Chapter 1479: Chapter 707: This is another major income!

Big Head struggled to get up, his upper body had just straightened when he was stomped back down by an approaching team member!

The boss was nearly hit in front of everyone, which turned Douglas Cooper’s and several team members’ faces beet red with fury!

Two team members held Big Head down and began a flurry of punches and kicks. Other crew members came over to help, but were knocked down by Douglas Cooper and his team with a few swift punches and kicks.

The chaos on deck tossed the items around in a complete mess; "golden coins" and "Buddha statues" clattering against each other. Some fell into the sea, some broke into pieces— it was a scene of utter destruction.

Blind Guess was initially shocked by all this, then immediately felt a sense of schadenfreude.

It wasn’t that he lacked connections in this area, and it wasn’t that nobody had contacted him about smuggling some counterfeit goods to fool Sean Knight.

In the eyes of those people, Sean Knight was an outsider. To deceive him just once was one opportunity. Even if he discovered it later, what could he do? As if anyone could really find them!

However, after considering it, Blind Guess didn’t dare to do it. He quite admired Sean Knight. Even though he knew that Sean Knight would ultimately make far more money than him from the goods he sold to him.

But Blind Guess also understood that if he held onto the items himself, some things, like golden coins, might fetch a high price, but it wasn’t certain that he could sell other items.

Moreover, Blind Guess could learn a lot from Sean Knight, and he felt that even if Sean Knight and his people were no longer here, he could still make a fortune from these city ruins—or rather, he had already made a fortune.

The ruin site was so extensive that even if the Philippine government managed to secure it, there would always be loopholes. Blind Guess planned to stop being a fisherman and take up this line of work instead.

"Blind Guess, go tell those fishermen that Big Head sold me counterfeit goods, and not just a few items but a boatload! Yesterday he sold me some and I let it slide, but coming back today, he’s clearly trying to cheat me!"

At this point, Sean Knight viciously kicked Big Head, who let out a cry of pain but couldn’t move an inch as the team members had restrained him.

"Tell those people, there’s no good end for those who try to deceive me!" Having said that, Sean Knight waved his hand. "I won’t hold others accountable, you all can get lost!"

The crew members on deck looked at each other. Some hesitated, while others had already grabbed life jackets and jumped into the sea!

With so many fishing boats nearby, it was obviously better to find any boat to escape to than to stay here!

Once one person led, others followed suit—clearly, Big Head’s crew had no loyalty and scattered when disaster struck.

Blind Guess quickly addressed Sean Knight:

"Rest assured, Mr. Knight! Everything I bring is genuine—I’ll go tell those people right now!"

"Good. I trust you, and I hope you don’t betray my trust!"

Sean Knight gestured dismissively, and Blind Guess hurriedly left.

Only after moving nearly a hundred meters away from the yacht did Blind Guess breathe a sigh of relief.

Indeed, to become a rich man cruising in a super yacht, none of them were easy to fool!

What a close call that he hadn’t listened to those guys!

Blind Guess turned around and saw that Sean Knight and his team had already boarded the yacht, while Big Head’s fishing boat seemed to be empty.

Perhaps Big Head had been taken aboard the yacht as well?

Turning back and continuing towards the nearest fishing boat, that was when a thunderous explosion sounded from behind. Blind Guess turned and saw that Big Head’s fishing boat had been blown in two, a huge flame soaring into the sky, followed by thick black smoke that quickly spread.

Was Big Head still on the boat?

Blind Guess dared not think about it, he even refrained from looking back and immediately went about his business.

By midday, every fishing boat in the vicinity knew the reason behind Big Head’s mishap.

When Blind Guess approached the fishing boat again, the amount of goods was significantly more than usual.

"Everyone seems to think it’s pretty worthwhile to sell to Mr. Knight," Blind Guess said cautiously with a smile, "and Mr. Knight’s prices are quite fair."

Sean Knight looked at the deck crowded with stacks of golden coins, silver ingots, bronze ware, and porcelain and thought to himself, isn’t this a bit exaggerated?

Wasn’t it just about dealing with Big Head who tried to cheat him?

Could it have also served as a warning to others?

However, not a single item among these goods was counterfeit, which pleased Sean Knight, and he nodded in satisfaction.

Little did he know that these items were actually what Blind Guess had previously received and kept hidden. These were the easiest items to cash in, and Blind Guess had intended to slowly sell them off covertly back at the port.

He just hadn’t expected Sean Knight to so decisively deal with Big Head, and Blind Guess was truly scared.

Out here on the sea, Sean Knight dared to outright destroy Big Head’s livelihood. Now, Blind Guess didn’t know whether he was feeding the fish or suffering torment, and Blind Guess wasn’t willing to gamble on his fate!

So, he simply brought out everything he had hidden—what if he didn’t, and Sean Knight already knew he had kept only ordinary items to fool him, might he end up disposed of along with Big Head?

That’s why there was such a bounty on the deck.

But of course, Blind Guess didn’t dare tell the truth. With a forced smile, he said:

"Since Big Head didn’t collect goods today, and a few fishing boats found some nice stuff, that’s why we have such a haul now."

Sean Knight nodded, then began to give out his offer for each item.

"Mmm... that’s it, adding it all up... it should be $15,500," Sean Knight said with a smile, "not bad at all!"

Sean Knight gave Blind Guess the total, which was significantly higher than Blind Guess had estimated.

Any resentment Blind Guess might have harbored in his heart vanished.
