Chapter 1513: Chapter 721: I Really Didn’t Know that Lord Horse had 3 Eyes!_2
"Regardless," Sean Knight didn’t want Elijah Hastings and the others to work for nothing. The four of them were close, so a little more or a little less didn’t matter.
"Alright, boss," Elijah Hastings thought for a moment and said, "the three of us will take one share each. The rest, the seventy percent, is yours."
"Boss, let’s do that," Lincoln Harrington agreed after thinking it over.
"Okay," Sean Knight nodded, "then I’ll collect the items first, and after they’re sold, I’ll transfer the money to you."
Selling all of these items would net around three to four million US dollars, not a lot, so there was no need to squabble about it here.
"I’ll switch with Douglas in the driver’s cockpit," announced Elijah Hastings as he stood up. "Lincoln, you and Douglas absorb the energy first. I feel the energy in these two statues is very abundant, enough for us to absorb for a long time."
Elijah went to the cockpit. He and Douglas Cooper argued for a while before Douglas returned. By this time, Sean Knight had already gone back to the bedroom. Lincoln stood on the deck, and when Douglas approached, he pointed to the box and said:
"I’ll deliver this box to the boss’s room first, and then we each take one of the statues. You choose first."
Saying this, he carried the box to Sean Knight’s bedroom.
When they arrived at the port, it was already the wee hours. Sean Knight and his crew didn’t disembark, but instead rested directly on the yacht.
The three men, Elijah Hastings, took turns on night watch duty. After all, with the freshly found treasure onboard, it wasn’t wise to transfer it to a hotel, too conspicuous. Besides, the accommodation on the yacht was decent, so they decided to stay put.
The night passed without incident. Early the next day, Sean Knight and his crew had breakfast on the yacht, resupplied, and then set sail out of the port, circling around the southern tip of the Scandinavia Peninsula, heading towards a port in Sweden.
So far, the journey was a success. Although Sean Knight was injured along the way, he felt it was worth it.
The submarine was still in the spatial realm. Sean Knight planned to wait until they returned to Big Island to find an opportunity to release the submarine and then extract the Bronze Dragon to study it carefully.
The energy contained within the Bronze Dragon was much more massive and powerful than the energy in the two statues acquired from the pirates, which is why Sean Knight was very much looking forward to it.
At this moment, the yacht on the sea truly seemed like they were just on a tourist voyage. Moving at a leisurely pace, with the breeze and the sunshine, Sean Knight felt utterly lazy as he lounged in his deck chair with his eyes closed, not wanting to move at all.
"Boss, there’s a situation!" Suddenly, Lincoln Harrington called out from the driver’s cockpit.
"What’s going on?" Sean Knight opened his eyes and stood up, heading towards the cockpit.
Elijah Hastings and Douglas Cooper were absorbing energy in the bedroom at that moment.
"There’s a boat rapidly approaching us from behind. This isn’t a traditional route, and I’ve checked; it’s not a location where a fisherman would be fishing, so..."
"You mean they’re coming for us?"
"It’s very likely," assessed Lincoln Harrington, "especially since you’ve been seen at the port several times, boss. Those on the work boat know you too. Those we rescued might not harbor ill intentions, but it’s hard to say for those who know about it..."
Sean Knight nodded in agreement.
The yacht’s radar was quite powerful, giving them some time to prepare.
"Then, I’ll go find some things," said Sean Knight.
Sean Knight went into the bedroom and took out four SIG 552 compact assault rifles from the spatial realm, along with over a dozen magazines, a grenade launcher, and several hand grenades. Finally, he packed these items into a big bag and carried them toward the cockpit.
Lincoln Harrington had already called Elijah Hastings and Douglas Cooper over. The three men laughed when they saw the big bag Sean Knight was carrying.
The boss had never let them down when it came to arming them with weapons.
"Come on, there’s not a lot this time, but it should be enough."
