of all -- the duo of Shen Jingwei and Lin Ruoye.

Shen Jingwei’s fingers traced the delicate curve of Lin Ruoye’s ear as he gently tucked a stem of red rose behind it. The petals, a vibrant crimson, seemed to mirror the blush that painted her cheeks.

His gaze lingered on her, a soft smile playing on his lips. "You look absolutely stunning with a red rose, my Dear," he whispered, his voice low and intimate.

Lin Ruoye pressed a kiss against Shen Jingwei’s palm and coquettishly batted her eyelids at Shen Jingwei.

"Big Brother Shen, are you saying that I do not look stunning without this rose?" she pouted her lips in fake indignation.

"You look stunning every second of the day," Shen Jingwei replied as he took Lin Ruoye’s hand and pressed a kiss against her knuckles. "But this rose represents my endless love and devotion to you. Naturally, you look most beautiful in my eyes when my token of affection adorns you."

While the sight of the affectionate couple flirting seemed to leave the men unfazed, the women’s faces quickly soured.

Once they agreed on their first targets, Shen Jingwei and Lin Ruoye moved quickly.

The single men in particular were easily impressed by a young, delicate, and beautiful woman such as Lin Ruoye.

With a sweet smile, Lin Ruoye stopped a young man, his face immediately flushing at her attention. "Hello, Big Brother. Would you like to buy a red rose for your girlfriend?" she asked, her voice soft and inviting.

Lin Ruoye looked genuinely surprised.

"N-no, of course not!" He cried out. "It’s just that... I am generally shy and..."

Lin Ruoye lowered her voice and covered her mouth with a red rose as she spoke.

"Big Brother, could it be that... You are in love with someone?"

"Y-yes," he confessed, "but there is no hope. She is so cute and I am so ordinary-looking."

"Ah, Big Brother, don’t look down on yourself. Tell me, is it one of the ladies over there?"

The young man turned his head slightly before snapping his head back toward Lin Ruoye.

"I... It’s the girl in a pink blouse and red checkered skirt over there. It’s Xiao Le, my next-door neighbor. I have had a crush on her for years..."

Lin Ruoye leaned closer to the young man.

"Big Brother, if you cannot tell her how you feel with words, why not try by using flowers?"

The young man gulped.

"Do you think it will work? I think she has zero interest in me."

"If she is not interested in you, she wouldn’t be sneaking glances in your direction the whole time."

It was the exact boost of confidence the young man needed.

"In that case, I will buy one red rose!"

"A dozen roses symbolize a deeper level of devotion than a single rose."

The young man believed every single word Lin Ruoye said. He ended up buying twelve at once!

With that little bouquet in his hands, complete with a velvety red ribbon around the wrapping paper, he marched toward his love interest. Though his limbs were stiff from nervosity, his eyes were shining with determination.

"Xiao Le!" He called out, almost causing the girl’s heart to jump out of her chest. The young man thrust the bouquet of red roses toward Xiao Le.

"I have been in love with you for years! I think you are cute, amazing, and adorable! Please go out with me!"

Xiao Le looked like a deer in the headlights.

"I... I... B-but, Xiao Wu..."

At that time, Shen Jingwei appeared right next to Xiao Le.

"Oh, a bouquet of red roses," he remarked as he took the flowers from Xiao Wu’s hand. "What a fitting gift for a girl so beautiful."

Both Xiao Le and Xiao Wu gaped at this handsome man, who appeared out of nowhere!

"A man of true character never hesitates to show his affection for the love of his life."

Shen Jingwei’s lips curled up into a sweet smile as he spoke to Xiao Le.

"Young Miss, is this not the kind of man you want in your life?"

Captivated by the handsome man before her, Xiao Le was no different from a moth drawn to a flame.

"Yes," she said without blinking.

Shen Jingwei handed over the bouquet to her and clapped his hands.

"Congratulations to Xiao Le and Xiao Wu on finally committing to a relationship!"

The surrounding crowd unwittingly began to clap as well.

"Everyone, please come over to our stall! We have a lot of flowers to sell. Whether it’s for your crush, girlfriend, wife, or even mother, we have everything you need!" Lin Ruoye, already back at their stall, shouted while waving her hand excitedly.

"We also have a charming photo spot here," Shen Jingwei pointed toward a cozy corner at the front side of the flower shop, right behind their stall. The backdrop happened to be decorated with red, pink, and white roses, elegantly woven into a gigantic heart. It was the perfect spot for a romantic photo.

"We would love to take your pictures together with your loved one!"

"We are going to put up your pictures in the flower shop to record this historical moment!"

"We are only here until 5 PM, so please hurry!"

Once a couple successfully formed, the others, particularly the young ones, were filled with excitement.

Before long, a jaw-dropping long line formed in front of their stall, as opposed to the two others.
