Sean Knight carefully scraped away some rocks and ducked inside.

The stone wall and the iron gate were originally close, but with the explosion, a new space was created.

Sean pushed it hard and the door moved with a creak, leaving a small crack.

With his Sky Eye, he saw that the door was originally locked, but the lock had been blown apart by the blast.

With a considerable effort to push the door until the gap was big enough for a person to pass through, he then stopped and crawled in.

Sean didn’t really examine the weapons and oil paintings at the entrance, but he recognized some of the paintings as by artists such as Monet Anderson from their signatures.

Sean was not familiar with the painters of that era, he only knew that Picasso’s were more expensive.

As for whether they had any, he didn’t look through them in detail, intending to check the inner part first.

The mine cave wasn’t very large, only about two meters wider than the outer corridor, with goods placed on both sides of the main path.

There were about a hundred oil paintings, occupying a long space.

There were dozens of boxes of gold, weighing at least several tons!

Then it reached the end of the mine cave.

The boxes here contained various pieces of jewelry. Some were placed in jewelry boxes, while others were randomly put in big boxes.

However, what most caught Sean’s attention was a black cross as tall as a man!

On the cross was an image of the crucified Jesus.

In the spectrum invisible to ordinary people, Sean saw with his Sky Eye, the cross was radiating a powerful, pure white energy!

The energy contained within was much greater than that of the Crystal Skull or the Energy Water from the Hetian jade that he’d encountered previously!

Sean subconsciously reached out to touch it.

However, Sean did not feel disappointed. For an ownerless cross, he could take it back and slowly figure it out!

He kept the cross directly, then noticed that objects such as the Madonna Statue, the Bible, and other items were beside the cross. His Sky Eye swept over them, all were items with hundreds of years of history.

No idea from which Grand Cathedral these items were stolen back then.

Sean simply took all of them, including the jewelry.

He also took the gold, took some silver ingots, chose a few dozen undamaged oil paintings, and kept them.

Now that there wasn’t much vacant land left in the space, he returned to the entrance, where he saw the weapons.

As the guns were all new, Sean simply took a box of submachine guns and a box of machine guns, some bullets and some hand grenades, and then left.

Now that he was powerful enough, after securing the door, he blocked the entrance with rocks until no trace of entrance was visible. He then threw two hand grenades back into the mine and left.

Upon reaching the surface, Sean let out a sigh of relief. After thinking for a moment, he cleaned up the ash from his body. He changed his clothes, packed the old clothes into his backpack, and put two bundles of US dollars into the backpack.

When he reached the fork in the road, he saw Elijah Hastings wandering around anxiously.

"Boss, are you okay? There seemed to be an explosion earlier!"

"I’m fine." Sean smiled, "Alright, let’s go."

Elijah didn’t ask further, and they returned to the hotel by car.

On arriving at the hotel, Sean saw a man in the lobby, which startled him.

Elijah remained calm but gave Sean a meaningful glance. Sean understood that the man sitting there was likely the one watching them.

But since they were discovered, there was nothing to say.

Elijah and the others exchanged looks. They all knew what to do.

When trouble arises, it is their job to handle it.

Sean does not plan to go to find the other treasure burial point for now. He intended to first digest all of these things in front of him.
