Chapter 226: Chapter 112: Rat King’s Innate Talent Skill_1
"Absolute Validation? Are you saying it has the innate talent skill of Absolute Validation?" Upon listening to Long Dangdang’s explanation, Long Kongkong glanced at the giant fat rat squirming before him, a faint glimmer of light finally appearing in his eyes.
Long Dangdang nodded and said, "Yes, that should be correct. This giant rat is no pushover."
"Enough fooling around. Get up." Long Kongkong said, nudging Rat King with some disdain.
Indeed, Rat King ceased its struggles, prompting Long Kongkong to relinquish his blood pact suppression.
The Rat King quietly rose from the ground. It understood that there was no resistance to an already established blood pact. As often said, a clever rat does not snatch food right before its eyes. Even though it was filled with anger, there was nothing it could do before these two identical brothers.
"Alright, spill the beans. What abilities do you possess?" Long Kongkong nudged it with his foot.
The Rat King squatted on the ground, silent. Its inability to resist didn’t mean it would comply.
"Oh, you’ve got some guts, don’t you?" Long Kongkong, getting irked by its attitude, raised his hand and gave it a fierce knock. He dealt with the Rat King the same way Long Dangdang had dealt with him.
The Rat King angrily lifted its head, exposing its small golden teeth to him!
"What now? Disagree, huh? Too bad, you’re already my pact partner. The Blood Pact is something that holds one tightly down. You were the one who attacked us first. It wouldn’t be wrong if I hit you, would it? Fine, I won’t hit you. Wouldn’t want to be accused of mistreating harmful creatures. Now, I will just control you with the pact. From now on, get hungry. We’ll put you on a diet first. Look at your belly, it’s like a balloon."
Upon hearing his words, the Rat King’s small eyes widened in surprise, from a green pea to the size of a soybean. "Hey, um... don’t stop feeding me. I’ll talk."
Long Kongkong’s eyes lit up. He exchanged a glance with Long Dangdang. This was a weakness! It was truly, as expected, a gluttonous old rat. It surrendered much quicker than they had anticipated.
"Alright, spill it out. What abilities do you possess?" asked Long Kongkong, nonchalantly sitting in front of Rat King.
After a moment of silence, a somewhat reluctant Rat King said, "I’m not fat, it’s my innate ability. I am Sky Devouring Rodent. My innate talent skill is Devour Heaven and Earth, which allows me to evolve by consuming all living creatures."
"So, your ability is eating?" Long Kongkong asked, surprised.
The Rat King nodded in agreement.
Then Long Dangdang asked, "And the Absolute Validation ability you mentioned earlier?"
The Rat King glanced at him. "That’s my talent, All Before Rat’s Eyes. Anyone within a certain range who is stared at by this ability of mine will be absolutely frozen and unable to move for one second."
"Is that all?" Long Dangdang continued his probe.
The Rat King simply nodded.
"Not right, you dare to deceive me." Long Kongkong suddenly said, "When you first appeared, what was that ability of yours that made a snapping sound that could have burnt me to death?"
The Rat King hesitated for a moment before finally confessing, "That’s also an innate talent ability, bloodline judgment. If the bloodline strength of others is inferior to mine, they would be suppressed."
Long Dangdang narrowed his eyes. "So, All Before Rat’s Eyes and the bloodline suppression are all to serve Devour Heaven and Earth, which is basically your core ability, right? Can you evolve only by consuming living organisms, or can you also consume energy?"
The Rat King scratched his head with his front paw, "I can only devour living organisms. I can’t absorb purely energy."
"And what about that long tail of yours?" Long Dangdang said, glancing at its tail. "It’s not just for show, is it?"
Long Kongkong suddenly opened his eyes wide, "Still holding back, huh? Not speaking the truth? Fine, starve for three days!"
"Wait, wait! My tail is basically a weapon and not an innate talent. It’s just part of my body. It’s quite tough and can be used as a whip or for carrying food."
Long Kongkong chuckled, "So you’re a foodie, and everything you do is for food?"
The term "foodie" triggered a wave of shame and anger in the Rat King’s small eyes. Foodie? It dared to call him a foodie?! In the past, he was known to have devoured an entire planet! The Sky Devouring Rodent was a name that trembled all creatures in fear.
Long Dangdang seemed to have thought of something and searched the Rat King. "Perform a bloodline judgment on it, let me see." He pointed to Little Eight in his arms as he spoke.
Without needing a judgment, the Rat King said, "No need to judge. I can’t suppress it, but it shouldn’t backfire against me. However, if it lets me eat it, my bloodline judgment should be enhanced, and I should be able to advance a grade."
Long Dangdang turned to Long Kongkong. "Fancy some roast rat?"
Rat King: "....."
Long Kongkong snapped annoyed, "Hey, foodie if you ever think of eating my brother’s dragon again, we’ll eat you first. Hmm, foodie will be your lifelong nickname from now on."
Rat King: "....."
Long Kongkong came to it, spread his legs, and sat down comfortably on the big meatball Rat King. Now it didn’t seem so bad to sit on.
Rat King: "Is this humane?"
A furious Long Kongkong retorted, "You should be thankful I even tolerate you. I was trying to summon a mount companion, and you messed it up. Do you think I want to be a rat knight?"
The Rat King bitterly said, "How was I to know you would do this? How was I to know my bloodline judgment would be counteracted by you? Do you think I wanted this?"
