Chapter 113: Shelf Testimonial

Yesterday afternoon, I suddenly received a notice from the editor that the book could be put on the shelves. It was quite unexpected.

I have no manuscript saved, as I used everything for the updates during this period.

It went through four rounds of recommendations, which exceeded my expectations. I originally thought that it might be eliminated after three rounds of recommendations— the books during the same period were too strong, and my own writing skills hadn’t improved much over these years. It was still the same old me, not very likable to many people.

Now there are ten thousand collections and one thousand two hundred readers, which is beyond my expectations. With 230,000 words, it’s time to put it on the shelves.

This is the first book I wrote on Starting Point, which has not been successful. It took several books to get a contract, and the results were not good. Even at its best, it didn’t make it into the boutique category with the editor’s push.

Later, I tried other websites. In the end, after going in circles, I felt that Starting Point was more suitable for me.

Writing a book is not for love; if it doesn’t achieve success, it may end hastily. After all, writing has a lot to do with one’s mood. For this book, I hope the first order will be higher.

Of course, I’m not relying on this for a living. Writing is a hobby, like a part-time job, making some pocket money while sharing the stories I think of with everyone.

If someone is willing to read, I’ll be very happy.

The book will be on the shelves at 12 o’clock. Because there’s no manuscript saved, the temporary update is six Chapters with twelve thousand words. If the first order exceeds expectations, I’ll update accordingly.

And then, I’m asking for genuine subscriptions. After all, the first order is really crucial for evaluating a book. If possible, a full subscription would be the best, of course, only if you think the book is good. To be honest, you can get coins by completing some tasks on Starting Point, like signing in and watching ads. If it’s challenging to order, please help subscribe on Starting Point for the first VIP Chapter. Thank you.

Finally, I want to thank many book friends for their support all along, whether it’s rewards, votes, comments, or bug-catching. I genuinely appreciate it.

I’ve written books for a long time and understand the frustration of being solo. With you by my side, writing becomes much happier.

Alright, 12 o’clock, waiting for you!
