Chapter 578: Chapter 385: Prehistoric Civilization or Aliens?_2

Sean Knight withdrew the force on the trigger—shooting a wolf here shouldn’t be illegal, right?

Gradually, four more wolves appeared slowly behind the first one.

They didn’t leave the dense forest but stared at the movements of the first wolf.

Sean thought about it and decided that there was no need to kill all these wolves, so he aimed again at the first wolf.

That wolf had slowly crawled to the stone binding where Aiden had been blown apart. If it went any further, Sean wouldn’t be able to see it.

He hesitated no more, aimed for the wolf’s head, and pulled the trigger.

"Bang!"

A faint sound rang out, and a bloody hole appeared on the wolf’s head, then it tilted to one side and stopped moving.

The wolves behind it were startled by the noise.

Elijah Hastings and the others were digging, and Lincoln Harrington seemed to hear the commotion, turning his head to look at Sean.

Sean waved his hand to signal that everything was fine, and Lincoln continued digging holes.

Sean wished those few wolves would run away, but they didn’t.

They were just curious as to why the front wolf wasn’t moving anymore.

Sean simply aimed at the tree next to the first wolf and fired a shot.

The first wolf jumped in fright and turned to run!

The other wolves quickly followed suit and retreated.

That’s more like it!

Sean put away his gun and stood up, watching the wolves leave.

However, to his puzzlement, the wolves didn’t run far, just over 100 meters, and then they went into a stone cave.

Sean looked at the cave, and to his surprise, there was a glow there!

As he glanced over from here to the cave, he realized that place was also part of the megalithic site!

What on earth was glowing?

Sean was a bit curious, so he picked up his gun, jumped down from the large stone, and walked towards it.

With the gun in his hand, he didn’t care much about those few wolves.

Strolling over, Sean aimed his gun at the cave entrance and fired a shot, which was followed by a wolf howl, and then the wolves quickly ran out of it.

As the leading one came out, it barked at Sean, who shot straight through the wolf’s ear, making a bloody hole!

The few wolves immediately knew something was wrong and turned to run away. Sean came to the entrance of the cave, which was quite smaller compared to the others.

The entrance was about three meters high and one and a half meters wide, quite normal in size.

After careful observation, Sean found that the glowing object was something inside the cave entrance being reflected by sunlight.

Sweeping through with his Sky Eye, he found that the cave was quite deep, about 20-30 meters, not visible at first glance.

However, as he looked inside, he could see that the ceiling of the cave was inlaid with gemstones and uncut diamonds the size of fingernails!

Sean was somewhat excited; this trip was really worth it!

There were at least dozens of gemstones inlaid on the ceiling of the cave alone!

He turned around and saw that Elijah and the others hadn’t come over yet, so he entered the cave, took a ladder and tools from within his spatial realm, climbed up, and began to pry the gemstones from the cave ceiling.

Sean used a slightly rough method to speed up the process.

However, his current strength and fine control were quite good, so he managed to pry off more than a dozen gemstones and diamonds without damaging any of them.

Sean paused, looked down, and noticed that quite a few bone fragments were in the cave.

Most likely, they were remnants of food dragged back by the pack of wolves.

The bone fragments emitted a putrid smell, so Sean had to hold his breath and continue working.

From beginning to end, it took him nearly an hour.

He put away the ladder, packed the gemstones in a bag, and held it in his hand. Sean activated his Sky Eye and looked again at the ground.

Unfortunately, there was nothing buried underneath, which disappointed him.

He didn’t understand how this ordinary-looking stone cave could have so many gemstones inlaid on its ceiling.

As he walked out from the inside, he finally saw it, the exquisite murals on the walls of both sides!

The murals were drawn using colorful pigments. Despite their age, there were still some colorful residues left.

However, the painted objects were too abstract and artistic for Sean to recognize what they were.

He took out his mobile phone and took pictures of these murals before heading out of the cave.

He looked around nearby and found two more caves built along the mountain not far from this one, but there were no gemstones inside.

Sean Knight headed up the mountain.

"Boss, where are you?" Elijah Hastings yelled from the mountain.

"I’m here!" Sean replied, and then he saw Elijah’s head popping out.

"I found something down there..." Sean lifted the bag of gemstones he was holding.

"This wolf was killed by you, right?" Douglas Cooper also showed his head, "Lincoln Harrington said it was you."

"Yes." Sean nodded, "It probably wanted food, but it crossed the line."

"Did you find any good stuff?" Oscar Knight’s voice came over, "We dug up a lot of broken weapons here, all made of bronze."

"Gemstones, I have a lot of gemstones." Sean walked onto the megalithic site, opened the bag, and let them see the gemstones he had pried off.

"Boss, don’t be like that!" Douglas said with a "resentful" expression, "Every time we hunt for treasure, you always find the most valuable stuff... My heart is always hurt..."

"Here’s one for you, as consolation." Sean casually picked up a diamond and handed it over, "This is a diamond."

"No, no, no! I was just kidding." Douglas quickly waved his hand, "Boss, don’t take it seriously, I’m just purely envious, not jealous, just envious! Actually, we’ve also gotten a lot of stuff."

Fearing that Sean wouldn’t believe him, Douglas hurriedly brought over some of the things they had dug up.

Indeed, there were quite a few, especially the bronze sticks.

He didn’t know what had been added to this stick body, but the rust traces were not very obvious.

"They can be antiques." Sean nodded, "I’ll find someone to help you take them back later."

After that, they stayed here for two more days. Sean told them to seal the stuff in a mountain cave, saying he would contact someone to transport it later.

In fact, he secretly put the stuff directly into his spatial realm.

Two days later, they left the place, went to the highway, paid money to hire a villager with a car to take them to Berlin Town at a high price.

Then they took a plane back to the domestic area.

In the inn, Sean’s room had three big bags.

He called Elijah Hastings, Lincoln Harrington, and Douglas Cooper to his room.

"These three bags are your stuff." Sean said, "I found someone to bring them back. You can take them now. But how to ensure they are safely taken back to your homes is up to you."

In the megalithic site, besides the things they dug up themselves, Elijah and the other two each took more than a dozen tiger bones.

They all knew this stuff was good, so no one refused."

As for the tiger skin, the things on the bear’s body, and the deer’s body, they didn’t have the ability to bring them back, so they left all of them to Sean.

"Here’s a gemstone for each of you, as a reward for your hard work this time. I won’t give you money." Sean took out three small flower bags and handed them to the three men:

"A one-month vacation should be enough for you to stay at home and enjoy. Gather at my house in one month. We have activities to do next."

Douglas immediately leaned in to ask:

"Boss, what are we doing next?"

"Don’t ask now." Sean said, "Just enjoy your vacation, and regain your energy to talk about it later. If I tell you now, I’m afraid that you might let it slip, and that would be bad!"

Douglas looked wronged:

"Boss, now my vacation won’t go well."

Sean ignored him and continued:

"So, you can leave now. Call me if you need anything."

Since they were all grown men and this was not the first time they had parted ways, Elijah and the other two picked up their bags and left after saying goodbye.

After the three men left, Sean called Oscar:

"Brother, let’s go home too. I booked a car, and we’ll drive all the way back."

Oscar looked apprehensive:

"Sean, do you think I’ll get hit by Grandfather when I go back?"

"Whether Grandfather hits you or not, I don’t know, but Dad will definitely scold you." Sean chuckled, "Who told you to make them worry for half a month!"’

"Sigh! I regret it now! How did I get confused at that time?"

Sean returned home reluctantly.

What awaited him was definitely more than one scolding.

And Sean was thinking about how to use tiger bones and other medicinal materials to make wine.