Opening the big bag, each of the men took an assault rifle. However, upon seeing the grenade launcher, Douglas Cooper slung the rifle over his shoulder and then picked up the launcher, beginning to load it with grenades.
"With this thing, they won’t be able to do anything."
"Do you think they could have a rocket launcher?" Lincoln suddenly asked.
Sean Knight’s mind raced as he smiled and said,
"Wait, we still have ours."
After speaking, he returned to the bedroom and when he came out, he was holding a backpack.
"Boss, this... it’s really thorough!" Douglas Cooper exclaimed, looking at what Sean Knight was carrying, "With this thing, whatever they bring won’t be enough!"
In Sean Knight’s hand was the same backpack they had brought on their yacht when they were in The Philippines Sea Area, which could hold eight miniature missiles.
Sean Knight smiled and said,
"After all, we’re people with identities now. If we don’t want to bring a lot of people, we should bring more stuff. Otherwise, wouldn’t it be troublesome if we encounter this kind of situation?"
This also served as a reminder to Sean Knight that he really shouldn’t be reckless when he was outside. Even if he wanted to take risks, he should have the strength to do so—only those who can fight and retreat have real ability.
The group got ready, loaded their bullets, and the yacht continued to maintain a steady speed. Half an hour later, the following cargo ship caught up.
The cargo ship slowed its speed once it was 500 meters away from the yacht, and then two speedboats were launched, encircling the yacht from the left and the right.
There were three or four people on each speedboat, and Sean Knight could see they were armed, clearly not intending to extend a friendly greeting.
There were no other boats nearby in the sea area, and Sean Knight was certain that he was their target.
No need for politeness then!
"Let’s shoot." Sean Knight took out the backpack and asked, "Who’s more familiar with operating this?"
"I will!"
Lincoln Harrington volunteered immediately.
"First, knock out the cargo ship—never mind, take them all out. We don’t want to risk complications!" Sean Knight said, "The speedboats are coming fast, let’s get ready!"
Lincoln Harrington moved swiftly, and within half a minute, when the speedboats were only fifty meters away from the yacht, six missiles soared into the air, four toward the cargo ship, and one each at the speedboats!
The sight of the missiles caused panic both on the speedboats and the cargo ship!
They had never imagined that such powerful weapons would be aboard the yacht!
The people on the speedboats had no chance to continue toward the yacht; they started making swift turns in an attempt to avoid the missiles, but these miniature missiles were infrared homing, and with their intense infrared signals being the only ones nearby, no amount of turning could help them escape.
Those on the cargo ship reacted slower, some madly shooting at the incoming missiles, those in the cockpit trying to turn the ship, and others simply jumping into the sea!
Four missiles against the large cargo ship; it wouldn’t last after four hits.
"Boom! Boom!" Two explosions rang out, and the two speedboats turned into fireballs in the air, the people inside blasted out and plummeting heavily into the sea.
Then, just a few seconds later, successive explosions rang out on the cargo ship!
Before they could even approach, they were blown to pieces!
Looking at the cargo ship with its bow and stern raised and the dismantled speedboats sinking, Sean Knight breathed a sigh of relief and said,
"Alright. Let’s leave this troublesome place quickly."
"These guys...Viking descendants, really can’t shake off their ancestor’s trade!"
"Full speed ahead," Lincoln Harrington said cautiously, "I think these people probably have accomplices. Boss, we should head back to Sweden’s port and then return to our country."
"I’ll make a phone call to Mr. Young now," Elijah Hastings said, "Let him send a private jet. We’ll go back by private jet."
Sean Knight nodded in agreement with these suggestions.
He was no longer just an ordinary person unknown to the world; it was very normal for such people, who saw someone like him without much protection, to harbor ill intentions while moving so freely in this sea territory.
The yacht swiftly left the area leaving behind some floating garbage. Two crew members clung to lifebuoys helplessly drifting on the sea surface, eventually disappearing into the waves as time passed.
On the third day, the yacht returned to Sweden’s port.
Sean Knight knew that they were not yet completely safe.
