Considering he wanted to keep his trace concealed, he thoroughly implemented this strategy. Therefore, he strictly prohibited the Earth Team and the captive Sorin Team creatures from transmitting any information about him to the outside world. Hence, the outside world only had a vague impression of the Big Mosquito’s emergence. They could never imagine that this monster was even stronger than Long Wu, a powerful being!
Through such tactics, Jia Yan had limited his notorious reputation to a smaller scope. Aside from him being a flying creature that somewhat attracted attention, hearing about him was quickly forgotten by most living beings because of his strength deemed as average.
As for the Fifth Strongest who was defeated, the giant Long Wu, after escaping with his life, it was unlikely that he would go around declaring his own failure. After all, it was not a glorifying matter.
All in all, within this area, the Big Mosquito indeed had a period of successful concealment. Jia Yan, through progressively understanding this desert and planet, seemed to blend increasingly into this world.
Time quickly passed, and he remained soaked in the green liquid.
Perhaps a day had passed, maybe two. On a specific day, a colossal being soared above the area where the Sorin Team was located.
This flying monster literally eclipsed the sun!
Its tens-of-meters-long body, like a flying mountain, compelled one to show respect!
Several creatures of similar size were riding on this monster.
The White Monster, quite familiar to Jia Yan, was among them!
"Lord, should we not descend and question the forces in the Yellow Continent? Perhaps they may know something about that flying monster!"
A Rat-like creature then posed a question.
Surrounded by several enormous creatures who stood ten to twenty meters tall, this Rat-like creature, the size of a regular human, seemed as small as a rat standing next to humans. Well, he was a Rat Monster in the first place.
The white creature takes a disdainful glance at the Rat Monster. The Rat Monster then feels a tremendous Brainwave Power striking him in the chest and abdomen!
Splat!
The rat-like creature spat out a mouthful of purple blood, involuntarily stepping back several steps, his expression wilted.
"I’ve told you to address him as ’Lord’, do you understand?!" The white monster, with three flashing unicorn-like horns, emits a lightning radiance.
"I...I understand!"
The rat-like creature, watching the white monster’s severe gaze, promptly lowered his head.
Apparently, the white creature did not think highly of this rat-like creature. After issuing a stern warning, he snorted coldly and no longer paid attention to his words.
"What on earth is my father thinking? Why is he so certain that creature is such an existence? Moreover, why did he do what he did... If we don’t find him, what will happen?"
When she thought of her father, the Bullhorn Monster, and the words he said and actions he took, the white creature felt very frustrated.
If that creature really was destined to be a Great Being, her father’s decision would make sense. But what if he were not?
The more irked the white monster got, the more intensely the white light radiated from her three horns. The crackling lightning caused the other creatures around her to keep a safe distance, so they wouldn’t get accidentally injured.
"Is it me, or has Miss been rather cranky these days?" The rat essence sent out a brainwave message, which was only audible to the target individual.
A giant creature standing next to him, with seven legs, shook his head indicating his ignorance, "Perhaps she’s read too many Auster female books and watched too many movies. You know, Auster women have a few special days every month when their temper can become unstable."
The rat creature had not had the chance to respond when the white light started sparking violently!
"What are you two saying!"
White light struck, without exception, all the creatures.
Even the creature they were riding — an enormous flying monster that didn’t seem particularly intelligent — let out a soft moaning sound of pain!
Though this lightning attack did not cause any real harm, their journey and plans to land and ask questions were abruptly interrupted!
These creatures didn’t know that their target was right beneath them!
Meanwhile, in the Yellow Continent, where the Sorin Team resided, Jia Yan patiently waited to recover energy, oblivious to the crisis overhead that had unknowingly passed!
Slowly, he absorbed the green fluid inside his body organs, and the exoskeleton on his body surface filtered out and discharged the unused portion.
Due to this process, the green color in the pool gradually faded.
If this process continued, it was foreseeable that the green fluid, which was worth who knows how much, might completely be absorbed by him and the leftovers converted into a pool of useless waste fluid!
Of course, this process still required some time.
If the Sorin Team and other captured individuals from the Original Sorin Fleet knew that the precious green liquid they had gathered with much exertion was consumed so effortlessly by the Big Mosquito, they might really feel great heartache.
