Chapter 222: Chapter 110: Long Kongkong’s Mount Partner_1

After a thorough search of the first planet, he didn’t sense any strong aura. Most of the auras he felt were weak, so weak they were practically imperceptible. The level of life on this planet seemed rather low.

Not wanting to waste time, he promptly turned his attention to another planet and continued his search.

But no, still nothing. Auras carried strength but their attitude towards him was far from amicable. It was evident that they did not accept him. Long Kongkong felt this might be a similar problem to the one with the magical beasts of the Knights’ Holy Mountain. If that were true, this was still going to be somewhat troublesome!

Then came the third planet, its situation slightly better than the first two. Next up were the fourth, fifth, and the sixth planets...

The initial hope that filled Long Kongkong was gradually turning into disappointment. There were powerful auras but they distanced themselves almost instantly after he made contact. They didn’t even give him a chance to attempt any communication. Such blatant rejection made Long Kongkong grow restless.

He could also feel that it was becoming increasingly hard to stay in this place. In the simplest of words, he was running out of time.

Onto the ninth planet!

Long Kongkong was now fully resolved. As long as he found a powerful aura, he would immediately try to communicate and contract with it, without any hesitation, in hopes of succeeding swiftly and decisively.

His spiritual power started sweeping across the planet. He quickly discovered that the life forms on this planet had auras that were unanimously strong. Compared to the previous planets, they were evidently much stronger. As soon as he sensed one creature, he wanted to contract with it, but then he felt another aura, stronger than the first. Chasing after a powerful mount was his ultimate wish after all!

Next was the third powerful aura, stronger than the second. Amidst strong, terrifying auras, one after another were stronger than the previous. Long Kongkong’s heartbeat accelerated in tandem. Was it finally his turn to have good luck? Was it finally time to get an extraordinary mount?

In that moment, all the auras he was sensing vanished. Long Kongkong felt his mind go blank. Had they disappeared?

What was happening? His excitement cooled instantly, but before he could start feeling disappointed and distressed, in the next moment, an overwhelmingly domineering aura suddenly barged into his senses.

"Foreign intruder? Is your planet rich and beautiful?" An authoritative and deep voice echoed in Long Kongkong’s mental spirit ocean. He was taken aback. This extraterrestrial creature was capable of initiating communication with him. The aura was not only domineering but terrifying as well, leaving him with a feeling of oppression similar to facing the Dragon Emperor, or even worse.

"Yes, yes, indeed! My planet is extraordinarily beautiful. Would you like to visit?" Long Kongkong hurriedly replied with a tempting tone.

"Agreed, let’s sign the contract." The domineering voice didn’t show the slightest hint of hesitation.

"Let’s go!" At that moment, Long Kongkong felt so exhilarated that his heart nearly leaped out of his chest.

Contract, contract. He repeated it silently in his mind. Soon, golden ripples began to radiate from his body. The communication between him and the far off entity strengthened instantaneously. A contract rune glowing blood-red naturally came into existence.

According to the rules of the Knights’ Holy Mountain, if one chose to summon an extraterrestrial creature as a mount here, one must contract with it and not abandon it. For the knights’ protection, the contract they formed was a blood pact. If the other party did not agree, the contract could not be signed. Once a blood pact was signed, the knight would have absolute dominance over the extraterrestrial creature.

What Long Kongkong was trying to establish at this moment was indeed a blood pact.

In a far-off planet.

In a giant crater strewed with wreckage, a rich smell of blood permeated the air. Amidst this crater resided an enormous entity emitting a blinding, golden radiance.

A blood pact rune was gradually forming in front of it.

A slow smirk began to appear at the corners of the extraterrestrial creature’s mouth. "A blood pact, isn’t that lovely? Haven’t had much to eat in this realm anyway. Might as well change my dining location. Poor little fellow, thanks for providing the bridge to another world. Do you really think a paltry blood pact could control me? One of my inherent abilities is bloodline appraisal. After I arrive, through bloodline appraisal, this blood pact will reverse. If you please my eyes, I might allow you to become my servant. Otherwise, you’ll simply be my meal."

As it spoke, it raised its head and breathed onto the blood pact rune. The next moment, the red rune quickly enlarged, covering its entire body.

"Oh? It reduces my power based on my contracting party’s strength? This realm is indeed quite interesting. Unfortunately, as long as I reverse the blood pact through bloodline appraisal, my strength shall return instantly. The new world, here I
