Chapter 510: Chapter 352: Dangerous Underground Water System

Standing at the entrance of what once belonged to Mr. Brown’s base, Bellamy Lang looked at the closed heavy door, and the bloodstains nearby on the ground. He began to speculate in his mind.

He knew that Brown often came here. However, after Brown was murdered, besides the current master of this forest, the only ones who could have entered were thieves.

Though Bellamy Lang had been organizing the salvage on the lakeside of Swan Lake, he was not oblivious to the outside world.

Whose blood could this be?

Bellamy Lang speculated, it could only be that of the thieves!

So, who injured these thieves?

The answer was almost obvious!

There was a possibility that the thieves harmed each other, but if they had locked the door after stealing, this was impossible!

So there was only one possibility: the new owner of the base arrived!

Bellamy Lang never believed in the so-called "divine punishment" of the Kickapoo Chief. He believed that the person who repeatedly sabotaged his salvage team and eventually drove away the Kickapoo Chief and others, could only be a human.

Now the answer was basically there - it was the new master of the forest who came with his people!

Although Bellamy Lang was not sure why those people didn’t directly drive him and his team away, he would absolutely not give up - seeing that he had already spent close to a million, but ended up losing all the things that were salvaged, the loss was too huge, how could he possibly accept that?

Just at that time, a police car arrived from a distance. Bellamy Lang didn’t have time to leave before the car stopped beside him.

"Who are you, and what are you doing?" The Sheriff sternly asked Bellamy Lang.

Bellamy Lang, seeing the sheriff who was prepared to draw his gun at any disagreement, immediately raised his hands and said:

"I am a friend of Mr. Brown. I came here for tourism and wanted to see if I could stay. I wasn’t expecting the front gate to be locked..."

Upon hearing that he was a friend of Brown, the Sheriff let his guard down. However, he still warned him:

"Mr. Brown has passed away. This place has a new owner, it’s a private area, so don’t mess around. You should leave."

Bellamy Lang obediently agreed and turned to leave.

The sheriff watched as Bellamy Lang walked off into the distance, then he took another look at the base and drove away.

Bellamy Lang got the answer he wanted and began considering his next move.

Retreat is out of the question - with so much investment, how could he just leave like that?

Reflecting on those people’s actions against him, Bellamy Lang had a sudden realization - he could do the same too!

He was not alone!

A day passed by, and Sean Knight still hadn’t thought of a way to get inside the ship.

He didn’t plan on telling Elijah Hastings and the others. It was best if he kept this to himself for now.

Even though he knew Elijah and his men were reliable, it was best not to test this with interests involved.

At night, by the bonfire in front of the tent, Douglas Cooper was playing with fire using a tree branch and said,:

"No idea if the helicopter will come tomorrow."

"I bet they won’t give up." Elijah looked around and said, "Even if the helicopter doesn’t come tomorrow, we need to keep an eye out for people diving over."

"Right." Sean Knight added, "Now we’re in the open, and they’re in the dark. We should be careful. Even though according to the law, this place is ours, we should watch out for their undercover tricks."

"With such a big forest, they may not be able to find this place right?" Douglas had a rather hopeful mindset.

"Let’s clear our traces." Lincoln Harrington suggested, "Go into the water as much as possible from within the forest. Try to put out the bonfire here immediately after using it. Oh, if only we had radar..."

Sean Knight’s eyes brightened up and he asked:

"I heard we can buy civilian radars in our country, can we get one?"

"Yes." Elijah was quite knowledgeable about this, "Some people in our place use it to drive away wild boars, it weighs fifteen kilograms, and can be operated by two persons...it’s the kind that can be used by a single soldier."

"Let’s get a few when we go back!" Sean Knight was a bit excited, after inquiring about the parameters of the radar, his decision to buy one was even more firm.

Finding the treasure wasn’t too difficult for him, but he was afraid of the mantis stalks the cicada, unaware of the oriole behind. Now that he was planning to get this gadget, at least it could help protect against people.

And so, the decision was made. As they discussed the issue with the bonfire, everyone understood and decided to put out the bonfire and rest.

Early the next day, Douglas stayed at the camp while Sean Knight and Elijah Hastings, along with Lincoln Harrington, went into the lake to search.

Sean Knight dived to the location of the water exit again. That golden ship was really tempting!

Before long, Elijah swam over, looking at the water gushing out of the water exit, he motioned to Sean Knight not to get too close as it was dangerous.

Sean Knight waved to show he understood, and Elijah went on his way.

After lingering around the water exit for a while, Sean Knight also left. He planned to search in other places for any good finds, while refreshing his mind.

Swan Lake was shaped like a funnel, with the center lower than the rest and gentle slopes around it. The real core area was somewhat deeper. The area by the lake that Sean Knight had once seen without water, was now only two to three meters deep at most.

So, the area he was searching in was mainly in the original core area of the lake.

After about an hour, Sean Knight dug up a golden sword. However, the hilt was somewhat broad. For some reason, the entire blade and the hilt were broken into two parts.

Bringing the sword onto the shore, Sean Knight came out of the water from within the forest, put away his diving gear and returned to the hollow place.

Douglas Cooper was changing the poles for the tent. Seeing Sean Knight return with something, he excitedly asked:
