Chapter 533: Chapter 363: Don’t Be Too Arrogant in My Domain_2

So, Lambert developed an arrogant and egotistical character, and his lustful nature remained unchanged, if not worsened.

If Guye wasn’t so famous and hadn’t salvaged many treasures, gaining recognition in the industry, Lambert might have been taught a lesson long ago.

Obviously, Guye was not happy about falling into the water today.

Lana Brown had no choice but to take Lambert to her own yacht.

Although she was very careful not to let Lambert take advantage of her, Lana Brown still felt disgusted.

So, when Lambert was about to take the yacht out for a spin, Lana Brown immediately found an excuse to leave her yacht and came to Sean Knight’s yacht.

"Mr. Knight, you really are comfortable. I was almost taken advantage of. You need to compensate me!" Lana Brown half-jokingly scolded Sean.

Sean smiled and said:

"Having someone pursuing you proves Miss Brown’s charm."

"What are you talking about!" Lana wiped her hands with a wet towel and then threw it into the trash can with disgust, "I feel sick. Mr. Knight, Guye isn’t too happy; starting tomorrow, he might only show up to work and not really put in effort..."

"You keep an eye on him, and once we get to the target sea territory, we’ll also dive to check. Don’t forget, I’m known as the lucky little prince. I might find the sunken ship before he does!"

Sean was so confident that Lana couldn’t believe it, but she had no other choice. Her moves were not being picked up by Sean.

Now Lana even doubted whether choosing him as her partner was a mistake.

However, considering that the target sea territory was indeed near Big Island and having Sean around could save her a lot of tax money, she endured it.

What a difficult bunch to serve!

If it weren’t for her own freedom, she would never have been so compromising!

Due to this resentment, Lana Brown stayed on Sean’s yacht that day, enjoying surprisingly delicious lunches and dinners, until Lambert brought her yacht back and left.

The second day, Lana boarded the salvage ship and sent Sean the nautical chart with the target sea territory marked.

"Let’s go." Sean, who was drinking seafood porridge, placed the map on the yacht’s control table and said, "From now on, it’s all about our underwater skills!"

"We can’t do it, boss. It’s up to you." Douglas Cooper was blatantly flattering Sean, "We’ll be fine just following you and enjoying the spoils."

On this trip, Sean did not discuss payment with Elijah and the others, but they knew that as long as Sean got something valuable, they would not be mistreated.

The salvage ship slowly began to move, but Sean couldn’t wait any longer and simply sent a message to Lana, taking the yacht ahead of them.

Watching Sean and his group quickly leave from the deck, Lana felt a bit frustrated but could not curse at them.

She had to deal with the lecherous Lambert and improve her relationship with Guye, so seeing Sean leave so easily stressed her out.

So, after sending Lambert away, Lana vented her frustrations in a message to Sean.

Sean replied succinctly:

"You are the boss, the supervisor, not the secretary! If you continue to be meek toward someone like Guye, he will keep bullying you!

Isn’t there a responsibility clause in the contract? If he doesn’t put in effort, threaten to cut his pay! Don’t degrade yourself; you are the boss!"

Sean reminded her in good faith because he thought Lana’s attitude was not bad; if she persisted in her wrong ways, he would stop caring.

The target sea territory was only a few sea miles from Big Island. Though it was actually a disputed area between three countries, since it was slightly off the route of modern waterways, there were no boats nearby.

After stopping the yacht, Elijah and his team soon reported the actual data to Sean:

"The water depth here is between 30 and 50 meters. We haven’t found any underwater cliffs so far.

The underwater environment is not too complicated, mainly consisting of rocks, coral reefs, small currents, and ocean trenches. You’ll need to dive down to get more specifics."

"Alright, one person stays, and the rest of us will dive."

Sean put on his diving equipment and dived into the sea.

In Swan Lake, Sean had more or less mastered his diving skills. Although they were now in the sea, he was not intimidated at all, considering he had already battled the monster and had nothing to fear.

As Sean dived down, he found that the underwater environment here was far more abundant than in Swan Lake.

With the sun shining, the light reached far, the water was cleaner, and the colorful marine life was much more beautiful than what could be found in an aquarium.

After playing underwater for a while, Sean Knight began diving deeper, planning to take a look around and see if there was anything to gain.

Sean dove for half an hour and when he came up, he discovered the salvage ship had already anchored nearby.

According to the message sent by Lana Brown, the salvage ship had turned on its radar and started scanning underwater.

"Let’s stay further away from them," Sean said to the others after they surfaced, "to avoid being detected by the radar."

As soon as their yacht was about to move, Lana sent a message asking Sean to bring the yacht over as she wanted to stay on board.

Sean immediately refused and provided a grand reason:

"As the boss, it’s not good to be slack on your first day! At least on the first day, you should show some professionalism! So it’s best for you to stay on the salvage ship today and watch them work. Of course, looking stern might be even better."

Having said that, the yacht moved further away from the salvage ship, stopping at a distance of one kilometer.

Watching Sean and his friends diving in and out of the water on the yacht and even starting a seafood barbecue, Lana Brown grinded her teeth in envy!

Perhaps holding some resentment, she was originally making polite small talk with Lambert. Now that he came closer to flatter her, Lana finally couldn’t take it anymore and said coldly:

"Mr. Lambert, we are working now. If you have nothing to do, please don’t disturb my work!"

She then headed towards the workshop.

Lambert hadn’t expected Lana to change her attitude so quickly, and it took him a while to realize that he had been played!

Annoyed, Lambert went to the captain’s room and told his father what had happened.

Guye believed half of Lambert’s embellished version, but he had his own plans.

The Brown family was well-established in Beautiful Country. If Lambert could marry Lana, he would be considered very fortunate, and having a family should stabilize him.

However, it seemed that Lana didn’t think highly of his son, so was it necessary for him to show her his strength and pressure her?

While Guye was still struggling with his decision, it was midnight in Beautiful Country.

Just like the previous attack, a large SUV drove near Sean Knight’s villa.

Five men got out of the car, leaving one inside to ensure the engine was running, ready to drive away at any time.

The five men, wearing battle gear and each carrying a backpack, quickly sneaked into the villa’s courtyard.

They moved quietly, not making much noise.

However, in the occupied rooms inside the villa, a rapid alarm sounded.

Everyone woke up and realized something was wrong. They locked the anti-theft doors that had already been opened and hid under their beds or inside wardrobes.

Kathy Lewis was the first to press the alarm to the Police Station. She hesitated for a moment, thought of Sean’s words, and eventually didn’t go out.

It took the five men no effort to open the small building’s door and enter the villa.

After searching around, they found the door to the basement.

Seeing the steel door and anti-theft lock of the basement, one of the five men took out professional tools from his backpack and began to study them.

The other four watched vigilantly, their guns at the ready.

A few minutes later, the door was opened. The lock-picker retreated two steps and began packing up his tools.

There were some shelves in the basement with some strange items on them.

However, these people were not interested in those items, but stared at a massive safe in the corner of the wall.

"How much does five tons of gold weigh?" asked the person in charge.

"Less than a quarter of a cubic meter," one of them answered, "This safe can totally fit that."

There was no mistake in the answer, considering one cubic meter of gold weighed over 19 tons.

"Danny, pick the lock!"

The leader shouted towards the entrance.

"Alright." The lock-picker from before walked in with his bag. He then reached for the handle of the safe...
