Read through CH 40 before ultimately deciding to drop it. Starts fairly promising, but both the characters and the plot itself quickly show cracks and begins to fall.
It reads very much like the author had a fun story idea that they were passionate about, but they lacked the capability to expand on the idea into a cohesive, well thought-out story.
