Chapter 460: Chapter 327: Where is the Treasure

Looking at the boxes of rusty items placed inside the courtyard, Caprio’s face was gloomy.

Indeed, many things were buried in the courtyard, with thirteen boxes dug up and some still being excavated.

The courtyard was riddled with holes, but if there was enough harvest, such a situation would be normal and acceptable.

But what were these things...

Boxes of rusty Type 38 rifles, boxes of Type 97 grenades of unknown danger, and bullets...

Even if these things were in good condition, they would only be worth several tens of thousands of dollars, and now they were all rusty.

Got tricked...

That was Caprio’s first thought.

However, later, his subordinates found a fresh excavation pit at the back garden, no more than a day old, which made Caprio understand that he was not cheated, but just came too late!

He was originally relieved because Sean Knight and his crew couldn’t come to continue "shooting," or rather digging, since he bought the courtyard.

Now he understood, others just took advantage of the time difference, dug the stuff up while he was entangled, and then left directly.

Caprio thought of Sean and his face suddenly showed anger and hatred!

He was 90% sure that the guys who surrounded him and broke his leg were sent by Sean!

Thinking of this, the hatred in Caprio’s eyes deepened even more!

He couldn’t tolerate failing in the hands of Sean twice!

At this moment, Dubawnt Ramirez came over and whispered:

"Boss, the reporter outside wants to come in for an interview."

"Decline." Caprio shook his head. "We only have these things; how can we let people interview? Do we want to embarrass ourselves?"

Dubawnt hesitated for a moment, turned and left. Just as he was about to reach the entrance, Caprio left a sentence:

"Tell the reporter that Sean Knight from China found a part of Yamashita Fumio’s treasure!"

Dubawnt didn’t expect Caprio to say this, but he was the boss, so he just did as instructed.

Once the news came out, the reporters outside and the onlookers burst into a commotion, and they all asked who Sean was, completely ignoring the courtyard.

Caprio had some reluctance, but at the moment, to get rid of the dilemma, he could only say that.

With the reporters and onlookers gone, Caprio sat on the wheelchair and prepared to leave.

"Boss, what about this place..."

"Continue searching, continue digging." Caprio didn’t give up. "There must still be things in here; everything must be dug up for me!"

After saying this, Caprio hurriedly left, leaving the mess to Dubawnt.

Dubawnt sighed and continued working.

Early the next day, Sean received a phone call from Oliver Brooks:

"Brother, you’re famous. Now the whole world knows that you found Yamashita Fumio’s treasure... "

"What?" Sean was startled!

"Caprio told reporters that treasure hunter Sean from China found Yamashita Fumio’s treasure. The news has spread all over the world. Countless people, including the government, are waiting for you to speak up."

That Caprio!

Sean knew that the guy was making a fuss, trying to cause trouble for him.

But this trouble was quite a big one!

Sean hung up the phone, Joanna and Cheryl Suweton both called to ask about it. Sean simply told them that he was being framed. He needed to move now, or he might get stuck.

After a brief packing, Sean called Elijah Hastings and his crew and informed them of the situation.

"That bastard Caprio!" Douglas Cooper was furious. "We can’t let him off easily!"

"Let’s not talk about this for now. Let’s change places first. This place is too easy to be found."

The four of them changed their disguises slightly and immediately moved to the city suburb after checking out. They check into a small inn and carefully put on makeup.

"Luckily, the monitoring system here is not so advanced; otherwise, we couldn’t get away." Elijah sighed while putting on the makeup.

"Even this is very difficult." Sean shook his head while fiddling with his mobile phone.

Online circles were flooded with information about Yamashita Fumio’s treasure being discovered, mostly unfounded rumors.

Some people who knew Sean were frantically trying to get some insider information from him.

Sean simply left a sentence on his social media account:

"I didn’t find Yamashita Fumio’s treasure; I was framed."

Only that sentence, then he closed the comments and didn’t look at them anymore.

Sean knew that there was no good way to solve this issue, and could only let time slowly erase it.

After reporting safety to his family, he simply turned off his mobile phone, so that at least strangers could not call him anymore.

Two days later, the four of them went to Indonesia, stayed at Oliver’s house for half a day, and then boarded Sean’s boat to Big Island.

Big Island changed every day; the sandy beach had been leveled, but the environmental changes caused by island modification had not allowed marine life to fully adapt. So, Sean tried to catch seafood twice in the sea but didn’t succeed.

However, the seawater, sandy beach, and sunshine felt like paradise. The four of them were very comfortable.

Occasionally, they dived to catch some red coral or seafood, which became one of the pleasures of life.

It took Caprio’s crew a week to dig out everything in the courtyard, including more than a thousand bullet casings.
