Chapter 454: Chapter 11: Bow and Submit! [Subscription Requested] _3
With these thoughts in mind, Big Mosquito’s ideas became clearer and clearer. He now had a plan for the road ahead.
"If I can garner the support of these factions, at the very least I would initially rely on them to obtain the intermediate and even advanced nutrient solutions. After all, on this Grey-Yellow Star, it has already been proven that these are effective for me."
"If I can get some of the nutrient solution, my energy could recover as quickly as possible."
"After restoring my energy, I’ll seek out other useful things, like the fuel of those aircraft and other powerful energy materials. If I can find and stockpile some of these things, it’s possible that I could undergo another mutation on this planet."
Having thought this through, Big Mosquito’s compound eyes, already filled with a brilliant glow, shone with even greater radiance.
He knew that his combat power might not even match his own when he was on Earth, but his Brainwave Power had undoubtedly increased much. If only given a large enough amount of the nutrient solution, restoring energy would just be a matter of minutes!
Losing most of his energy this time may not have been entirely detrimental. The first advantage was that Jia Yan’s previous mutations had in fact been a bit too rapid. The continuous mutations of his body resembled promoting growth by pulling up the seedlings, something unsustainable. The aftereffects left behind by the numerous mutations were not something that could recover quickly. This required a much longer period of self-repair for his body.
However, the previous mutations happened in such quick succession that Jia Yan’s body was filled with various deformed organs. Some of them even caused damage to his brain region, leading to headaches whenever he released his Brainwave Power.
But now, with his energy lacking over time, Jia Yan’s pace of mutation had slowed down. This gave his body a chance to rest and readjust itself. After all, as an Evolutionary Creature, his ability to self-adjust was truly unparalleled among all life forms.
After revamping his body for a period and resolving this issue, the path to further mutation and evolution could then be broader, perhaps even leading to the real Path of the Star Sky Beast!
The second advantage of this pause in mutation was that Jia Yan could better acquaint himself with the prolonged mutation times in the future.
After all, as he grew stronger, the time his body needed for adjustments after each mutation would gradually increase. Also, the items required for future mutations would become increasingly difficult to find. If he wants to evolve into a Star Sky Beast, even Jia Yan did not know what immensely powerful items he would eventually need to reach that level of terrifying strength.
Therefore, he shouldn’t be impatient. This delay is an opportunity to temper his state of mind.
"Alright, I’ve thought it through. It seems like I still crave the next mutation deep inside. This anxious state of mind... It’s not a good thing!"
Jia Yan was lying on top of the vehicle where he had been crawling around for several days.
He stared at the approaching teams in the distance, as if he could already foresee these teams rapidly supplying him with nutrients for mutation...
If he could mutate again...
The thought suddenly came to Jia Yan.
It was not that he was overconfident. If he could fully recover his energy, then unleash his Brainwave Power and physical defensive power, he was confident that he could beat that white life form he encountered earlier!
Jia Yan didn’t know what kind of being that white life form was, but it was definitely not a minor figure!
Since he could beat her just by recovering his energy, what would happen after the next mutation?
Jia Yan didn’t know what level he would reach after the next mutation, he just knew, he would completely overwhelm that white life form, even making it appear as insignificant as an ant in front of him. After all, this has always been how he made the ’Great leap’ during his past mutations.
As Jia Yan was lost in thought, the two distant teams had slowly approached the Oluk’s camp.
"So this is Oluk’s home base... truly several times larger than our own Rakaf Team, and this team has already been crushed by the Sheriff. I can’t even imagine how powerful they originally were!"
"Their equipment is not bad, joining such a team might not be a bad thing for us."
The powerful members of the Rakaf Team had surrendered one by one. Those allowed drove small war vehicles, while stronger individuals were tied up and walked into Oluk’s headquarters in groups.
The members of the Rakaf Team looked at the life forms on the other side. Conversely, the members of Oluk’s team curiously examined the members of Rakaf Team.
They had all heard from their own vehicles’ broadcasts that the Rakaf Team had been subdued by the powerful ’Mr. Monster’.
The members here all poked their heads out, looking at the disarmed Rakaf Team members, filled with curiosity.
"Are these the warriors of Rakaf Team? They’re so powerful! They’re less than 5,000 in number, but they’ve still managed to defeat us so many times."
"What can their strength do? To the mighty Mr. Monster, they are still just children, destined to be subdued!"
A present Oluk Team that still had over 20,000 life forms, together with the approximately 5,000 members from the Rakaf Team, made the entire massive team nearly 30,000 strong.
However, the task of subduing them was not that simple. Compared to the simplicity of Oluk’s team, the Rakaf Team had only surrendered reluctantly after a direct confrontation. It would not be an easy task to get them to risk their lives for Jia Yan.
Even the Oluk team, though nominally cooperated initially, now found themselves gradually becoming a follower of Big Mosquito, just like a frog in slowly heated water.
