My name is Blair Vance and now I...

"So, according to my hypothesis, it's possible...."

I found myself listening to the "professor", unable to miss a single word he uttered as I sat here in the clubroom.

The reality is that in this place there are people like me, who have seen strange things. After all, this is the Paranormal Investigation Club and I'm here to find answers, to understand what happened to me and, above all, how I can get my family out of this.

Now, the "Professor," the leader, is explaining another of his complicated theories on how to break a possession. I try to understand him, every word, because everything depends on this. He talks about energies, rituals, other worlds... It's a lot, but I have to understand it.

After all, everyone here is for the same reason. Each one has had their encounter with something abnormal. We joined this club to support each other, to try to confront what we don't understand or, at least, to find out how to do it. And sometimes, when everything is calm, my mind drifts to that day. The day my whole world fell apart.

That day I woke up and my body felt like I'd been hit by a truck. I was exhausted, but in a very strange way, not like after training in the pool. It was a weariness that reached my bones. I opened my eyes and the morning light looked odd. The first thing I saw was the date on my room's calendar. It was wrong. Very wrong. It wasn't just days that were missing; it was months, or even years that had been erased. I panicked. What had happened? I remembered absolutely nothing from that time. It was as if that part of my life simply didn't exist.

At that moment, I got up trembling, feeling the floor strange beneath my feet, and went downstairs. Every step made me more nervous. I was looking for my family, answers, something familiar to calm me down. But what I found in the living room... It was nothing but a nightmare that, no matter how much I wished it wasn't real, I knew I would only be deceiving myself in the end.

The scene I saw downstairs was my mom, Delilah Vance, acting like a prostitute and dressed in a way that disgusted me.

Unlike the calm, decent, and faithful mother or wife I remembered, she now behaved like a prostitute, acting in a very vulgar way with a much younger boy who identified himself as "Dick Shoot," which was a ridiculous name. Meanwhile, they were having sex in the living room in a bestial manner, without any shame, as if it were the most normal thing.

To make matters worse, there was another woman who I later learned was "Dick Shoot's" biological mother. And, as if that weren't enough, she was also that boy's wife, despite being her mother! The scene was so disgusting and strange that my brain couldn't process it. My eyes couldn't look away, even though I wished I didn't see it.

But sadly, the blow didn't end there. I was even more shocked to discover that my own mother, Delilah, had also married that boy, after divorcing my father, Owen Vance. And the worst part, she herself, with a completely cold voice, told me that my father had committed suicide. There was no pain in her voice, no tears. She just said it and continued with her business, as if I wasn't there, as if I were invisible.

After seeing all that, with my stomach churning and my head spinning, I finally found my younger sister, Willow.

The Willow I remembered was serious, dedicated to self-improvement, with great potential that everyone recognized. But the one I saw that day... she behaved in a tender and flattering way, like an idol who tempts people. Her gaze, once so clear, now had a strange gleam. And what hurt me most: now she quit her studies to lock herself in her room with the computer, and moans could be heard through the door. It was as if my sister had been replaced by someone else.

At that moment, I understood nothing. I just knew my body was shattered, that I remembered nothing, and that my family had become a circus of horrors. It was simply... horrible. A nightmare in which I was the only one who woke up and saw the truth, the only one left trapped in reality while my world fell apart.

And it wasn't just my family. I discovered that my own reputation was in tatters. My behavior, before all this, had been arrogant and overbearing with others, and now there were rumors that I slept with school teachers to win effortlessly or to intimidate. People avoided me, isolated me, and I didn't know why. I had no idea what I had done.

It was then that a boy named Fionn appeared. He told me he knew the cause of all my suffering, that he could help me. He invited me to the Paranormal Investigation Club. Here, little by little, I began to discover the truth: my world was much more anomalous than it seemed. I learned about the "possession drug," responsible for my family and myself having been possessed by other people. I understood that the man who possessed me had abandoned me for a better body, and that's why he had returned my consciousness to me. But my mother and sister are still possessed by others.

Now, my only goal is to find a way to free them. And I think we're close. Recently, we found the first clue to create an antidote. To get it, we had to participate in a dangerous underground clandestine tournament, known as the "Possession Arena". The prize is what we need for the possible cure.

I look outside, at the cloudy sky through the window, and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to win this... Because there's no turning back. I can't let them continue like this. My family, the life I knew, everything depends on this. I don't care about the risk, I don't care what I have to do. I will not fail.

(FLASH!!)

Just then, it began to rain, with the first thick drops hitting the windowpane as a flash of lightning briefly illuminated the room with a cold, white light, followed by the dull rumble of nearby thunder.

To which, unable to look away, I watched as the dark clouds covered everything....
