He didn’t even send any updates about Yan Renzhong’s condition.

Mother Shen and Shen Dou Dou sat together at the living room after dinner, pondering over the situation at hand.

While the character was initially portrayed as a humble and agreeable alpha who took care of orphan children in an orphanage, his real character was revealed at the end of the second season.

This shooting period also marked the first time Shen Jingwei and the other cast members got to see Jin Zhuo’s acting skill in person.

When asked to comment on Jin Zhuo’s performance, each cast member had their own opinion.

Lin Ruoye would say, "It’s very good for starters!"

Feng Jietang would say, "It is passable."

Yan Renzhong would say, "He has a lot to work on."

But Shang Ruohai, whose opinion actually mattered, mercilessly said, "My grandfather can deliver a more convincing act. He is 94 years old, blind, and suffers from advancing Alzheimer’s."
