"Hurry up! A spy reports that the government military will soon conduct a major sweep in our area. We need to harvest all mature Toni roots before they arrive. Faster!"

Heading the twelve-member team was a male Auster, his gaunt cheeks brooding as he ordered the other lifeforms to jog forward swiftly.

Jia Yan watched them from behind, noting their battle pet, a creature about ten meters in size and similar to himself.

They jogged to one side of the jungle where Jia Yan saw a stretch of peculiar plants. At first glance, they seemed to be commonplace grey-yellow vegetation. But their urgency made Jia Yan study them more closely, and he was astonished to discover that they were green-tinted plants.

This was the first time he’d seen green plants on this planet, arousing a familiar sense of camaraderie.

However, the alien lifeforms on the other side didn’t share his feelings. To them, the greenish vegetation might be the universe’s greatest treasures. Each plant was over a meter tall, and once they settled in that area, they brandished sickle-like tools and started to harvest swiftly.

"What kind of plant is this?" Jia Yan watched the harvesting process and naturally realized that this plant was not ordinary. A trace of curiosity appeared on his face.

This curiosity didn’t last long. As another group hurried over, Jia Yan used his brainwave power to further conceal himself. Then he overheard the whispers among the group members and roughly figured out what this thing was.

"Who would’ve thought this vegetation is a forbidden drug for alien life forms! Moreover, it’s a combination of both mental and energy stimulants!"

Hearing that, light sparked within Jia Yan’s compound eyes.

He even heard that this forbidden drug was part of a standard recipe for creating nutrient solution. However, growing this drug could be destructive to surrounding vegetation. Once a field of it was planted, the area would become barren for decades. Therefore, the planetary government couldn’t tolerate such rampant cultivation.

In addition, this plant, much like drugs on Earth, had a mentally stimulating effect on almost all lifeforms. As a result, it was classified as a forbidden drug. Only certain institutions and companies authorized by the government were allowed to cultivate it!

"So this is some kind of ’drug’. It’s quite a novelty to witness such a grim scenario of drug farming," Jia Yan observed the busy figures in the distance, an odd glow flickering in his compound eyes.

Although he was interested in testing whether this plant contained strong energy, he didn’t feel much desire to absorb it through his bodily organs. So, he decided to leave it be for now.

After all, not every energetic substance could be absorbed by Big Mosquito. If he didn’t feel a strong urge to absorb the energized plants right in front of him, it meant that either the energy in these plants wasn’t significant enough for Big Mosquito to harness, or the plants were unsuitable for him!

Regardless, there was no necessity for Jia Yan to expose himself now. Of course, if these plants proved useful for him, he might change his mind.

While Jia Yan was lost in thought, the harvesting team had already expanded to a size of forty or fifty people. Jia Yan saw that many life forms were still pouring out of the small town. Even if the town didn’t have a population of hundreds of thousands, it must have had at least several tens of thousands!

However, all those life forms in the small town were busy doing something. They were bustling about when Jia Yan watched them, and when Jia Yan thought the harvesting was almost finished and glanced back, he was utterly shocked!

All the towering buildings standing a few dozen meters high looked like chimneys, slowly toppling over.

Surely those buildings were not regular constructions, and unlikely made of common metals. They must have been made of powerful metals to collapse so effortlessly.

When Jia Yan saw that one after another, all the buildings had changed shape under his gaze, transforming into huge, mobile vehicles. Then, in front of his eyes, several towering vehicles, dozens of meters tall, started up and drove off with a mighty procession trailing behind them!

The large group of harvesters also moved swiftly, quickly finishing the harvest, then got into a few wheeled vehicles and followed the legion of vehicles.

Within half an hour, the town that could accommodate tens of thousands of people had turned into a massive caravan that ’drove’ away under Jia Yan’s watchful eyes.
