The story initially seems generic and cliché, but that slowly changes. You'll find interesting points in this story. There are indeed some things to criticize, such as the dialogue being unnatural or the system having a bad personality. But I have to appreciate this story. Reading it made me relate to some of the author's views.

Envi's character was very annoying in the early chapters; I really hated him/her. But as I read deeper, I began to understand why he/she was created that way. Perhaps he/she's one of those with good character development.

I'm not a harem fan, but this is still worth reading and has potential. I'll wait for this novel to finish and will marathon read it.

Don't look at the 1 star review, that person is sick.

Personally, I like this story which at first I thought was anti-mainstream and generic, but I was wrong. The author is really humble at the beginning of this story.

I like the comedy of this story, where Envi (the system) has a personality like a human, so we will see a duo in this story. I also like the nature of the MC who really cares about his family and will protect them no matter what.

This story is full of touching drama especially if you like a heartwarming stories. Character development is well built, the MC who was initially weak slowly becomes badass and OP, you just need to keep reading and you will find out.

The romance story in this novel is also very interesting. The MC wants to stick to the principle of liking only one woman, but Envi (the system) wants the MC to create a harem. The contrast is a fresh comedy. If someone doesn't like it, then maybe their taste in comedy is mainstream.

One thing I can say about this novel. Peak.

I'm sure many people don't read until the story gets really exciting. I suggest you keep reading until chapter 30, and then give your assessment. I know it's not comparable to LOTM, RI, etc, but this one is also good and worth reading. I saw on the author's tiktok account, he wrote this novel not just for fun, but to give his mother a birthday present. It's really touching, so stop insulting his hard work, you don't deserve to throw such cruel words especially if you are an illegal reader.

This is has a bland plot and it doesn't make sense. At first the author emphasize that family is what keeps the MC motivated to keep going through his transmigration but Im not even far from the novel shows the mc flirting with the 2 girl knights he met after saving them ( such a classic trope right it's super repetitive like is there not a single unique novels to be published anymore) and second this all happened while the system gave him a quest that if he doesn't beat his step brother his mom will die.. like aren't you supposed to focused in strengthening yourself and get ready for the duel ?? It just doesn't make sense to me so I'm dropping this.

P.s also the 3 other comments below are just trying too hard on defending this novel like it's not even that good Broo and I guess it became rank 300+ because of these 3 reviews will now it'll not be the same.. you three should learn a lesson. Not everything is always in your favor.

I wasn’t going to write a review, but a particular reader kept glazing over and refusing to acknowledge other people’s opinions so much that it pushed me to do it. I forced myself to finish Volume 1 (which was supposed to be a “good” part), and all I saw was the usual: “I reincarnated into a useless dude, and now I’m going to become stronger.”

The only difference—and the one interesting part—was the MC’s motivation: his family. I thought that was unique and refreshing, since most isekai protagonists completely forget about their families back on Earth. But he didn’t, which was unique at the start

That was the case until I saw the system and the two girls the MC saves.

First of all, I’m not against the cliché of “save girl, she falls for you.” That trope can work. But this novel made it so cringe. The system has a perverted and annoying personality, and worse, it can take over the MC without any punishment—which is just stupid. And when it does take over, it uses that ability for dumb reasons, like flirting with girls.

The quests are just as bad: “Hold hands,” “Kiss her,” “Hug that one.” Like are we serious? That ruined it for me. Harem is fine when it’s natural and not the main focus, but here it feels forced and central.

The original plot was interesting, but the system and quests ruined it. I didn’t want to write this, but that reader’s denial of flaws made me do it
