"What is going on here?" Wu Jin roared, but he had both hands up in a surrendering gesture. "Why are you raiding my suite???"

The ladies were hauled to their feet and the officers covered them with the blankets they brought.

The one who answered Wu Jin was none other than the leader of the operation.

"Apologies, Mr. Wu," he said with a disdainful smirk across his face. "We received an anonymous report about a debauched activity taking place in this hotel."

Wu Jin scoffed.

"What debauched activity? These ladies are my girlfriends. The sexual activity taking place here is done with consent by all parties."

"Oh yes, consent indeed."

The leader held up a file at Wu Jin’s eye level.

"But do you know that your youngest paramour here is only sixteen years old?"

"...!!!"

Shang Ruohai, who was relaxing in his own apartment with a good book and a chilled glass of wine, received one message after another on his phone barely ten minutes later.

"As agreed, we ambushed him in the middle of his orgy party."

What followed was a slap so hard it sent Wu Jin tumbling to the carpeted floor.

"You asshole," he cursed while aiming kicks at Wu Jin’s stomach. "You son of a bitch."

Wu Jin endured the beating without a single complaint.

And yet, before Shang Ruohan could abuse his champion any further, Shang Xiaoyi’s secretary knocked at his door and solemnly summoned him to the top floor.

Shang Ruohan took a deep breath and straightened his collar. Before he walked out of the door, he shot Wu Jin one last destructive glare and hissed, "I am not done with you. You better pray that we can still salvage the situation."
