"CUT!"

A round of applause followed.

"Good job, good job everyone!" Vice Director Qin cried out.

Crew members poured into the set to clean the fake blood from the floor.

The decapitated demon kings rose from the dead and popped their heads past their collars to get some air.

Shen Jingwei pushed himself to a sitting position after the spear blades were removed from his neck.

"Sorry, was I too rough?" Wu Jin extended his hand toward Shen Jingwei, who took it with gratitude.

"It’s fine. It would appear fake if you were overly gentle."

Wu Jin beamed at him.

"This is my first acting role. Naturally, I am doing my best to not disappoint."

"You did well for a first-timer," Shen Jingwei said graciously while patting dust off his robe. The costume team loved omega clothings dearly. They always screamed bloody murder when they saw the tiniest dirt on the clothes.

"Really? If you say it like that, I might just abandon my singing career to pursue the glorious path of thespianism," Wu Jin replied with a wink.

"Oh, no, Mr. Wu, you can’t!" The female background actress who played the demoness lady-in-waiting squealed. Apparently, she had been lurking around the whole time, waiting to talk to Wu Jin.

"If you quit singing, the sky will crumble for sure! What will we do without you?"

Wu Jin laughed.

"Little Qing, aren’t you praising me too much? I am not the brightest star in the universe. You will survive, I assure you."

"No, Mr. Wu, I won’t accept it! Please continue singing!" She wailed.

Wu Jin waved at her as she was ushered away by a crew member.

"Miss, you are needed for the next scene. Please get ready!"

"Mr. Wu! Let’s get to know each other better later!" She shouted before disappearing from sight.

"Do you know her?" Shen Jingwei asked. Fans were always a little frantic when meeting their idols. Unexpectedly, even fellow celebrities gushed the similar way.

"Not for long. She and the other background actresses asked for my autograph when we met for the first time in this set. They are all promising newcomers in the industry. She, in particular, has big dreams."

"Oh."

Now Shen Jingwei was a little bit more ashamed of himself.

How could he not know who Wu Jin was, again? Did he live under a big rock?

"Shen Jingwei! Lin Ruoye!" Vice Director Qin called out. "Prepare for the next scene!"

"Yessir!" Both answered in unison before piling into the next set.

Wu Jin, still clothed in his First Demon King attire, watched from the sidelines with a lot of interest.

Shen Jingwei was not bad, he thought to himself. Too bad they were on opposing sides. Otherwise, they could even be friends.

"Little Wu, your phone."

Wu Jin turned toward his manager, who brought him his phone. "Mr. Shang has been calling many times."

"Mmm, I know."

Wu Jin took the phone from Duan Sizhe and stepped away from the shooting crowd.

"Mr. Shang?" He spoke as soon as the call was connected.

"Wu Jin, how is everything going over there?"

"Pretty good," Wu Jin answered while throwing a glance at Shen Jingwei, who performed several acrobatic movements to defend himself from Lin Ruoye’s attack. "We are on good terms, he and I."

"In that case, shouldn’t you start?"

Wu Jin smirked to himself. His sponsor was always so impatient.

"Of course, Mr. Shang. I am thinking about that as well. Wait until tonight. Prepare yourself for a delightful surprise."

After shooting half the act for an entire day, Vice Manager Qin concluded the filming of the day at 6 PM.

And so began the fun time for the crew and cast, save for the production team members who were stuck in their big tent and busy editing the scenes.

Shen Jingwei just finished taking a shower in one of the portable shower rooms when he heard voices outside his tent.

"Senior Shen!" Lin Ruoye cupped her mouth with both hands and called out.

"Shen Jingwei, are you decent?" Wu Jin shouted as well. "Can we come in?"

Shen Jingwei, his hair still wet and a towel draped around his neck, blinked at his two colleagues.

Unlike him, who was preparing to sleep early tonight, Lin Ruoye and Wu Jin looked like they were going on a date in the middle of the night. Lin Ruoye even re-applied her make-up.

"What’s up, you two?" Shen Jingwei asked, a little dumbfounded.

Lin Ruoye and Wu Jin exchanged smiles before they turned to Shen Jingwei with the great news.

"Senior Shen, Senior Wu is offering to give everyone some beginner’s singing lessons," Lin Ruoye chirped excitedly. "Would you like to join us?"

"Huh? Singing lessons?"

"Yeah." Wu Jin tilted his head to the side and shot Shen Jingwei a dazzling smile. "I am learning how to act from you guys. Everyone has been so helpful and kind. It is just fair if I teach you all how to sing.

That way, if any of you ever want to start your career in singing, you already have your basics covered."

Diversifying one’s skills was never a bad idea, particularly in the entertainment industry. Wasn’t that the reason why Yan Renzhong opted to master as many skills as possible?

"Sure," Shen Jingwei happily agreed. "Wait for me, I am coming out soon."

"Yay!" Lin Ruoye cried out.

"You won’t regret it," Wu Jin said with an unknown smile.

The CEO is always referred to as the CEO, or CEO Shang.

Shang Ruohan and Shang Ruohai are both managers.

Those close to the family will usually refer to them as Eldest Young Master Shang and Second Young Master Shang respectively.

Otherwise, people would call both Mr. Shang.

One more hint : other than Yan Renzhong who calls Shang Ruohai by his full name, younger celebrities will always refer to Shang Ruohai as "Senior Shang".
